- I founds the previous guest’s used cloth in a closet, around sink had mold build up, the dadami floor had lots of stain, the staff did not cleaned room on the 2nd day, left towels and water bottle in front of door on the floor on a plastic sheet, food was not so poor that not edible, and so on and on.
- These aren't really complaints per-se, but... Staff felt like a bit of an odd bunch. Check-in felt very personal in a little way of technology or formality. Yukata provided, while clean, felt faded and over-washed. The bath took forever to fill, the towels were thin, and the bedding was scratchy and sweaty despite having AC set to cold.The dining experience was sub-par for the price paid. It felt like upscale school lunch with items coming from pre-made canned and frozen sections. It all tasted ok, though.

The experience of wearing Japanese style clothes is fun! The private room for having dinner is enjoyable, and the food for dinner was delicious. We didn't eat breakfast. The bath is very nice.
For the price, about over 400 USD, we expect a decent bed, not the quality of bed one would get at a 'love motel' in Korea that's like 60 USD. In addition, the property messaged us privately to check out at 10:30 am instead of the published 11 am on Booking.com For the price, you expect courtesy and quality in the little things. The room looked like the room where they stick their 'late' or 'last' reservations as there were stains on the floor/walls and some plug sockets ripped up. We also didn't like the managements lack of willingness to address our concerns post-stay, when they could have maintained a potential repeat customer if they had just faced up to your queries.
Charming and relaxing spot, though slightly outdated. Japanese bath tub was great!
