Le Meridien Goa Calangute

The property, including our room, was very comfortable, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the property is a long walk from the beach down a rough, dirt road. The town of Calangute is quite rough and not attractive for shopping or sightseeing.

Terrible experience

Actually, I had one of the most terrible experiences in a ‘ 5 star ‘ hotel in my entire life. I have travelled the world, moreover I have run hotels before. There wasn’t one department that did a good job. This property simply shouldn’t have the Marriott bonvoy badge! Don’t think Le Meridien should continue. I understand that Goa is a tourist place and even if you offer mediocre to abysmal service, it will always stay full during seasons. I think there is lack of efficient management , there is no training department at all and most staff are temporary staff with absolutely no clue of the procedures of the hotel and also basic hospitality . Perhaps it’s a way the owners are running the business to maximize earning potential. The concierge ( doesn’t exist) nobody can advise any nearby attractions or even good restaurants in and around the place. The bell service never came in time for the luggage , lied twice that they were on the way but only started after I reached the lobby. There is no travel desk ( should be one in a 5 star hotel in a tourist area like Goa ) . The only food that was good was the fruits because the chef didn’t touch it. Everyone was pretty much lost in that property . Like being run by headless chicken. I will definitely be posting this in trip advisor . I understand that this review will not change anything and you will respond by apologizing and making it up in the future. We both know that it’s not going to change both our lives and so let’s just go our separate ways. If I could give a negative star rating, I would have done it.

Our room didn’t have a balcony

We really enjoyed our time at Le Meridien Hotel. Room was cleaned and staff were super friendly and respectful. We loved the daily breakfast and most of the days Aryansh was our server. We loved him. One day my fiancé wasn’t feeling good and when we asked Meraj for some ginger for our Tea, he didn’t hesitate. I also want to mention Aadil, I think he was the housekeeping supervisor. We asked him for a hard mattress and he made it happen in no time! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Facilities, breakfast, game areas, kid game room, gym, swimming pool & all

When we going for Breakfast 1 girl staff very attitude behavior is very rudely, bcz i open window swimming pool view side, don't know how to Dare she like behavior. 1st time very bad experience last 4 years i am staying here every year 7-8days old staff was excellent but now staff very bad

Everything great! They were doing some construction but no problem. Everything fine! The employees at reception were absolutely amazing and they took best care of us, specially Portia, whom went way above and beyond her duties to make us feel super welcome, comfortable, and happy. Thank you so much Portia!! You are the Best!

Good quality of the rooms and breakfast

Not able to smoke and nothing is said in the hotel description. Staff is not proficient.

Everything else was great, the rooms, the food, the pool, the games room, the staff was always helpful, my family definitely enjoyed the stay.

One thing I'd love to see improved is the bar at the pool, when we ordered food/drinks by the pool, it took longer than expected, other than that everything else was great!

Good breakfast offering a variety of cuisines, the swimming pool was amazing. Located on the central road, yet far from the noise. The room was clean and well designed.

The room was really comfortable. They allowed us to check in an hour early and check out an hour late too. The breakfast spread was really good. Children loved the pool and the amenities are great. All the staff were courteous and attentive.

It just felt like sometimes the staffing by the pool was not enough which meant that we had to wait a bit for our food/beverages to arrive.

Breakfast was fantastic staff were amazing amazing facilities and just all around one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I got a bit sick during my trip and the kitchen made me bespoke soups etc to help me heal. Just fantastic stay.

Needs improvement in Sound proofing

The staff under BABITA are extremely supportive and warm. We had a semi.medical emergency wherein the staff responded admirably. The bfast and dinner spread were awesome. Overall it was a extremely satisfying experience and would highly recommend the stay. The walk to the beach via holiday street was abt 10 min only.
