Lacked elevator; had to carry bag on outside stairs to 3rd floor

- the cleanness of the room - the location by the water and close to other dining - food is good

- we booked a room with view, but it appears to be a sideview of the water through a small window - the vanity in the bathroom needs to be updated

Such friendly staff and beautifully clean rooms! Restaurant on sight is great!

It¿s just a bit dated. Outside entry to rooms. Not enough parking/ parking very tight by our house we stayed in.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and roomy, and the location overlooking the water was amazing!

Five star hotel.

Cost more then I usually spend. Only place I could find for this night.

I liked the outlook over trees, the outdoor patio, the large grassy area for kids (no kids with me though) and the restaurant for breakfast. I don't like to be cooped up in a hotel room so it suited me very well.

Noisy neighbours upstairs. Some machinery noise.

The location was ideal. This somewhat dated hotel was sparking clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had a comfortable sleep. Hotel was very quiet at night

Very dated. Overpriced for what it was. Staff was upset that we were traveling and arriving 10 minutes before they closed for the evening when we didn¿t even know they had a closing time at the time of booking.

The staff! Check in, restaurant and cleaning crews. All outstanding. Friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Walking distance to waterfront and downtown. Comfy beds.

Dated bathroom fixtures. Could not get window open for fresh air.

No access to the restaurant beyond 8pm, makes it difficult for late arrivals as nothing else in town was open

it's style

I have grown fond of staying at historic Inns when I travel around Nova Scotia. This one was clean, conveniently located and friendly staff.

Nothing significant but the soap in the bathroom was empty - which is difficult to address when you’re in the midst of your shower lol

I actually have nothing bad to say. The beds were comfortable; the showers were hot; the food was great; the service was exceptional and very friendly. Close to the town and to the Cabot Trail. Excellent stay! Would definitely recommend!
