Hôtel-Motel Castel de la Mer

It's really nice location,very easy to find.Staff very nice and room very spaciousand convenient. Little tablet to eat or play. Beds are so comfortable that you sleep like in heaven. Price very good for the 2 queenbeds for 3 people, ---$/night.

Friendly staff (particularly the manager at the front desk who spoke english very well), clean rooms, plenty of parking, good wi-fi connection.

The motel surroundings were leafy and secluded with convenient parking. Property on a pretty street, walking distance to some nice restaurants. The room decor was warm, inviting, and well-kept contemporary. Hotel staff were accommodating and friendly.

Although we weren't surprised, it would have been nice not to have to carry suitcases up stairs to the 2nd floor. Tea making items in the room would have been nice. TV was missing the remote to play USB media.

We took a superior suite which had a fully equipped kitchenette with a table and good seating area and everything we needed. Room was spotless and parking very accessible. The comfy armchair was great. Good lighting and all amenities in bathroom provided. Highly recommend.

The room was updated, more like a hotel than a motel. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The property is located right by the highway but also on a street of several nice restaurants and cafés.

The location was awesome and the rooms and surrounding area was all spotless The size of the room was very nice and included a good size table to sit at both inside and out (on a small balcony). Plenty of parking and a cute section for a continental breakfast (for a small fee). Would ? return.

The only thing was the rooms were not as soundproof as we would have liked BUT it was completely quiet at night so this would not deter us from returning.

The staff, when asked for out rooms together...stated that because we didn't book via then we didn't have priority and next time not to use booking that we would have more service

Clean and spacious room with all necessary equipment. Little kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. Enough cutlery and glasses to be comfortable. Silent complex with easy parking! Housekeeping was very good!

Nothing to dislike but we missed a watercooker

The heating system and the curtains. Basically to avoid curtains being above the heating system .. the dark curtains did not pull in. Consequently.. all there was was a flight sheer curtain to the parking.. and really anyone could see in.. seems odd.. and inconvenient. No way to get the room totally dark or private

The room is poorly soundproofed. Neighbors were partying and we could hear everything. However the staff was prompt to warn them and we were able to sleep the night without trouble.

Everything.Great big room, well equipped, very clean, comfy bed and everything updated and practically new.Owner was very friendly and accommodating when we asked to change the room from second floor to ground floor because of mobility issues

Nothing.The town of Malbaie didn’t offer much to see and do but Baie St Paul was only 30 minutes away and Tadoussac 1 hour away

The hotel was clean, the location is great so close to many local restaurants
