    Pros +

    • Friendly while also professional Staff, grounds, artwork, pristine pools and beach.
    • This hotel is a 5-star experience for the millennial. Laid back, not too pushy, beautiful amenities, decor, design and restaurant options!
    • Location is woooow

    Cons -

    • Prices. Beverages prices and food prices are very higt The rate prices has a Lot of extras . A Lot
    • Mosquitos to much
    • Our room was close to the lobby and main amenities, which was great. On the downside this means you are more likely to have groups of people walking past you on the pathway back to their rooms at night. This wasn't a problem for me but perhaps something to consider if looking at a lagoon view room.

A truly lovely location on the beach with an overall relaxing environment. This year we could get a 2+ mile walk in on the beach in the mornings--last year when we were there the beach was much smaller/shallower which limited how far you could walk before you came upon rocks/cliffs we couldn't walk around. The Rooms felt very private, most of the resort is effectively laid out as two room duplexes, which I find much nicer compared to a high-rise style resort.I think this property offers great value compared to some of the other big name resorts in Punta Mita--particularly if you enjoy relaxing on an uncrowded beach vs playing golf.

The food was very good (especially at Spice Market) and the staff - from concierge to gardeners - were very friendly.

In our room, the trash can in the toilet cabin was broken and the television was hanging sideways and forward. We reserved for 2 people but there was only one bathrobe provided.

The property is nice. Very beach vibes, it was reasonable.

The staff. We got walked in while we were NAKED twice by house keeping when we clearly had the do not disturb sign out on our door. The room service orders were always wrong, ALWAYS! The concierges would tell us one thing and when we would arrive at the location we were told differently or place was not even open. The communication was a complete joke and frustrating. Our car service arrangement leaving the hotel was arranged weeks prior to trip, when we got to the front desk and showed the email, they looked at us like we stupid. Our car wasn’t even ready as pick up was at 12:10. We didn’t get picked up till 12:45 and was almost late for our flight. The hotel and staff likes to take the money but the service was shit. And they really need to work on that. For the amount of money they charge for the rooms, the service was be perfect. Also the lounge chairs at the pool are a joke. The guest go out as early as 6:30 am to place a “book” or “sun screen bottle”, to hold a spot for them when they didn’t arrive till noon or one. That’s totally unpair to all the guests and should be allowed.

The service is outstanding! Stuff are genuinely nice and helpful!

All good! Just be aware that at the checkout time it might be problematic to get a car to drive your luggage to reception. Take this into account on your way back to airport.

A complete dream, so comfortable, amazing staff, beautiful adult pool overlooking the beach. Just stunning, a true paradise.

The food is very expensive and tbh we had better flavours in Mexico City and local towns for a lot less.

The food was spectacular ! The location very nice and the staff very nice.

Rooms need to be updated. I stayed in a jungle view room. I would’ve happily paid for it if rooms conditions were better. Some family members found insects in their rooms. That was not appreciated. However the presidential suite was fantastic.

I visited this location several years ago and found the service level unacceptable. After my initial trip, I vowed never to return there. However, when I learned that a friend of mine was going for business, I decided to give them a second chance. This time, I am so happy that I went! Upon arrival, I could feel a different energy; the staff was very accommodating, and I learned that they have been making it a priority to hire highly trained staff and improve their amenities, restaurants, spa services, etc. Also, the beach is beautiful!

Although they offer golf cart drivers to escort guests from various rooms to the main lobby/restaurants, the paths could use a bit more light for the villas with jungle views.

The property seemed a bit old and run down

The rooms were not crisp and clean it seemed a bit run down and the room was not clean the floor was a bit dirty

The Spice Market Restaurant and location.Mr Hector Hernandez was a great concierge.

There is not enough staff in the pools, in the bar and the Venazú restaurant for breakfast, the service is slow. Two days the cleaning if the room was funde too late.Too much noise for morning activities near the lake since 8:30amThe music is always the same kind electronic, needs more variety. The front desk have guys don’t solve issues promptly.

Everything was wonderful, the installations are simply amazing, the staff in the whole hotel is fantastic, lovely and so professional, the food was absolutely delicious, everybody made our stay so special and beautiful. I can’t wait to be back in this paradise

A bit pricey but expected in this kind of resorts

    2ArmanPosted on: 4-6-2024

The stuff is very slow. You have to repeat your request several times and follow up. 5 stars hotel with $800 per day ??? It’s absolutely not worth it and as you can see by picture (Front door is not closing completely , “nice” sofa in the room looks like my grandpa furniture. There is only two restaurants in hotel, which one of them open only for dinner so another one is a breakfast area, which works for lunch just with limited menu, no main course only sandwiches, guacamole, and Caesar salad

    9JohnPosted on: 2-2-2024

Amazing staff and obviously in a beautiful place in Mexico.

The food prices were a bit expensive. Also, would have loved a small coffee shop for more casual food options.

    10GrantPosted on: 1-23-2024

Beach and pool were excellent. We stayed in the jungle room which had a beautiful view of the foliage. The restaurants offered a number of vegetarian and vegan options which we appreciated.

I can’t think of much to change. The staff were all helpful and friendly but never intrusive. Really the only suggestion is that you not allow people to claim space and chairs at the pool or beach by placing towels and other items then not returning for hours. It didn’t impact us too much but I find that to be an annoyance when I show up and can’t find a good chair yet the chairs I’d like to use aren’t occupied.

    8MeghnaPosted on: 12-28-2023

Pool, easy beach access, landscaping, design of spaces, campfire, smores, movie night, and above all the friendly staff.

Restaurant food, especially the spice market, was not great. The bed in the room could be more comfortable. Was squeaky.
