    Pros +

    • Location is beautiful - on the edge of the beach, feels like you are in a private location
    • Location & beach was great!! There is a tiger named ?Daisy? on location for what I understand many years. Her enclosure is very small, so very cruel. Property has 300 acres and she has 200 sq ft. No toys, just a cement enclosure. :-(
    • Location and service.

    Cons -

    • Amenities in your room: no coffee or tea with all inclusive option. Hotel hrs 7 am - 11 pm Prefer 6 am - 11 pm. Lobby is compact.
    • Upon check out, another guests spa bill was added to our room. The signature was verified it was not ours & they still wouldn?t let us leave unless we paid the charge (that was not ours). Threatened to call the police if we did not pay.
    • Check-in and check-out were extremely difficult and stole time from my vacation. Hotel employee is the best! She resolved many of the challenges my family encountered upon our check-in.

The beach, the beach chairs and shade structures.

The all-inclusive option was not as accessible as other resorts. Having to sign a receipt for every drink was an annoyance. Further, the beach servers were few and far between.

Customer service was terrible. Waited over an hour to check in. At check out I was told I needed to pay fees for my 17 year old daughter. I added her at the time of booking my room. There was no error on my part yet still charged. More to the story.

Very convenient, felt extremely secure, had everything you'd need without leaving resort. Beach was well kept, clean, lots of accessible cabanas. Really good choice for families with kids and seniors. Bilingual staff was extremely friendly.

Our beds were terrible. 2 restaurants were good (Italian and Japanese)the others were mid to lousy. SKIP the'buy a share/join us' presentation. Misrepresented and 4 diff salespeople hand offs. Rewards not worth time. Stay there but eat at mall/grocery.

Our room. It was new Also the Tulum Bar was very nice

The beach is not nice. There was NEVER chair available. No where to sit. Everyone takes the chadors by 8:00 am. Also at the pool. Sand is brown and not sand it is dirt. Chairs are dirty and broken. Pool is gross

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-7-2023

The beach chairs and the crocodile slides for the kids. Also the free mini zoo out front.

The MANDATORY check out process is unnecessarily long, took 45 minutes and there were only 2 people in line ahead of us. My wristband broke and I threw it away and it was a $18 charge. The check in process takes a long time as well. Pool is always packed.

Staff was awesome and so many things to do.

Rooms were smaller that expected. Buffet was not as good as expected

Location, cookie & shower power. Shuttle personnel was amazing!

Lack of service, rushed & didn't want to provide water. Also, no amenities, To-go breakfast or open restaurant options.

My only problem was my wife had and upset stomach and asked for sprite. They they didn't sell coke products , but i see them using it on a mixed drink but still sell me one drink

They gave us a free upgrade and everyone was super nice.

the swimming pool closes too early!

We found cockroaches in the bathroom and I notified the manager, she didn’t do anything about it. Beds are super old and paint pealing off the walls

The beach area was very nice. We were fortunate to be able to upgrade to a delux suite at no additional charge, and all of the rooms have complete kitchens.

Trying to get a lounge chair was difficult as "members" are allowed to reserve but guests cannot. Also, our room had only two twin beds which could not be pushed together.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-30-2016

The lobby area is clean and comfortable.

The staff was not very welcoming, starting with the bell boys to the staff at the reception desk. The bell boy, instead of welcoming me to the hotel and ask me if I needed any assistance, he asked who I was picking up (who knows what he assumed!!).

We only had to stay one night due to a much cheaper flight. Convenient for short stay.
