Hotel Mio Riviera Nayarit - Adults Only

Room was good. Liked pool area and gym.

Breakfast buffet was Okay but not great. No omelet station and too many local dishes.

We really enjoyed our 8 nights at the Mio hotel. All members of the staff from lobby, front-desk, room services, restaurant and bar staff, maintenance/facilities were all wonderful, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. The Mio had a good selection for breakfast, both for ordered items and for the buffet. We didn't try that much of their lunch and dinner menu items, but of those that we did try, they were top notch and tasted great. The location of the hotel was great in that we could see wonderful views of the ocean from the upper floors and roof areas, and it was not a long walk to be able to hit the NV beach. There is also a shopping plaza nearby and many other local restaurants, of which we sampled a few and loved them all.

Affordable, but not alot of reasonably priced options for shopping or restaurants in the area

There were people smoking in none designated areas.Amazon package never recieved - even though Amazon says they delivered it.

Three beautiful rooftop pools and two hot tubs with plenty of lounge chairs for all guests. Watch the sunrise in a well equipped rooftop gym. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety with Mexican and American options (definitely a highlight). It's worth it to pay a little extra for the oceanside views. We will be coming back!

Some of the rooftop bathrooms were dirty. Restaraunt food and drinks were good but expensive.

The taco order on the rooftop was good.The availability of a bike rental service was a practical amenity for local exploration.

The internet connectivity was highly unreliable. In a modern day, a consistent connection is expected, yet this service frequently dropped to zero.The room's "view" was essentially an active construction yard, providing more of an industrial outlook rather than a scenic one.

Modest rooms, just basic - no coffee/water/ shampoo conditioner but for the price, quite nice!

Overall property was fantastic. Room are simple but clean, open and spacious. Food at the pool restaurant was great. Not a huge variety but all very good. Fun pool cocktails and a daily happy hour. One television with sports on above the pool bar. Staff was friendly and attentive and remembered us over the course of the week. Filtered water and ice machines available on every floor.

The room could use a little more seating - one more chair and be warned that there is no way to close off the shower area in case you are not comfortable changing in front of someone else staying with you (you can do it in the shower behind frosted glass. Because of the humidity there was just a faint musty smell but nothing was dirty or moldy.

We were a bit limited in food choices as most of the nearby properties are all inclusive and we didn't have a vehicle. Also there was another big pool on the property and we were told that it was only for airbnb renters/residents.

The rooftop restaurant!!! It was AMAZING! I booked a room with breakfast included, which I recommend. When you check in they put a band on your arm which signifies you get the free breakfast. Eat all you want:) The breakfast was fantastic, and the view from the open air rooftop restaurant makes it spectacular. The service was quick and the food was delicious! I had a hamburger that was the best one I've eaten in a long time. The hotel is new, clean, and comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was bigger than I anticipated. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. For the money, this is by far the best hotel I've booked in many years!

My only complaint is that in my room there was a wifi router (?) or something attached to the ceiling that had blinking blue lights, which you only notice when the lights are off. I found it slightly distracting as I prefer a really dark room.

The hotel is relatively smaller in relation to those around the same area but they make up in every single way. Everything was amazing. I'll list my top things that I was observing:1. The hotel is clean across the board, they are actively cleaning throughout the day - it invites to make use of the facilities as they have 2 pools ( one on the rooftop (medium size), and one by the lobby (really big pool)).2. Friendly/attentive staff - everyone was incredibly caring and friendly, from the easy check in, bartender, waiter, guards, janitorial team, concierge, and security guard. All of them were super attentive throughout the entire stay, never pushy or expecting a tip. The carried the luggage to our room during check in, and loaded our luggage into our car during checkout. One of the friendliest staff I've encountered in recent trips3. Parking - parking is free, only one entrance with one guard screening everyone in, and it's a roofed parking lot with a direct access to the elevator that leads to the rooms4. Room service - 10-25 bucks for 3-4 dishes delivered to the room. Perfect when craving late night snacks as the service is 24/7.5. Gym Equipment - it's common for hotels to have a very small gym space, but this one had 5 cardio machines, 3 weight machines, and 1 whole set of weights (from 2.5kg to 35kg) It was cleaned, well maintained, with A/C, and right beside the pool and bar, so right after a morning workout you could quickly jump into the pool and then grab something to eat. 6. Room is almost as accurate as advertised, if anything I found the room to be a lot bigger than I expected. You can easily fit your luggage, there is a small fridge, shower is massive, washroom is separated from the shower, there's a safe, a desk, high speed wifi that doesn't disconnect every 5 minutes, view was pretty, spacious balcony, good A/C, and a comfortable bed. Amazing place.

I don't have any negative feedback. 10/10 on this place.
