AC Hotel San Jose Escazu

Clean and relatively new. Staff is nice. Breakfast is good- but make sure you buy it with your room.

The hotel lobby and restaurant play incredibly loud music at all hours of the day including breakfast. I won¿t stay here again because there are no dining options to avoid this. This isn¿t a nightclub and I was on a business trip.

I stay at the AC often and it never disappoints.

The location was great and so was the staff.

Confusing access driveway that’s easy to miss.

Beakfast is not included. Would be nice if it were. We ordered room service serval times during our stay because the restaurant food was really good..

The property offered easy and free parking which was helpful and well located near the highway.

We booked a room for three but yet they only provide water in the room for two and say you have to pay for the third bottle and also same for breakfast. Booked for breakfast but only provide for two people. If you request a room for three and pay for a room for three then please include things for three people.

The property provided a lounge, nice modern furnishings. Located where there are nice restaurants and plenty of shopping.

We arrived at the hotel at about 1:00 pm. We were told that our room was ready so we went to our room and dropped off our bags. We were never told that there was a fee to check in early, I found out when I checked out. I have stay at Marriott properties all around the world, in Mónaco, Paris, Germany, the US, and we have never been charged a fee to check in early. It seemed that this was to generate money and not generate future guests. Also they bathroom door was off the hinge and I had to place 2 calls for someone to fix it( in the afternoon and again in the evening when we returned to the room). The last night there was small roach in the room.

We only had one night at AC hotel Marriott but extremely pleased with our room , check in and the big gym. We found a choice of good restaurants and cafes near by.

The breakfast options were extensive. The process of ordering and getting breakfast seemed more complicated than it needed to be though. Other than that the stay was great, the gym and lobby area were nice.

Just the process of ordering breakfast. They don’t tell you that you only get 2 meals free, even if you’re a family of 4. They also don’t specify who has to pay for the breakfasts and who gets free ones.

It’s ok as a business hotel. Staff is nice and very helpful

- First of all, this doesn’t seem like a 5* hotel. Google lists it as a 3* hotel that seems fair- The walls and doors are paper thin and you will hear everything that is happening outside in the corridor or outside your window (loading of cars early on)- AC even on low setting is quite too much and will blow on you when you are in bed- Our view was the office outside, like 15 meters across the window. Was nice, clean, and good location

The way how you get there! There is not very good connection between the parking and lobby! When we arrived we were very confused where is the front desk and did not have anyone to help us with the luggage!
