    Pros +

    • Fast Reaction to Service IssuesI believe that in every hotel or service-based business, occasional issues can happen. However, what truly matters is how quickly and effectively the staff respond to solve the problem. On the first night, the blanket in our room was not clean and had an unpleasant smell, so I couldn’t rest properly. The next morning, I reported the issue to the reception, and they resolved it promptly. I really appreciated how fast and efficiently they handled the situation.
    • Rooms were spacious and clean.Staff was accommodating and helpful.Food buffet was above average and healthier than most all-inclusives we've stayed at.All day snacks were very good.
    • We liked that it was close to the beach. The animated activities were also good especially the mini disco for kids. The lady who cleaned our room was very very nice. The mini water park was ideal for our little one.

    Cons -

    • Location is hard to get to from Barcelona with public transport.
    • You get what you pay for here. Some of the staff were rude at times. For example, we were told we could ask for a picnic for the next day but only after 7pm and when we asked we were told, in a way that implied we we’re stupid, that it was only before 7pm.The food is mediocre at best. I think the cooks are doing the best job they can, they are just being supplied with low quality ingredients. One very bad thing is that a terrible terrible smell would waft up through the drain overnight. Like a smell of sewer and it came up every morning and also if we were away from the room for a few hours. We told the desk about it but all they did was ask the cleaning lady to blast the bathroom with air freshener but did nothing to address the problem.
    • One small suggestion: the lights at the mini football playground turned off at 10:15 PM. It would be even better if they stayed on until 11 PM, as the kids really wanted to play a bit longer. Especially after dinner, which usually finished around 9:30 PM — they only had about 30 to 45 minutes to enjoy the playground in the evening.

An excellent hotel for a holiday with children, with evening activities (minidisco), excellent, delicious and varied food. Rooms also clean and with air conditioning. We will definitely come back!

The hotel was amazing — a beautiful building with really kind and hard-working staff. Everyone from the reception, the restaurant team, the ladies at the poolside café, and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was big, comfortable, and had a nice balcony with a great view of the pool. It was cleaned every day. In the evenings, there was entertainment for the kids, which we really appreciated. There were also great facilities like a padel court, a mini football playground, and pool tables. We had breakfast and dinner included, and both were very tasty. Dinner was different each day, which we really enjoyed. The pool was fantastic! The kids loved it — even though the water was a bit cool in April. It was big and fun for both children and adults. My kids especially loved the toboggan!Just one tip: you’ll need a car if you want to visit nearby places like Sitges, Salou, or even Barcelona, which is only about 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

The pool is nice and clean, water is not too cold or not. The buffet food was pretty good too. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The property is old. Pillows were not comfortable, the elevators were sometimes hard to catch. It’s a family hotel so expect lots of small kids.

    5Smh3489Posted on: 6-8-2024

Some staff very friendly and helpful. The water slides and pool were excellent.

Food very much the same every day. Entertainment starts at 2130 it’s too late for little ones. And the entertainment isn’t great tbh. This hotel has the potential to be something special. It just needs a few things to change. If you go all inclusive not everything is included. (Chicken nuggets for example you have to pay extra for)

Not very much we went out everyday as this place was so depressing.. it was very boring no entertainment, rooms very basic, food was the same and the majority of our party lived on chips. Advertised with lots of places to eat and drink and indoor swimming pool… this was not true you had to pay £15 per person to use the indoor pool and only the one place to eat no choice of restaurant or bar… definitely not a four star hotel?

    Everything please see above…

Staff leisure facilities. All inclusive value

Meals could have been a little warmer

    6TaliPosted on: 9-24-2023

The pool was a lovely feature and always a sun bed free. Room was lovely size, and light.

The staff were rude, if we asked for information they’d loose you stupid and answer in Spanish. We went half board and I’d never do it again. It cost €13 euro for two drinks (Rum and Coke/G&T) go down the round and it’s all of 2€ for a beer/cider. Also they state you have free water with every meal - ask for what? We get a bottle and have to pay 2.50€ ask for tap water it’s free… not that they explain this! They also advertise that there’s a lot around the hotel, there really isn’t unless you want to walk for half an hour or get a bus for 20/30 minutes.

    5LisaPosted on: 9-21-2023

the facilities were fab. the pool was great the splash park for the kids and the slide. it was very well prepared for families. the location was amazing short trip from the airport, a short walk along the beach to bars and restaurants and a 10 min bus journey to Salou town. all drinks on the all inclusive were premium drinks.

I think the property was a little dated in some areas and is in need of a little make over. i also would have like a separate bedroom and wasn’t aware on booking that this wasn’t the case. although that wasn’t a major thing. the food wasn’t the best but i put that down to my tastes too. the cleaner didn’t empty any bins we had to do that and would still leave dirty towels in the bath when leaving clean ones. even left the door open after cleaning one day! the staff seemed rude to the English. they never included us in the entertainment and pool games and had very little patience for us.

    6AdrianaPosted on: 9-15-2023

Great pools and the rooms were nice, plus the beds were pretty comfortable.

Way too expensive in comparison to other hotels in La Pineda. And it’s my first time EVER not having our meal drinks (lunch and dinner) not be included even though we had Pension Completa, and I’m taking about when we were having our meals, and not during snack times. A young woman told me to ask for “la agua del hotel” (tap water) because it was all they had for free and she wasn’t surprised by my disbelief. Drinks should’ve been included, at least fountain drinks, simple wines and beers which Spain is flooded with. We will not be going back.

    5StephaniePosted on: 8-29-2023

The kids pool and snack bar were great

The rooms were dated beds felt dirty every day and the staff weren’t too pleasant. Food was awful we booked al inclusive but ate out every day as it was so bad.

    1PaciPosted on: 5-22-2023

Thé first day I passed the entire day in the reception they didn’t know what were they doing we took the pension complete and the food was disgusting . I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone this was my worst hotel I ever got in Spain

Thé beds and the food for sure

my kids loved mini Disco, Magic show. I love aqua gym, jacuzzi, swimming pool.

my kids didn’t like the food. They ate chips every day- I was disappointed with that. Also big queues in the restaurant… For me and my husband the food was ok, but the same every day(

    8AdamPosted on: 8-2-2022

Food was great, easy access to beach, pool was perfect size, parking outside the hotel was safe and free. Lots of drink and food choices. Lots of Spanish and not so many British. Staff were great.

Corridor carpets need to be replaced. No water in the room although you can get your own.
