The room is big
My balcony faces the bar downstairs, which is party noisy at night.
the room was good,cleen
very crowded! There was a big line for everything to get at breakfast and dinner
I liked the following things: 1) the hotel's location, just a few steps away from the sea and the bus stop to Barcelona, 2) the delicious and varied food, and 3) the friendly staff.
I didn't like the following aspects: 1) the hotel itself is old and worn out, 2) the beds are uncomfortable, 3) the room is very noisy, 4) this is not a hotel issue, but there are some excavations going on on the beach, so the view is not very pleasant, and you have to walk around the excavations, 4) and the biggest disappointment is the internet, which doesn't work in the rooms, the corridors, or anywhere else. The connection lasts for about 3 minutes, and then it disconnects for the entire week. The connection speed is so slow that it's unusable.
Location is wonderful, very near the beach.Food of Lunch and Dinner were good.Overall the hotel space is good.Good value for the money.
1. Organization: we were 6 for instance, and we like to go early on breakfast that start at 8AM. Well at 8AM not all the rooms are open and there are limited seats for 6 people. Even if it's half empty hotel staff insisted on put us on a two tables space that is comfortable for 4 people, not 6. With so many vacant tables is just to annoy clients.2. Service: Also on breakfast omelets service are only open at 8:15-8:20, well, if it's open at 8 all services should be open at 8.3. Organization: Also on meals, second room with more tables only open when it's crowded, means that on lunch and dinner only one spot to get drinks until it's crowded. Again just to annoy clients that need to walk the full restaurant distance to get a drink when the second spot was right next to us, but closed.4. Room: Only one bathroom for 6 is not easy, but here was our fault we should read more carefully the room description.5. Bags room: No one puts an label on the suitcase with the room number, people just go inside bags room and remove bags without even a employee of the Hotel. And of course a note saying that hotel does not take responsibility on the bags. For a 4* hotel expected much more, specially like was our case that had to leave the suitcases on the hotel on the checkout day. 6. Pools: Too much chlorine for me, children didn't complained but I couldn't be on the pool for more and a couple minutes without eyes starting to cry.
very crowded family hotel, loud music from pool area, staff friendly, food acceptable
my car was broken into just in front of the hotel, buffet like a mass stampede, the BBQ evening offered cold stuff in minimal quantity.Access to beach closed, constructions
Very good location, we had sea view, but access to the beach was blocked due to construction (which is not hotel’s fault). Most social areas had marble flooring which gave it an opulent feeling. The room was recently uplifted, so nice, modern. Meal buffets were so plentiful and had a huge variety. We did not enjoy the entertainment options, but it had something for each age, nationality and taste. We upgraded to half board for EUR 10 p.p./day and is worth the money. Overall, amazing days!
The room faced the pool, where the entertainment stage was located. There was action until around 11:00pm every night and it was a bit noisy - but since we were on vacations we didn’t care much - again, this is not a complaint, but if you want to wake up very early and is sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs :P
The food, the ancient monuments, the animation team were very good, we liked everything
Everything was fine
Clean, comfortable room. The pool was cold but to be expected in April. The indoor pool was great and wonderful that it didn't exclude children. We enjoyed the food and plenty of choice for everyone - possible a little restrictive if you have allergies or dietary requirements, but fine for us.
Would have been nice to use the other restaurants as part of all-inclusive
Clean spacious good food near the beach
Water in the indoor pool
The exterior and interior were lovely with very modern features in the rooms but keeping the historical feel of the Greek/spanish mix.The food was great always fresh and the bread and pastries freshly baked. Cocktails were lovely especially the fresha mojito. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The queuing system for the food.Wish it was warmer.
Good hotel overall. Food was nice, can be repetitive at times, pork all the time. Could do with an international buffet ..Chinese, Indian etc. Mexican food was good.Staff overall lovely, entertainment was very good. Swimming pool can be messy [indoor]All inclusive is always a great option.
Internet was very poorKeys to access the apartment was a nightmare
Location was great, premises are clean and well run.
It is very noisy inside due to the structure of the round atrium every door slam and child running about is loud, until 11pm ish so if you are an early to bed person keep that in mind. Very active family oriented, so great for people with kids.
Beds were comfy rooms very clean but also very hot. No air-conditioning till June.
The fact that there was no access to the beach. Due to building works, should have been informed of this, these works will not be completed till February 2026.. Food could have been abit warmer.
Apartment a good size, outdoor pool area nice and entertainment in the evenings .food ok .
Very Slow check in and uninterested in customer service at reception (palas pineda side of hotel ) did not give any information about anything no explanation about apartment entrance which was tricky , no wifi in room even though i requested it for a medical reason . indoor pool was not cleaned throughout the day and was dirty in the evening , at 3.40 would not let us order food at the bar even though they were closing at 4pm , pool tables not working , just overall seemed uninterested in providing a good experience for guests .
Everything!!Location perfect, close to beach.Food very good standard with plenty of choices from cheese and chorizo and salad to hot food and desserts and fruit. Kids very happy with ice cream choices. Animation team working hard, for all, small kids and adults, good evening programs, thanks for them effort. Apartment was cleaned daily,no problem with towels. Thanks for great experience.
Nothing, maybe need more attention to plants around VIP area
Reception very nice and grand, Check in took some time. Originally booked apartment, dated style but with modern bathroom. Apartment block is slightly detached from hotel we had a pram and there is some stairs with no ramp if you do not want to go out of the resort and round to the reception to gain access via lift to the pool area. Bathroom door wouldn’t close floor generally dirty. Moved to duplex more modern but lacks facilities (kettle microwave etc) kettles can be rented if needed and microwave is in reception number 1 or in the restaurant. Food generally ok great variety but quality not so great ( in our opinion) Staff very friendly and helpful. I would say this is worth the cost however we would not stay here again.
I don’t feel this was a four star property. The hotel was kept clean but facilities were not as advertised. The gym was in poor condition and nothing like the photos on the website. Not one of the three treadmills were useable. The sun beds in the adult only area were uncomfortable. We were in an apartment and the key situation is ridiculous. Only one key allocated to us (for which a deposit has to be paid) and it is complex to work. We wasted 30 mins on our first day trying to get it to work.Note that the beach in La Pineda has heavy construction work and is not accessible.
We liked mostly everything. We travelled in a low season so it was no problem to park our car on the street. The pool was too cold to swim in october however we still enjoyed the water temperature in the sea. The beach near the hotel was very nice.Reading here some complaints about food choice is ridiculous. Our only problem was avoiding the constant overeating.
Probably the only thing what was somewhat anoying was the construction of the shower flooding the whole bathroom if not using it very carefully
