    • The included breakfast was incredible - fresh with a great variety. Lots of continental items, including meats and house produced pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, fancy coffee machines; along with hot items that were actually hot and a chef there to cook other things on request. We had dinner there once too - 26 Euros each - it was also good. The nearby spa facility was great too and included for up to three hours a day - huge hot spas, large warm pools, cool pools, ice, steam sauna. Yes, they were working on the nearby beach foreshore but that didn't create disturbing noise and you can still directly access the beach. The many padel courts next to us were fascinating and well used. All of the staff were lovely. There was also nightly entertainment included at the other end of the sister resorts but starting at 9:30pm, so we never checked it out! Oassium is part of the Estival group and is located on the beach side of the large area along with all of the Estival properties - the whole thing was a quiet haven, with no cars or other vehicles inside the perimeter. Parking was free on the beach road, 3 minutes walk from our room.
    • Very clean and the staff was friendly
    • The resort is very nice and full of amenities. The pool is wonderful and the ability to enjoy the nearby beautiful SPA also makes the difference.

    Cons -

    • The in-room fridge was too small but the bar staff were always happy to provide us with ice in beakers.
    • A lot of construction in the area
    • We chose this hotel for the seaside resort and its proximity to the beach except to discover on arrival that all the paving of the coastline is being redone and still a very ugly and uncomfortable construction site with mountains of gravel. This is a large undertaking, not small changes and it should be pointed out this discomfort and not being an unpleasant surprise.

Very smart placement of balcony drying racks that enabled guests to dry their beachwear, towels, etc., out of view.In-room climate control was excellent. Breakfast good. Poolside drink prices were great. Access to Aquum Spa is wonderful!

I don't like the bracelet key system. In fact, we were unable to access our room on our checkout day and had to be let in by the receptionist. The entire playa de la Pineda was under construction: Loud. piles of rubble fully obscured any view of the water.

The reception could be hit and miss on friendliness. The pool was beautiful, but unfortunately, it was too cold to swim in mid-April, but we enjoyed sitting in the loungers on a sunny day. Grounds were really well kept. Our room was spacious. Lots of room for luggage, big closet, safe. Coffee and tea and kettle in room. The bathroom was a nice size, good shower, and private toilet. Shampoo and body wash. Lots of room for your toiletries. Fluffy towels. We liked the balcony, which looked out on the pool. Really nice breakfast, eggs, sausages, bacon, as well as cereal and baked goods, fruit, cheese, and meats. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh orange juice. There was no other restaurant at the hotel, only drinks in the afternoon. I'd pass dining at the other attached hotels, dismal, except the one by the health club. It had a lovely outdoor patio and good for lunch or dinner. But the hotel was also close to lots of restaurants. The beach was a 2 minute walk. Unfortunately, they were doing some digging at the beach, so not much of a view but rubble and work trucks. We were clearly vacationing off-season as we noticed restaurants opening up and the place becoming more lively as our holiday went on, but we liked the quetiness. There's a bus 2 minute walk, and you can buy a pass to go to other towns like Salau and Tarragona. The BEST part of the hotel was the water spa. Fantastic! Our stay included 3 hours per day. We loved it! So relaxing! We also had massages. They were lovely. All in all, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel.

Our room had a pickle ball court behind it. If you had the bathroom window, the noise was annoying and went on until 9:30 at night. We weren't in our room that much, and you could close the window, and it was quiet. But I found the constant sound irritating every time we walked to our room. The bed was uncomfortable!! I was up all night. It was too hard for me. I asked for a blanket and I put it under the sheets and then I was fine, my husband was ok with the bed. I think it was because we went in mid-April, but a place to eat lunch or dinner in the hotel would have been nice. This might happen in the summer months? So, really more observations than complaints as we really enjoyed our stay. Note: This has nothing to do with the hotel, just the location. Be aware, if you're coming from Barcelona, the fast train is outside the city and took two buses to get to the hotel. One was a city bus where we stood in the middle of the bus with our suitcases while everyone pushed onto the bus. Not pleasant. We took a cab back for $45.00 euros, which was worth it. The reginal train is in Tarragona, but you still have a bus to La Pineda.

    Great staff and the spa

Great hotel, perfectly located! Spacious room, very comfortable bed, good breakfast with plenty dishes to choose from.

Unfortunately, our neighbours were very noisy and we could hear them all the time.

    9IulianaPosted on: 4-24-2025

Spa is the highlight of this hotel.

Rooms are not phonically isolated and we could hear the noise from the street. Being the main street, with all the bars and nightlife, it was pretty uncomfortable at late hours.

Loved the receptionist who was always super polite and very accommodating. Loved the pool area and I loved how easy it was to get to the room and to the hotel area as well.

We had to listen to noisy neighbours in room 807 for three nights in a row, banging and screeching up to 3am. Forced to listen to them having loud sex as well and also going to the toilet. I was shocked at how thin the walls were despite it being a four star hotel. They also had the tv blearing from 10pm to 3am. They were always drunk and would bang the doors as well. I also didn’t like how the temperate in the shower didn’t stay consistent and would go from super hot to cold and back to super hot again. Also, we were not told the third bed would be a sofa bed, the description on the advert says three beds so we assumed it would be three single beds, not two single beds and one pull out bed, it would have been good to know this before hand. And lastly, the staff in the roof bar restaurant, I think it’s called the teerum? Were super rude. I had to wait 40 mins for a sandwhich. Everyone else at my table got their meals and were finished before my sandwich arrived. Those meals were large enough meals too. I also ordered a coffee and bag of chips and it was given to someone else. When I complained the staff had the audacity to get angry at me? Then charged me for said coffee and chips. Anytime I asked about the sandwhich they just shrugged. No apology or anything when it eventually arrived and it was literally thrown at me. Never had I met such rude staff and I did not go back there for the duration of my stay. The food could be better in the kitchen during dinner. It’s open buffet and it’s the same thing everyday. Also, it took the cleaning staff three days to change the bed sheets despite room service coming in everyday and making the beds. There was a stain on one of the beds when we for there and that’s how we noticed the sheers were not changed. Also, the beach towel that’s rented does not be changed as promised either. Also still waiting to have my €10 deposit refunded for that as well.

Overall good. Good breakfast & spa facilities

The room smelt very musty upon entering. I also smelt a strange strong smell half way through the night which woke me up! This was really unpleasant

Excellent staff, spacious room, very good breakfast.

Perfect place, good location fantastic breakfast. The only drawback being a rather big gap between the floor and the entrance door, letting cold air in (early March). The fancoil was good enough to heat up the room though. Will visit again in Autumn.

Very good modern facilities and excellent Spa and breakfast selection

Maybe the restaurant and bar could have opened reduced hours with so many places shut in winter

    8MarionPosted on: 12-8-2024

Location good. Breakfast: The bacon was cold and looked like it had been there a long time. Also I would prefer filtered coffee rather than the machine coffee. Receptionist was very helpful.

Machine coffee and Luke warm cooked breakfast.
