St Lucia Lodge

The staff is very welcoming

I think it's not a place to visit for fun as a group of friends as there will be a noise obviously. The place it's to close to the neighbors, we had neighbors coming to warn or threaten us about the noise. We felt a bit of racism hidden in the rules of the area which I understand because the way I see it the area belongs to the certain group of race.

The staff is very polite and kind.

The bedding looked unhygienic, The rooms are of older style. The toilet seat was loose. The experience of the room was unhygienic.

Parking was nice and it was 24hr security. Staff was very friendly and all the toiletries where incl. Rooms were small but well equipped. Fridge was cold when we got there and aircon was working fine.

Too much noise, people yapping like they are in the jungle at 11pm and later. Breakfast supposed to be incl but when i went there they tell me that is not, but i guess this is Booking.com fault. It is one of the perks for lvl3 Genius but they will screw you if they can. Internet was garbage and TV was just 6-7 free garbage channels.

Disappointed

there was a smell of mould in the room and the carpet in the passage and elsewhere need replacing as it adds to the smell.

The location was within walking distance to the main road, shops, restaurants. Rooms were clean. Staff were helpful.

The communal kitchen. This area needs a lot of TLC. Staff should do a scrub down of the utensils, floors, etc atleast once a week. The receptionist at the main lodge needs to be more friendly...wear a smile.

Twin Beds? not comfortable if you are a couple. facilities could be better. communal kitchen needs some upgrade.

Upgraded us from the St lucia lodge to hippo lodge which we weren't happy about but really weren't given a choice as hotel shut apparently but in the end we had a really good time at hippo lodge .reception staff was brilliant and made sure our stay and requests for a safari trip were made a reality

Pool wasn't clean and full of leaves the 2 days we were there but we still swam as too hot

The cleanliness of the entire place was good

The shower leaked so bad that the entire flat we stayed at was under water when someone showered. The guy outside guarding the cars takes bribes from everyone who wants to “reserve” a parking for themselves, making parking very difficult for other people also paying to stay there.

The receptionist was very willing to assist to move me to a different room after I complained about the smoke smell.

Parking, although fine, is not enclosed.

The lodge exceeded my expectations. The rooms off the pool are so tranquil and relaxing. Staff were amazing and rooms were surprisingly fitted with an equipped mini kitchen. There was absolutely nothing lacking. Was also brilliant that you could walk to everything - so no need to drive your car around. We will absolutely be back, for longer next time. Oh, and you must book your hippo and croc cruise with them - cheaper than all the other booking facilities.

The Location was good, Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is what you pay for

The Wifi is terrible, and the tv is so small and the channels are limited

Location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms.

No meaningful TV channels - no news or sport channel. Wifi reception was poor to non - existent. We survived as we had sufficient data, but could have been an irritation.

The air con

The shed kitchen was a joke everything was dirty nothing was washed your food was not secure everyday there was stuck missing from our packaging in the freezer there was no cutlery always dirty and when you went to go and make something to eat the whole kitchen was just full of other people people up color we had no respect for anything or anyone the noises at night after the 10:00 curfew was none existed as people were coming and going as they please making as much noise as possible even the security guard which was a total waste of time could not control them I feel that this whole experience was one that does not warrant me to go back to St Lucia again having being one of my favorite holiday destinations I will not be returning to Saint Lucia not anytime soon seeing that we have a time share in the same vicinity thank you Saint Lucia lodge for ruining my whole December break booking.com even manage to mess up our accommodation details having us to leave a day early totally disgusted the whole situation

The staff washed our car without us asking.

There are no fridges, just one communal fridge.The hotel hasn't been maintained in years.They display rules everywhere that nobody follows. Music was playing all night long with children screaming and playing until the early hours of the morning.People smoked in their rooms constantly despite the "No Smoking" signs on every door.The linen and pillows had an awful smell and were old and lumpy. The beds are way past their use date. Our pillows did not have covers, they were raw pillows.We got given dirty towels, asked for fresh ones, and were told that there were none left. The following day, they took our towels and didn't replace them at all. We ended up buying our own pillows and towels.The staff just sit on their chair and do very little, claiming there is no rule breaking while music echoes in the background.They display awards on their wall that are clearly old and out of date.

1.Unprofessional receptionist and housekeepers-they are treating their guest unequal 2.the room is too small than the rate we paid3.The pillows were smelling like were sweated by someone else

Nice location and decent facilities.

Staff were quick to remind us that checkout time is 10am to the extent that room doors were knocked on at 09:00 waking guests up to vacate their rooms. This is not hospitality, seems more like a military camp to make sure guests are turned over and moved along. Shocking way of treating guests, pay and now get out.
