- The hotel was very central and beautiful! It had a very nice bed with great pillows, air conditioning, beautiful big breakfast, beautiful pool, great standards and friendly, helpful staff! Great experience!
- Everything was very nice, good service and location good breakfast also.
- The service and amenities were first class and the cleanliness was also amazing. The breakfast buffet was also very impressive.
Cons -
- There is actually nothing I can recall that I didn't like.
- Sad that the pool was closed as for English guests it was easily hot enough for swimming.
- Our room had a window with shutters that could not open more than 10 cm because of some repairs happening outside the building. Even during the day the room was very dark. Such a pitty for such a high price that we paid....!

The village of Minori is beatiful and near to Amalfi and Positano. The whole decor of the Hotel was beautiful and authentic italian. The elder gentleman at the Restaurant, was very sweet and attentive.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is so accommodating and friendly. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious! So many options for breakfast and lots of delicious desserts. The location is perfect. Very easy to navigate to other parts of the Amalfi coasts for day excursions.
Nothing all was great.
Lovely traditional furnished hotel. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Additional charge for spa. Quite pricey. Solarium not available.
Lovely reception staff
Dated and basic bathroom, very poor breakfast and grumpy wait staff.
Rooms were large and clean. Minori, as the name says, it’s very small. So, likely this is the best hotel around, but it needs some service improvements. Overall we enjoyed
Pool had to book and they offered 2 time slots, 10 to 12 or 14 to 18. It looks they close the pool for their siesta too?Staffing was very grumpy, more than the average for Italy. The village was full and there was loads of work for them to doBreakfast is very simple compared to the room rates you pay
The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choices. The pool was ideal and their booking system works really well to create a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was always super accommodating and super attentive to my family!
Amazing customer service! Incredible breakfast included. Pool and large lounge area allowed easy interaction with other guests. Hotel was beautifully appointed and maintained.
Nothing!
Bed was comfortable
Room was too small for three, staff were helpful in offering another room, but the rooms were still the same just with extra beds. We asked to cancel as we had only just reserved the room a couple hours before arrival and were forced to pay 350€ for a cancelation. Which forced us to stay 1 night with no room for negotiation on cancelation fees.Shower was not suitable for a regular size person.
The Villa Romana Hotel & Spa is centrally located in Minori, providing easy access to everything you might need. Parking, though costing 20 euros per night, is very convenient. The hotel itself is nice and clean, and while the rooms are somewhat small, it was not a significant issue for us. The breakfast offered is rich and delicious, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
On our first night, our neighbors were quite noisy. However, the hotel staff promptly changed our room the next morning. The noise isolation could be improved, but this was the only disadvantage we encountered.
The common area/lobby lounge is a great place to gather, interact with others which is parti ularly important in such a small town. The space was comfortable, attractive. The location was convenient, the front desk and restaurant staff were helpful
We found that for 2 people, with a reasonable amount of luggage there wasn't enough drawer, closet or surface space. Some minor maintenance issues, light bulbs in the staircase, water containment when showering but generally good
Location was great
We kept having seer smell in the room for two days. Had to call facilities two days on a row. Really disgusting
A great decision to stay is minori, since it is a small city, with a beautiful beach and restaurants. Ideal for doing everything on foot. The important thing is that it does not have ups and downs like Amalfi, Positano, etc.The hotel is a very comfortable 4-star hotel, with an excellent breakfast and good facilities. The staff is quite irritable, especially waiters and receptionists! They could be much nicer!
The shower, as in all the comments, works poorly, and they never came to fix it during our entire 4-night stay. The hotel parking lot is about 15 blocks away, it has valet parking, but to go look for some objects I had to wait several hours for someone to take me in the hotel car and then return me.The pool is on an appointment basis... it is taken out the day before and you can choose in the morning or afternoon, the system is quite cumbersome especially taking into account the excursions. The waiters are quite bad-tempered, they get angry at anything, especially with children! And the receptionists are terrifying... we spent 1 hour and a half checking out because I didn't want to divide the cost of the stay between 2 credit cards, or make 2 charges with the same card. After exhausting all possibilities and at our insistence (already loud) they agreed to collect the amount in 2 parts and in 1 minute everything was solved, but we lost almost 2 hours, when the problem was with their device to charge the stay with foreign cards!
The location of the property was good, local to the beach and restaurants
The staff did not tell us breakfast was included in the price. & when my wife asked about the breakfast she proceeded to tell us it was not included in the price paid. After reviewing our booking, we saw breakfast was included which I pointed out to the clerk, she then told us breakfast was closed. Terrible service
Fab location easy to find snd shirt walk from ferry
Noisy rooms can hear neighbours having shower playing music etc
Nice hotel, great location
Pool was small and had to book slots - not enough room for the number of guestswould say its not really geared up as a family hotel
The location is absolutely perfect, the hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing with lots of options. The rooms were plenty spacious with very comfortable beds and pillows.
We had problems with our electrics, the lights/air con kept tripping and it took a few days for them to get someone out. Maintenance staff don’t speak English so it was hard to describe to them what the problem was.
restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were lovely. outdoor pool well maintained and staff were friendly
Rooms facing the road with alot of traffic noise despite closing windows and shutters -made sleeping difficult - ? consider glazed windows to decrease noise
