Katerina Palace Hotel

While we were sleeping, the sewer backed up and flooded our room with raw sewage. I had to step out of the room barefoot in the “POOP WATER” which was one of the most disgusting and traumatizing experiences of my lifeAll of our luggage, backpacks, shoes, and belongings on the floor were soaked in contaminated water. I reported it to the staff. When I asked where we could wash our clothes, they said the hotel had no laundry service and suggested I go to a self-service laundromat five minutes away. I then asked if the hotel would cover the cost. Only after I brought that up, they agree to wash our clothes. If I hadn’t asked, they would have made us deal with everything on our own.However, what they called “assistance” was minimal. Even though my luggage was contaminated with sewage (black water) and required proper sanitation, they simply handed me a towel and spray and told me to clean it myself :))) When our clothes were returned, some were still wet, and some items were stained or damaged beyond use. Both of my backpacks are now ruined and must be thrown away.We lost an entire day cleaning our belongings and moving rooms with no help from the staff and had to cancel our planned tours, costing us both time and money. Despite the severity of the incident and the fact that our vacation was ruined, the hotel refused to offer any compensation or refund. They claimed they “offered an alternative room and free laundry,” but in reality, we had to relocate our belongings ourselves, and the solution they provided was completely inadequate.It is disgusting to think that we had to walk barefoot through sewage, wear clothes that had human waste on them, and throw away personal belongings, all with zero real support or accountability from this hotel. This experience caused financial loss, emotional distress, and completely ruined our vacation.I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Their handling of this health hazard was unprofessional, dismissive, and unacceptable

Clean, friendly staff, swim pool, lots of restaurants nearby. Each room has balcony. The hotel has modern design in interior. Taxi from hotel to city center 12 eu is a few mins away.

No bottle water in the room. Washroom water sink is too shallow, water is easy to splash.

The hotel was overall excellent. Fantastic hot, powerful shower. Super comfy bed. Breakfast had super selection of warm and cold choices. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Too much Eminem music in pool bar!

We only spent one night waiting for another accommodation but it was a very nice hotel. Had the pool outside our balcony so started our day with a nice morning swim.

Hotel looks great and it has a good location on the island and staff is friendly. Room was cleaned daily.

We are very happy that we had our honeymoon in Katerina Palace. Thank you for very beautiful preparation of the apartment! It was a big surprise for us :). Definetely would recommend If you want a good base for further travelling, well connected, many attractions in the area. Excellent rooms, very spacious, excellent staff, great pool and very central!

The bar wasn’t open and it was such great deco, it would have been nice to sit in air conditioning there.

We booked for a week with TUI and extended our stay by one night with booking.com to match our flights better. The team were really accommodating, we had a great stay, and we feel it is a great hotel for families.

We had such an amazing stay at this special Hotel. Everything was perfect (from the beginning until the end). The room had an incredible view and we felt so comfortable. They also prepared a thoughtful surprise for our 1st anniversary which we really appreciated it. A special thank you to Katerina, which we had the pleasure to meet in person and made our stay even better. Thank you to all staff as well, including the housekeeping, front desk and F&B team. Location was good.

Poor hotel. Common areas were disappointing, definitely not a good value for money. Coffee and water in breakfast were very bad. Buffet was poor and the food quality horrible for a 4 star. The eggs were not fresh! And milk was kept outside with the 30° heat, I smelled it and unfortunately the milk was expired. Service staff were nice and polite. To add finally, there was not a single bottle of water in the room, as an amenitie. It is a 4 star hotel but we felt it was a 2 star. I have been in many 4 star hotels and they all give you at least water in the minibar which you can have for free. When I asked the receptionist why I don’t have water in the room she just told me that in any hotel they put water in the room, that she never saw that before. For the other nights we stayed in another hotel (again 4 star), and guess what I found in the minibar…. 2 beautiful bottles of water. In general not worth the money for this hotel.

Our second stay, for the second year in a row. Nicely renovated, quiet room.

It is a shame while having a limited parking for the guests, having a manager forbidding us to park at a specific part of the space saying “find to park somewhere else” at 6am, when there was no “no parking” sign for two days in a row and then coming back to see a staff member’s car parked at the exact same spot….

Almost everything! Perfectly located. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Reception staff were very helpful at all hours of the day. Lovely pool.

View from the balcony was a shame. Mentioned it would be ‘Mountain View’ but all we could see were trees.Unfortunately, one event changed my opinion on our stay. I left some AirPods in the room at check-out and came back 30 minutes after to retrieve them, only to be told they weren’t in the room. Later, they had moved to another location. Strange as I am 100% sure they were in the room when I left.

The location is perfect, with easy access to restaurants and bars.

The staff was not very helpful and the check-in didn´t make us feel welcome.

The double ensuite room was fabulous - nice design and very comfortable. Great A/C and hands down the best mattress I have ever slept on! Nice pool bar with tasty food and fair prices, good breakfast. Staff very welcoming!

Noise coming from a carwash next door (water pumps or something), some nights a bit noisy from the neighboring hotels/restaurants. There wasn’t enough sunbeds for all - guests leaving their towels on them and not using the sunbeds for half the day. Argassi as an area was a bit disappointing - it is a busy little town without a proper beach or promenade.

room has moisture, and backyard there was car wash at 8 in the morning it starts work it was not quite in the room. there is no free water coffee or tea.

We liked the area of the hotel it is very central to all the bars and restaurants.The hotel was nice and very clean,the beds were comfortable and the shower was good and the staff were all very courteous.

We booked the standard twin room from the site, and to be fair, we were offered an upgrade before we went and didn't accept it as the photos and reviews were good on the site. However, when we arrived, we found out there was the main hotel and 3/4 other blocks of rooms away from the main hotel we were put in block 4. The room was nothing like what was shown on the Web site it was old-fashioned and a little drab if Im honest, so I rang reception and asked for a room nearer the main hotel which they offered me for and extra €10 pp per night.The room was better and nearer the dining room and reception, but there was no tv remote control to turn the TV on with and it took me 3 days to get this, not that it was any use there was only one english channel on it and we were out most of the day and evening.The safe didn't work had to call maintenance.The air conditioning kept going off. The breakfast room was way too small for the number of guests,tables are way too near each other,there was an ok choice of breakfast but the hot breakfast was put under lights and cold,no matter what time you went to the dining room it was cold and plastic looking so we stuck to fruit.The pool looked nice, but to be honest, we went out on excursions and on the free bus to Banana Beach, which is absolutely beautiful.A bicardi a malibu and a bottle of coke was €18.30 at the beach bar.But drink in the bars was also expensive as were taxis, a meal out was absolutely excellent and good value big servings we didn't have a bad meal out.

We stayed for only one night, but the hotel is really beautiful: big room, very good breakfast and a very nice pool area. And with all this in mind: very affordable!!

Parking was a disaster. Argassi is a very touristic little village, glad we only stayed there for 1 night...
