Contessa Hotel

We rented two rooms, one with sea and pool views and the other with views of surrounding places. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the bed was comfortable too. We had a rich, varied breakfast in the restaurant on the upper floor, from here too, there is a wonderful view of the sea.The hotel has a large swimming pool with sun loungers, parasols and you can spend whole days there if you don't want to go on a trip to the island. Attentive service, nice, demanding environment.

Perfect holiday destination, comfortable, big rooms, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, great pool and bar, real relaxation, nice staff. We were completely satisfied with everything, we will return.

Breakfast a bit poor. Coffee quality low, fruits nor ripe enough. Egg dishes not very good. What made the moment is the terrace where breakfast can be eaten.

Position is near the centre of Argassi; swimming is very good, the room always cleaned (every day) and well structured. Breakfast full of typical products and other beautiful things. The dinner organized by the hotel (Greek night, Italian night, ecc) are full of emotions and a plus that nobody has.

Breakfast was from 7 to 10, but last day we came by 7.40 and almost the products were still missing (better tell that breakfast is from 8 to 10 ?). Parking is quite small, but it is not difficult to find places on the road. Swimming pool was a bit humid and wetty all around.

Clean, modern, attractive decor, great breakfast, good location. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Good air con and massive, very comfy bed.

The shower room was tiny and the drain of the shower clogged or didn’t drain properly so tended to flood the bathroom. Opportunities to provide storage were missed - bedside tables without shelves or drawers, console table without storage, so there was a little less storage than necessary.We chose to be at the back of the building so it would be quiet but our room was off the main landing so noisy at night and there is a sofa there which even encourages people to stop for a chat in the middle of the night. Luckily we were out late apart from the first night so it only really bothered us that first night.

The location was good. There were many shops nearby.

The food was not good and limited. I found insects on the foods and I informed the personals about it. The staff who works on the pool bar were not friendly in compare to those who were working at the reception.

Location and staff were lovely. Always helpful and cheery.

The 3 bed house was just what we needed however the beds were uncomfortable compared to ours at home and the air con was hit and miss. Not major gripes.

There are a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel.It is really close to the airport.The room was cleanThe personal of the hotel was very kind.The breakfast was very good and every day was somthing new in the menu.

There is no beach near the hotel. I think that this is the only downside.

The hotels location is actually ok. Close to restaurants. But there are many hotels w similar quality.

There are plenty high ratings. İ think given the clientele the expectations must not be very high....The water running has a smell of sewer. We made sure to use bottled water to brush teeth etc. Front desk reccomended the same :( Rooms are very noisy. Lights and the toilet fan did not work, had to be fixed. Refrigirater was making loud noise as well had to be fixed.Because of these factors actually could not sleep the fist night of stay.Peoples noises in the corridor and next door you can hear it immediately. So no sound insulation for sure. Good luck sleeping. They don't give you spare key, claiming for security reasons! But I believe it is to avoid the use of electricity when you are not in the room. Lastly there is only parking for 6 cars or so.. So they don't care whether you can park or not somewhere on the street. Overall it was not a good experience. Hotel needs to be shaken up and be managed properly!!

Really good location with a lot of shops nd restaurants nearby. Nice and quiet. Great view from breakfast balcony. Really good and varied breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, tidy and modern

Pool area is nice, covered by trees and surrounded by green. Also, the staff is really nice and accommodating:

The walls of the the rooms are very thin which means you can hear everything going on in the halls outside your room and in the neighbours’ rooms. Also, the sheet quality and mattress cover could be much better.

Clean, modern and close to the beach and city life

All was fine, hospitality of the staff was amazing. Only one thing I personally would change - pillows ;)

I had a lovely balcony room. The staff were very helpful and the view from Breakfast was stunning.

I think the location of the accommodation is the best possible in Zakynthos, of course it depends on who has what needs. In Argasi,, everything is close, restaurants, shops, etc.The hotel is very cozy, very comfortable, the pool, the restaurant are very demanding, the breakfast is perfect, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The staff is very helpful, everyone is kind.

The room was very dated, the air conditioning was not adjustable, we had no power in our room for over three hours 3 hours, the hotel is not very child friendly, the playground is not suited to under 3’s and was muddy and slippy. Did not like the fact you had to pay for cushions on the sun beds

The cleaning service was impeccable, the pool was nice and the pool bar was very good, excellent sea view from the restaurant. Nice place for families.

Extra cost for beds to the pool, poor traditional greek food for breakfast. Poor wifi.

Nice pool area, clean room, good breakfast buffet selection. All the staff I encounter from cleaners, reception, breakfast to bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
