Excellent staff, really helpful & friendly. The food at breakfast was lovely & the atmosphere was great around the whole place. The exterior is really well kept.

It is a bit dated but it’s really charming & so clean it doesn’t matter at all.

Big bedrooms, TV with lots of channels. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and nice lunch menu to choose from. Close to beach, bus stop and short walk to the marina. Due to the older clientele it’s very chilled and quiet.

The furniture is very dated and really needs an update. No free drinking water available in rooms. Only one bottle provided one first day then had to buy the rest from the bar. We feel fresh drinking water should be available daily for free for guests in the bedrooms.

Great location close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Entertainment was good in the evening and drinks prices reasonable. lady on reception gave me daughter a room next door to myself and husband which we appreciated very much

The way you had to bring your room card for breakfast each morning or go back for it. People had best tables reserved each morning so far away ones at the back were only available. Bit old fashioned way of running the breakfast plus the hotel was quite old fashioned. It was more suited to over 60s which I already knew about and suited us as we are within that age group. Entertainment started 9.30 and finished at 11 then the room cleared very quickly.

It was a good location, directly on the beach, the food was good, the music was good too, the people were nice.

The cleaning in the room could be better, there was no shampoo and conditioner, the beach towels were not changed during the 7 days we spent there. The wifi was very poor and the pool should have been warmer, for september it was really cold.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a variety of food on offer. I messaged ahead to ensure they could cater for my husband who is Celiac. Most days this was okay, but on one occasion they slipped up big time, with no allergy label on the pasta. I queried it with kitchen staff and they confirmed the dish did contain gluten (you can have gf pasta, hence my query) this made my husband extremely wary that the food he had been eating and choosing may have contained gluten. They have a small outdoor pool with sun loungers and the rule is no reserved beds (which is great) if a towel remains on a bed unattended for 30 mins you are informed to remove the towel.The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom has shower gel (no shampoo or other toiletries other than a small bar of soap) there is a hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, safe and mini fridge which has a bottle of water left for us (don't drink the tap water it is vile!)

In the restaurant you are to reserve a table which, in theory, is yours for the duration of your stay. This system didn't work for us, the first few days it seemed okay, but we came to our table one morning another couple were sitting there (the RESERVADO label had been removed) we spoke to Renata the restaurant manager who had no idea why this had been removed. We chose another table and asked for this to be reserved for the rest of our stay. The next 2 days the table has been used prior to our attendance in the restaurant and therefore hadn't been made up for our reservation. I know it seems a 'picky' thing to mention, but why have a reservation system if you allow others to take the table?We also felt like we were the youngest guests in the hotel(I'm 53), predominantly the age range I would say is over 70 and sitting in the lounge area after dinner waiting for the act to come on the stage, felt like we were sitting in a nursing home. We only stayed to finish our drinks as the act was awful (Freddy Mercury sing-a- like).The location of the hotel is NOT Cala d'Or, it is Cala Egos - a totally different resort. Cala d'Or can be reached by bus or taxi. To walk is around 40 mins.The beach is a couple of minutes walk down a little hill to the cove. It is small, you can book beds and parasols at reception and save yourself a couple of euros. The beds are not maintained, many were broken and we arrived one day and there were literally 2 beds left, so beware about booking and paying at the hotel for them as you may arrive and there aren't any left!The hotel feels a little dated, lots of brown furniture and 'chinzy' fabrics. It's rated 4 stars, I'd say 2-3 at best having stayed at much more modern hotels with only a 3 star rating.One other thing that 'urked' me, it was our Pearl Wedding Anniversary and I advised the hotel of this ahead of our visit.

Friendly staff, very close to the marina, staff accommodated us very well since we had a late flight they allowed us to use a room in the hotel to change and shower

Parts of the hotel was quite dated, entertainment downstairs goes on until midnight which can be heard from upstairs

Location is great for the nearby shops and beach across the road.Standard room a good size with fridge which is great addition and beach towels provided for use too.Plenty of sunbeds and space to set up in garden with some shady areas.Hotel was clean throughout and rooms serviced daily.Breakfast buffet very good with lots of options.

Room was at the back of hotel with view of busy road which was a bit noisy during the day. Unable to have a late checkout as no rooms available.

The food and the fact that the neighbours above us were very noisy and constantly bothering us, we asked the ladies at the reception to solve this problem, but nothing has changed

It could do with a refit it is very dated for a four star hotel it is looking very tired , the hair dryer in our room was hanging off the wall, some buttons on the safe did not work,

The staff were allFriendly and helpful. The room was clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was peaceful, but there were bars and restaurants within walking distance.The beach was close by.The beach club was really lovely.

There was a charge to replace the swimming towels if you wanted them changed before 7 days. Offer and yes was not served to tables for breakfast and charged after evening meal. Gluten free bread had to be requested rather than out as a choice,The hotel was dated in areas.

The hotel appears past its peak and is in need of modernisation. More worrying is the poor cleaning service. In the 4 days of my stay, the corridor carpet didn't seem to have been vacuumed once. The toilet dripped constantly. This is not a 4 star establishment.

The room was a great size with a great size wardrobe and balcony. The safe was also a great size which could fit a laptop which is great for those needing to keep in contact with work. The TV in the room had several English channels so I was able to keep up to date with the news from home. The first floor solarium was a great substitution as I was unable to get down to the pool due to the steps Breakfast was great plenty of choice.

To get to the pool or garden you had to go down steps which was not good for anyone with mobility issues.I only have two negatives one was the pool and the second was my balcony did not get any sun at all.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of Cala D'or which was what we were looking for, the breakfast had a nice variety and it was good, also we ended up forgetting some personal items and the staff were very helpful.

Most of the hotel guests are senior adults, which for 20 somethings travelling can be a bit disappointing, I think it could have been made clearer that the clientele is on the older side. The hotel looks a bit old as well and the room had a musty smell. In our room the AC was constantly making noises and the toilet had water running all the time which at night the noise was a bit unbearable.

Amazing staff, great location, close to the beach, little village with restaurants and shops near enough, 3 minutes walk.

Bed and pillows are not so comfy. Aged building, would help so renovation.

The stuff was nice

For a four star hotel the breakfast was really poor.Our door to the room was super hard to open because it was stuck. The toilet was running all the time, so falling asleep sometimes was hard. There is not one drink dispenser on the property, you have to buy water! The interior and the layout of the room were very old fashion. The towels had stains everywhere and room was super moist the bed sheets, the floor everything, we tried to get it out but with no luck.
