Family hotel in Anacapri. Really appreciated the free shuttle from the port. Lovely hosts!

Good breakfast, free pick up service from ferry terminal and walking distance to old town and bus station.

The bathroom gets very wet after shower as the shower door couldn't close probably. The wall was too thin to prevent noise from next room.

Hotel Carmencita is a truly charming place. Ancient vases decorating the staircase is a big plus for all art admirers. I loved very helpful and friendly staff, pick Up from the port in Capri by the driver who took me straight to the hotel. I got very nice room with lovely balony overlooking the pool (in October was no water unfortunately). I also appreciated delicious breakfast, the warm croissant I got was the most tasty croissant I ever had (deliciozo!). Just around the corner is a bus stop from which you can easily reach all tourist places. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

I thought the swimming pool will be available but probably I just didn't read catefully the schedule, when IT is open.

Good location, close to historic centre, near bus stops. We had room no. 31 not în the hotel but near the swimming pool, an apartament with two rooms and one shared bathroom, extra large beds.

A great hotel in Anacapri, just a couple of minutes walk into town. The staff were really helpful, even providing a short orienteering session when we arrived and the welcome drink was really appreciated. The room was a good size and had great views of the pool on one side and the sea on the other. Also, as Anacapri can be a pain to get to for first time visitors with luggage, the free shuttle pick up from Marina Grande was a fantastic addition to the service.

Very close to the bus station of Anacapri and the main street. Convenient price, also Anacapri is already way cheaper than Capri. The staff was great. Overall a pleasant stay, would recomend.

Location was great, near to Anacapri center. Breakfast was enough. The receptionist was very helpful.

Room and the whole hotel was out-fashioned. There was lack of voice resistance in the hotel, so you can hear noices from other rooms. Lights in the room makes you feel like in an hospital room. Would be better if they change them with sun-light color.

The Hotel is old school and simple, but really nice.The location is perfect to walk around Anacapri and it has buses to anywhere like 2 mins walk.The man at the pool bar was amazing.

Breakfast was not great. Most of the things were sugar and the Gentleman serving it, although he was trying to be nice, he was a bit too intense and structured. He was trying to even control how would you put your plate on your trail.The hotel is a bit old. Showers are tiny and maintenance in general needs improving.They need to improve the personnel attitude in general ( except for the man at the pool bar which was great ).

Location was brilliant right in the centre of Anacapri. The shuttle bus service was excellent. The guy on reception his recommendations were great and the little surprise in the room as we were on honeymoon was lovely ?

We stayed at this property for 3 nights, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and tidy rooms cleaned daily we were given fresh towels daily as well, breakfast was excellent croissants, fruit, yogurt, various other cakes pastries etc The pool was great plus the small bar served food and drinks. The location great, bus stops in both directions just a few metres away but only a few minutes walk to Ana Capri main square.

Hotel Carmencita is a charming family owned hotel in Anacpari. I opted to stay there vs Capri and am so happy with the choice. I had read Anacapri was a lot quieter and it was def more my vibe. They send loads of emails to let you know about the shuttle option before arriving which was absolutely necessary with the hysteria upon entering on Capri and I also opted to use this to go back to the port for 20 euros. The buses are easy and accessible nearby to get to other parts of the island. The pool is nice. Walls are a little thin and the hotel has charm but a little outdated. I recommend staying here if you are looking for most affordable.

Excellent staff - Fabrizio & Rosa with colleagues. The room had a newly renovated bathroom - very nice. Also the breakfast was good with personal service and many different choices. A plus also for the offering of shuttle service from and to Marina Grande, Capri's port of debarkation.
