Hotel San Michele

The facade and the pool were nice. The breakfast was good.

We paid $60 in taxi fees we did not need to because the hotel didn¿t bother telling us about the shuttle to the port and was rude when we asked if we could ride it back. The actual linens on the bed were scuzzy and seemed like they were 10 years old.

The view was amazing and the staff was very nice

Beautiful location with amazing view and convenient walk to shopping area and restaurants. Quick ride from the ferry.Room was clean and comfortable and quiet at night.Love the old charm of the hotel and breakfast was great with many options.Pool area nice and clean with a patio to order lunch very affordably priced.I would come back and stay here and highly recommend it.

A ramp to get your luggage in at the entrance. I used the side entrance opposite the pool where you had no stairs.

A bit of a walk to bus stop, and sidewalk was under construction so we had to walk on road part of way there.

I booked a room at Hotel San Michel through Booking.com, where it was stated that the room had a balcony, but that was not the case. The room 302 only had a small window. It was also very tiny; the photo I uploaded was taken with a wide-angle lens because otherwise, almost nothing would fit in the frame.The room was located right next to the reception, so the noise was constant. Between the conversations of people gathering in the hall and the voices at the front desk, it was quite difficult to rest.Overall, the room does not match the standard of a four-star hotel, nor the photos or description shown online, and certainly not the price I paid.

The staff is really nice, Mrs. Andrea, Bruno and Antonio provide all the information that we asked. The view from our room is magnificent, everything is perfect.

Location! Location! Outstanding views!

They let some group have a private party on the property & they ended up on the patio outside of our room & they were lighting fireworks & obnoxiously loud! I did complain but they didn't break up right away.

Bad communication. I tried reaching them 3 days before my arrival to see about the complimentary shuttle from the port. They did not respond any of my 3 messages. When I arrived I called 3 times from the port, no answer. After waiting 1.5 hours we ended paying a cab for 30 euros. When I told the front desk what happened they did not care. Would not stay there again. Also, the sink was clogged.

So much to like as the the hotel was beautiful inside and out! The views from our room were stunning!! Customer service was great! Perfect location!

Communication for pick up from the harbor was difficult but we figured it out.

The hotel has old world charm, delicious meals, and exceptional service. The view from the hotel is spectacular. It is located a short walk from the charming town of Anacapri, which provides a lovely time.

My only disappointment was that we had to leave at the end of our stay.

AC unit was dripping inside the room even if it was off. However, this was just a minor issue. Everything else was great.

Beautiful location, obviously was a grand hotel at one point! Views are spectacular. Easy walk into Anacapri, which was wonderful. Chairlift a must do! Love that they come get you from ferry port with skilled driver. Pool is nice extra. Also had great recommendation for dinner from the 1 helpful receptionist, thank you!

Our stay at Hotel San Michele in Anacapri was unforgettable. The view is absolutely mesmerizing – from the terraces and many of the rooms you can admire breathtaking panoramas that truly capture the magic of Capri. The hotel has a charming, classic style with plenty of character, and the atmosphere is both peaceful and relaxing. Staff were welcoming and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Amazing view, super clean , very comfortable, great staff . And the breakfast was outstanding. If I come back, I will for sure. Stay there again.
