The room

The service. The breakfast service in special was NOT what we expected. The restaurant is a third party restaurant not in line with the hotel level.

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Morro de São Paulo! We loved being a little bit away from the hectic town center, just a short walk along the beach to get back to the hotel, but easy to access many restaurants and stores when we wanted to go into town. There was a festival happening in town, but at the hotel it was perfectly quiet and peaceful! There's also a car service to take you into town but we usually just walked except when arriving and leaving with our bags - it's maybe a 10 min walk along the beach! The restaurant was decent, the staff was incredible and we loved the bartenders at the swim up pool! You're also right on the beach, so you can walk out and grab a drink from the floating bars in the ocean, relax by the pool, or sit in a hammock and read. The hotel also set us up with a local guide to take us around the island to see the other beaches. A dream vacay! I wish we'd had more time.

The breakfast buffet setup wasn't my favorite. In addition the menu, from which you can order tapioca, omelettes, and other items made to order, there was also a "buffet" area, but it was all behind glass, and a staff member plated each item for you. The selection was fairly limited in the buffet area, but the made to order was nice!

The room is spacious with the most comfortable bed. Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful with an amazing pool right in front of the beach.

Bathrooms are big but could do with a renovation. While breakfast is amazing, dinner at the restaurant could be improved.

The rooms are great! Very big and clean and in the evening the hotel sends someone to open the bed, which is just perfect. The breakfast is really good and has a lot of variety and so are the facilities of the hotel (there's gym, massages, tennis court ...)

It takes a while to get your food or drinks. We waited 25min for 2 sandwiches once. Also, the lighting in our room could be improved. During the day, we just opened the window and problem solved, but at night that was not possible

Nice rooms and facilities. Staff did accommodate when I requested a refund as had to leave early for medical reasons

Difficult for English speakers as none of the staff spoke English! Meant to have a shuttle transfer but waited over 90 mins from agreed time for mine with no communication from hotel which didn’t feel like a 4* service

The whole place is super well kept and beautiful. Simple and beautiful (what we want in a beach location).Breakfast was FANTASTIC.

The bureaucracy of having to book use of gym and not being able to self serve breakfast (though not terrible).

Beautiful property located right on the beach. The facilities were great. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

The rooms whilst comfortable felt a little bland, could add some more decoration to make it more comfortable/cosy.

The breakfast is incredible and complete, the location is exceptional is you are to lazy or tired to go to the main part of the town on the beach line, the hotel provides transportation, used the restaurant twice and it was great.

Everything was above expatiation, the people, the place, the security the rides, every thing was wonderful, every day is diferente then the other. The tides go um and down reveling magnificent transparent pools 1 minute from the hotel.

Dreamy! Location, pool, accommodation, service, cocktails all just perfect.

The location and amenities were beautiful. The pool is gorgeous the beaches, right there are nice lounge chairs. The room was nice.

Communication prior to coming was good. Upon arrival. Communication was absolutely horrible. We waited an hour to be picked up. It should’ve taken five minutes as per our initial response we kept calling no one came to pick us up. Finally we got there and there was no reason for them taking an hour no one could explain why it took an hour then we were not compensated for that hour, knowing offered free drinks or any upgrades I had to ask for a late check out that’s all that they would give. They said the manager wouldn’t on site, that was not acceptable. Then we were allowed to change into a room and and lion lounge chairs even though I’ve been very sick on the boat and we got into a room at 6 PM and the garbage can was filled with dirty toilet paper which was unacceptable for a hotel which charges $400 a night.

Beautiful beach front posada and the property was so well kept. The grounds was beautiful.

The staff could have been a bit more friendly & attentive. The food was extremely good, but it would have been better if the menu had more variety.

The room are very spacious, very clean and very comfortable.The services are considerate, they even arrange a routine to help guests to prevent Mosquitos. They also provide a big bottle of watter for free in the mini bar.It has a third party restaurant right inside the posada which is super nice, perfect food and drink.It is 20 minutes walk from the centre, which you can access to it easily along the beach.

The only part could be improved is that the reception could be more warm to the guests.

Staff is well trained and goes the extra mile. The beach in front of the hotel is amazing, ideal for babies and kids.They provided a crib, bath tub and other facilities for babies which was really nice.

The swimming pool could be a bit cleanerI prefer an open buffer than being served everything in the breakfast, it's faster and easier

Location, ocean view and garden, breakfast and restaurant, room size, beach and pool area. All of staff is excellent and made our stay fantastic.

- The Villa is a small paradise, with a beautiful garden and in front of the best beach in the island- The rooms are very spacious, clean and offer everything needed for a pleasant stay- Good breakfast with a lot of options

- The breakfast was served at a surprisingly late time (7:30h) compared to other hotels in Brazil. The first boat to Salvador departs at 9:00, so on our check-out day we had to eat in a rush and pretty much run to the port to get it on time. Also the sun rises and sets very early in the island, so 7:30 felt a bit late if you want to make most of the sunlight. - Since most of the guests were showing up for breakfast at its open time, the orders were often a bit delayed. This was most noticeable on our checkout when we had only 30min to eat and we were the first guests to sit. During that period we were only able to get 2 tapiocas and 1 pancake
