    • Wonderful place, the staff simply couldn’t be any kinder, from a plate of sandwiches in the room for when we arrived late at night to allowing us to stay in the room until we were due to leave for a late flight back.Gorgeous room, stunning views & delicious food, both at breakfast & evening restaurant.Nice location just a stone’s throw from a lovely quaint village, with a good variety of cafes & bars, certainly no need to walk down the hill to the sea front, unless you like exercise.
    • The staff was very polite and interested in pleasing and facilitating our stay
    • Room, pool, on site restaurant

    Cons -

    • Visiting in the low season came with most restaurants, attractions a s activities closed so we depended on the resort more and they were not fully open yet.Internet was problematic and we ended up using our roaming data for most of the time. Sorry George
    • The walk up a v steep hill to our room. The format for breakfast
    • We didn't find any substantial minuses. I am giving this hotel the best quality/price ratio

I rated this hotel above my expectations. Few things where exeptional: staff care, location and the food in the hotel and in this area. October is the end of season, but hotel was on the full gear, and we just enjoyed this marvellas place.

We didn't find any substantial minuses. I am giving this hotel the best quality/price ratio

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything was amazing - from the staff, to the room, to the pool, to the restaurant, to the location!

    Nothing!

It was a beautiful property, secluded but still close to all amenities

It’s on a very big hill!

It is located in a small traditional village, but with very nice local tarvernas and also stylish terraces. Pool is nice and we had also an evening with live music and people danced and feeling really good. Breakfast well organized and tasty.

Amazing view, great food. Lavinia was simply amazing. Employee of the year!

The breakfast can be improved: food is good (apart from the juices) but it lacks variety.

    10AlinaPosted on: 6-12-2024

lovely views, great room, amazing breakfast & really tasty food on the menu!

sometimes the wifi would not work around the pool area

Super friendly staff and the owner George is always around to make sure you're having a great stay.Pool area is very relaxing and the restaurant serves delicious food.Location is perfect as it's a 5 minute walk to the village centre. We got out room upgraded which was a nice touch and the views from the hotel are lovely.

The property was lovely and modern. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool was a very good size and there was amazing views of the sea. The staff was the highlight of the show. They are spectacular, very attentive. The food at the restaurant is 10/10. It is not a far a walk into town and to the beach but have to go up hill on the way back, but not a problem the taxi is €10 back to the hotel. We would definitely go again. One to remember. Thank you Creta Blue

    Nothing :)

Beautiful boutique hotel on a hill overlooking the town below and the sea. Very quiet and relaxing. Their restaurant, Blue Moon, was outstanding. The food is delicious and the staff were very efficient and friendly. If you are a guest you can order from the menu or have a special dish prepared daily. At breakfast they bring you a description of the special dish and let them know if you would like to order it. We tried 3 meals and they were excellent, especially the pork with the mushrooms. Their Caesar salad is excellent as well.

    Nothing!

Fantastic location and the room we had was upgraded for free and it was sumptuous. We also dined at the restaurant and the food was delicious. We would definitely want to come again and thank you Lavinia for your hospitality and tips ?

The absolute highlight are the staff. Absolutely wonderful and I immediately felt part of the family, nothing is too much bother, everything is possible and always with a smile on their face. It has been many, many years since I experienced this level of customer attention. The location is stunning, with spectacular views of the coast. It is set in the village of Koutouloufari which is quaint with loads of little boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops and just 5 mins walk from the hotel. My room (106) was the furthest up you could go which was not ideal with my knee but boy does it give you a free workout! The room itself is on 2 floors and it is spacious with a gorgeous bathroom. And of course, being so high up, the views cannot be topped.

It is entirely my fault, I didn't mention my limited mobility when booking and if you too have this problem, then all the steps and hills may be an issue. George will do anything to accommodate guests so do mention your preferences! The parking situation is a bit precarious if you have to park in the "field" of stone and rubble and driving through the village for the first time is not for the faint hearted with very narrow alley ways, lots of people and cars. Beware! And my last (very minor) point: I like my tea / coffee in a mug. Not in an itsy bitsy cup which is empty after two glugs. I also feel that a hotel of this standard could provide a bona fide coffee machine, not have filtered coffee pre-prepared and kept warm in a thermos. But really, the positives FAAAAR outweigh the negatives.

Excellent choice! Loved the hotel. Very clean and modern. Gorgeous pool area and modern room with nice big bathroom. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and always helpful

There could’ve been more variety and variation in breakfast it got a bit boring after a week of the same thing

    9JaniePosted on: 9-16-2023

It was a smaller hotel so never felt too busy. Views were amazing and rooms clean, comfortable and spacious.

    Nothing really.

    10TinaPosted on: 9-5-2023

From the moment we arrived the owner and his team were friendly helpful and welcoming . A superb hotel in a superb location . Our room, the pool and the service were all exceptional!

    10NicolsPosted on: 9-4-2023

Staff were wonderful. The pool was never too busy. Nice rooms with a lovely sea view. Food in the restaurant was also of a high standard. Away from the village but easy to walk to (400m down a narrow road). Would visit again.

Getting to the hotel. The narrow road felt like it was the wrong way, and google tries to take you through a gated community prior to that! Okay, once you knew the way.
