Pros +
- Location, next to the beach. The food was testy with a good variation, all included option was nice addition. The staff was nice. Several swimming pools.
- Location was nice, staff is generally friendly and helpful (as long as you are/speak Greek). Decent variety of food at the buffet and various other restaurants included in the “all inclusive” package. Snack bar was honestly the best place to eat, shame it’s only open a few hours in the afternoon. The only good bar was the one by the reception.
- Very clean hotel. Rooms comfortable ans spacius .The staff was very helpfull polite and always with a smile
Cons -
- No activities for children, the room was not always cleaned properly. Although there were several sweampools, overall they are all relativly small with no major difference between them.
- The room was constantly ridden with mosquitoes. The staff was very obviously overworked and exhausted. A lot of the bars had one person working there, if any, during its “open” hours. The drinks were definitely watered down, but just order a double and it’s all good. Food seemed mass produced, but that makes sense for buffet style. It’s very clear the staff at Scorpion and the other restaurants nearby that are “included” in the all inclusive deal treated us like we had a disease. Would never acknowledge us, have to order two or three times to get a simple drink. 25€ per bed on the beach is insane, just bring a towel and sit on the sand. Don’t even bother making a reservation at the black pepper restaurant, the fish is good, the rest was less than mediocre. I recommend booking somewhere else and eating at any of the many amazing restaurants by the beaches. Tons of great options, decently priced, would have been cheaper and definitely better.
- Nothing really but some of the double rooms looked to have small balcony/terraces

This is an amazing hotel, clean, service great. Rooms are exceptional. Very clean and functional. Menu is very tasty and varied, great food. Value for money all inclusive. Staff is exceptional and the whole atmosphere is very comfortable. Many beaches and shops nearby.
Rooms are exceptional. Very clean, new and functional. Menu is very tasty and varied. Staff is exceptional and the whole atmosphere is really comfortable. Many beaches and shops neaby. Sport equipment is great.
The baked potatos were oversalted couple of times.
Staff were nice and restaurants were nice enough. Other than that not a lot was good.
Hotel has bed bugs, me and my partner are covered in bites, between us there are over 100 bites. The rooms and the rest of the hotel don't look like the photos - doesn't have a pool table/games room (it does in photos on various websites). Pools looked dirty, Squash court was very dirty and had broken tiles on the floor and the room next door was infested with flys and bugs. Water tasted awful and was I scared to drink it, tasted as if there was chlorine in it. Buffet food generally was very dry and not nice. They didn't tell us you needed to book into restaurants the day before so we missed out on that. Aircon in the room made us sick and gave us really sore throats.
Perfect location, good room, and very kind staff at reception.
cleaning service was poor even for money. I left money a few times and asked for cleaning. But еhe floor wasn't washed, and not all the towels were changed
Very nice place, excellent food, location, clean, beautiful seaside
The location is great, right by the beach on one end and the high street on the other. Also just about 20/25 mins to Heraklion Airport or about 45mins by bus. The room was a good size, clean/ modern with good Wi-Fi and streaming options such as Netflix, YouTube etc. I also enjoyed the all-inclusive as some hotels have not so great options, but there was a vast variety and tasty food/ desserts, there were also other options at local bars on the beach for snacks and cocktails in between the restaurant times included within the all-inclusive package. There are many pools onsite with free floaters which was great. The staff were really welcoming and pleasant throughout. They even surprised me with a birthday cake which was so thoughtful! :-D unfortunately we put it in the fridge but forgot it as we had to rush off to catch our flight. I will definitely be back again when I visit Hersonissos, great value for money!
Nothing except unfortunately the spa manager was off sick during my stay so I couldn’t get a massage, but as it was in a busy area I was able to find a local spa for a birthday massage etc. However, the hot tub and sauna were open, but it has to be booked in advance.
The location was good and the swimming pool.
Bathroom was so small. All in all the room wasn’t that clean. That om was full of mosquitos it was horrible for me. Next day we asked is there anything to do with. After that we got mosquito killer. Also, when we checked in the staff was so poor because I had to ask what time you have breakfast, dinner etc. So, she didn’t started by herself. Breakfast was okay but dinner wasn’t good. For vegetarian or muslim t so difficult to find food. There was full of pork options.
The localisation of the facility is very good, 10 minutes walk to the city center. Beautiful view on the sea in the area. The rooms were nice and spacious, very well equipped. The all inclusive meals were very nice - fresh vegetables and fruit every day and a variety of dishes to choose from. The reception staff was helpful and always nice.
Generally, there was a clear feeling of segregation for all inclusive and "proper" guests, especially at the Scorpio bar. The drinks that were available were very disappointing in quality. Not only the alcoholic drinks - the soft drinks, including water and "juice" were rather undrinkable. The street food spot was a mistake. There was definitely not enough sunbeds by the pools for the amount of rooms and people accommodated in the resort. Also, there is a clear sign at the reception that the "booking" of the sunbeds is not allowed for more than 30 minutes, but it was ignored by the staff who did not bother to ask the guest to respect the rule. There is no convenient beach in the area. The small spots that are suitable for sunbathing are occupied as "private beaches", where there is a small amount of sunbeds for additional cost of 15 to 70 euro per person.
Room was 100 yards from the pool, food was amazing, everything was spot on except cleaning, there were spider webs behind the door, so much dust under the bed. Otherwise everything was amazing.
As a family, location was good enough for us, next to everything we needed but not noisyRoom was spacious and comfortable, great sea viewFood was one of the best features of the hotel, great quality and varietyStaff was kind and helpful and always went above and beyond
Was very unsuitable for a stroller and no kids activities at all so would not really recommend for a familyNo beds available ever at the all the pools and all the pool is open to the sun so no shade at all so hard with kids during the day Not a lot of drinks included at the bar menu and snacks options between meals is very low variety and no sweetsTook our all inclusive bracelet at check out so only had lunch the day of leaving
Good location, with beach in front of the hotel (but beach is small and crowded) in the heart of the touristy area. Staff were helpful and friendly.
All inclusive buffet was very repetitive and the food wasn’t good, and there were no a la carte restaurants, only the buffet. The beach was small and crowded and the sun beds were 25 euros each! We did find another beach a bit further with sun beds for 4 euros each. The sofa bed was quite small and uncomfortable. The pool sun beds were always occupied from the morning, sometimes even from the night before with people leaving their towels, so we didn’t even go into the pool! There was no entertainment and no activities in the hotel. Alcoholic drinks included were very watered down and not tasty at all.
Nice hotel more suited for adults not great for kids not enough beds round the pool unless your up at 7am
Close to everything
I would like to than the staff, everybody was very welcoming and we were always greeted with a smile. The room was spacious and very clean, cleaned every day. There are four small swimming pools, very cosy place. The food was good too, we could also use the Scorpio bar and White Rabbit bars nearby, which offer excellent drinks and nice views. Also, we could use Street Food snacks. The soft sand beach is nearby. We loved the stay.
The location was beautiful and lots to do around. Elmi Suites are part of Porto Grecco Hotel which is around 15 blocks of apartments/rooms which gave it character. We found 6 pools in all - all with a different ambience. We loved that there were 3 different bars to drink at - the all inclusive cocktails were amazing and wine very drinkable. We had one night of A la Carte food in the Black Pepper restaurant which was welcomed too.The staff couldn't have been more helpful and did everything they could to make things special including providing surprise birthday cakes. The restaurant had a good variety throughout the week for all taste buds. Again staff at the bars were amazing- such great workers and always polite - they really did make the stay what it was.
Trying to get a sunbed around the pool became impossible - towels were put around so early and the morning we put them there at 6am housekeeping removed as we weren't down there properly for the day early enough. Sunbeds on the beach are to be paid for but they take up most of the space so getting on the beach isn't easy either. The Scorpio Bar was a lovely ambience and all inclusive users have their own area. The staff were less accommodating of the Hotel users prioritising their other visitors and giving misinfornation hence we cancelled our birthday restaurant booking with them in preference to somewhere further along the bay. Whilst only one restaurant there is a Strret Food snack bar - the menu outside is not all available to all inclusive - there is an offering of about 4 things only - gyros Wraps (are lovely) otherwise just rolls or pizza. This felt a little misleading. Food snacks in the lobby bar are limited to cakes and pastries only. Some reviews have questioned whether this is really a 4* - it does tick all the boxes on facilities to make it 4* but I feel space and quality of some of the provisions make it slightly less but still great value for money and very pleasant indeed.
Friendly staff, room, location, all inclusive services (food, drinks), value for the money.
A minor suggestion - there were some accesses to the main restaurant and the upper swimming pool that were closed and if open would be more convenient acesses from the room we stayed. Street food hours could stay on longer (gyros was amazing!)
A complex of buildings catering quite a few people. Some buildings are older than others. They cope well at meal times, everyone knows what job they have to do so everything flows smoothly. The food is absolutely fine, there is something for everyone, freshly cooked. There are a few pools mostly small, very disappointing that they allow guests to leave their towels on the sun loungers even though they are still sleeping. We never found room at the main pool. The bars in the all inclusive are really good. The staff in general are all lovely, polite, helpful and hardworking.
They allow guests to put their towels on the loungers.
