- The personnel were great, fast, and responsive. The environment was green, and there were flowers and vegetables everywhere.Only one tennis court was available, and we should have booked it in advance, but the rackets and balls were available to borrow upon request free of charge. The sand on the beach is so clean and beautiful, but the stones in the area make it difficult, almost impossible, to swim there. The room was clean, and the room service was thorough. The food was phenomenal, huuuge portions and real 5-star quality.
- The rooms were amazing,The staff took great care of us, from having a ready room for rest until our room is ready for check-in, to the head chef that met with us to discuss what we can adapt in the menu to have vegeterian meals that are good.Thank you very much for the amazing stay!
- Our stay at Paralos Kosta Alímia was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight was without doubt the five à la carte restaurants, each offering unique flavors and absolutely delicious food where every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The hotel’s services and facilities were outstanding, seamlessly blending comfort with luxury. What impressed us most, however, was the customer care. After an unfortunate incident with the room, we were met with kindness and professionalism. Special thanks go to Katerina, the manager for customer experience, who went above and beyond to turn the situation around. As a token of respect, she offered us access to everything the hotel had to offer at no extra charge, a gesture that left us truly speechless. This level of thoughtfulness and generosity not only resolved the issue but also elevated our stay into a top-notch experience that made us completely forget the incident in the first place. We left Paralos Kosta Alímia with cherished memories, gratitude for the staff, and a strong desire to return. This is hospitality at its finest.
Cons -
- The thermal bath in the spa area required an additional 15 euros per 30 minutes, which was not mentioned in the booking, with an additional charge. The evening program was quite boring and not engaging. Our room was in the private pool area, and since we booked in October, we had no sun at all on our terrace, although we asked upon arrival and they told us it would have sun.
- The only small drawback was the rocks at the sea, which made swimming there a little difficult at times. However, the hotel more than made up for this with its plenty of other swimming options.
- The hygiene. Daily housekeeping service wasn’t satisfying. Some of the restaurant staff were rude. The AC wasn’t working last night of my stay and there was no technician to fix it.

The design of the room was very connivence and luxurious. Newly renovated. Highly recommended.Specially room #123 with pool access and direct access to the beach.

Fairly clean. Nice staff
Got a room that was on a main hallway, people pass all the time and you can hear everything and can't open the curtains because everyone can see you. Not sure why this is even acceptable to have rooms in such location.
- The room was very beautiful- Private sun bed and the pool were amazing- Daily animations at the bar- The staff was lovely- A lot of options for the breakfast- Very large portions at table and the different restaurants options

We stayed at Paralos Costa Alima for 3 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. At first, we had some doubts and weren’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise—better than the photos and even better than expected! The room was comfortable and spotless, and the location couldn’t be better for a short vacation—just about 20 minutes from the airport and right on the beach with a private stretch of sand.We booked half board, and dinner was a real highlight of our stay—excellent every night, with great variety and flavors. Honestly, it’s one of the best hotel dinners we’ve ever had.The hotel also offered nice extras, like a cozy area with movies and a live dance show, which made the evenings fun and lively. Finally, a special thank you to Giorgos Gelasakis, a staff member who welcomed us warmly and was exceptionally professional and kind. When we forgot something in the room, he went out of his way to help and arranged to send it with a cab to the airport.Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Paralos Costa Alima to anyone visiting Crete.
Breakfast was great, but there was some elementary things that we were missing for us like croissants that we really love, salad dressing ( there was only olive oil and lemon and we had to ask each morning for a salad dressing ) - not something that took away from the great experience, but just mentioning - these are little things that can easily be fixed
In one word, Wow!We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with the all-inclusive package and had the most amazing time. The hotel’s location, with its private beach, pools, bars offering excellent alcohol and cocktails, and five restaurants serving a great variety of delicious food, creates the perfect adult-only escape. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, exactly what we were looking for. The staff go above and beyond to meet every need, always with a warm smile and genuine care.A special thanks to Katarina, who truly went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Her kindness and attention made all the difference. We can’t wait to come back!
Excellent hotel, service, pools, staff.
Shallow sea, but that is not a mistake of the hotel?
Excellent location, beautiful and clean rooms.Very kind and generous staff
The gym can be a bit bigger and with more machines.
The set up of the restaurants was very good I was surprised how well this actually worked being so close to each different cuisine !
The only thing I would say, is for some of more Greek entertainment Maybe at night. Some waiters a little more happier to serve ! That’s it every thing else was amazingly. Good
The food is delicious and we were able to get a promo that included dinner (in addition to breakfast), so we stayed on the resort and glad we did. It’s a beautiful hotel, very modern and clean. The pools are spacious and very relaxing and the beach is a great option and right near the hotel. The staff is friendly and made us feel comfortable. Also, the hotel rooms are modern and nicely decorated - not your traditional hotel rooms which was nice to see. We had a massage done by Maria and it was very relaxing and worth it. The staff also left us a honeymoon surprise, which after a long day of travel, was very nice to see! Highly recommend this hotel - it has everything!
Really modern facilities - the day beds are really nice to hang out at both in the room and at the pool. Staff are all friendly and make us feel welcomed. The dinners at the restaurants were also highlights of our visit. We tried every one of them and they all were delicious.
Almost everything! We had a wonderful time.Stand out aspects include the stunning design of the place, which has an incredible integration of plants, stone, and water. The pools are a joy, wonderfully designed and with epic views of the beach and coastline. There is even an underwater speaker system playing ambient music that is totally inaudible to those above the water. Dipping your head underneath is quite an experience ??Superb quality loungers run from the poolside onto the private beachfront area. You can sit right at the water’s edge and watch the sun go down. Magic!Top quality food in taste, choice, and presentation. We went half board and were more than satisfied. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. All in all, one of the best hotels we have visited.
Only a few minor points here. The toilets could use a rethink. They are all clean but largely reside near the reception and kitchen area. If you have been swimming or are at the beach area you will need to work your way past staff who are busy serving people to track down a toilet. Also, the toilets have an odd lock system on the doors that was broken in several cases. Worth fixing! We also thought that the staff were a little on the authoritative side with regards to the availability of water at dinner. We were half board and the hotel provided 2 bottles per day. This is fine, but strangely we were told off for drinking them with dinner and were expected to pay for more water when we already had some. Finally, the tennis court is tired, and the air con and indoor pool heating were both turned off in late April. This meant the room was a bit hot and the pool options were a tad cold!
All facilities of the hotel are modern and well maintained. The hotel is located just next to the beach, we saw sea from our ground level room and were on the beach in 15 seconds. The hotel itself remained relatively quite, no noisy neighbours in direct vicinity, hence a good place to rest (but then we were there over Easter, not sure how it is during the high season). Breakfast had ample variety. We also tried all 5 restaurants for dinner and the food was great, with dishes typically on bigger size (starter+main+dessert hence typically was too much). The 5 restaurants are actually 5 different open kitchens in the same building.Staff was helpful and forthcoming, ladies serving breakfast were particularly great. Overall, great experience, we would return.
Such a lovely resort! Our hotel room was always kept so lovely and clean, with fresh towels brought to our room every morning. We went for the swim-up room and we would definitely recommend this. Our room in particular got great sun (on the right hand side, close to the sea). However, we went to the main pools quite a lot and we never had any issues with getting a bed as a group of four, no matter what time of day. The sunbeds by the main pool were my personal favourite, they were probably the most comfiest sunbeds i’ve ever layed on! The only thing I’d mention is the pools are very cold, but we were lucky with hot weather so it was nice to dip into.
The only negative we found (which isn’t a big deal) is that there are four restaurants, but they are all in one line, next to eachother. We’ve been to hotels in the past were the restaurants are scattered around so you get a change of scenery each night. But some people might enjoy the convenience of this!
The room with gazebo and jacuzzi is amazing, especially well worth it during low season when it is too cold to swim in the pool. Also enjoyed the gas heater on the terrace. Food in steak restaurant was very delicious.
It was the longest check in experience in my life. We arrived a bit early and were totally fine to leave the luggage in the storage room and go for a walk. Yet stuff asked us to fill in the documents and wait. After around 40 minutes of waiting we went to check on the status only to find out the room was not ready. So we were just sitting and no one came up to us inform about this. I went to the spa to ask about their services and get the pricelist, but for some reason the QR come with list of spa procedures didn’t include prices. It took a while to collect bit by bit the info that just should be online. Overall the service felt not very European, reminded me of my trip to Dominican Republic. Also want to mention the restaurants: officially there are 5 of them, but technically it is one pretty noisy dining area feeling more like a canteen. We tried to finish breakfast / dinner as soon as possible and leave for a cozier place. You need to book restaurants online using a QR code that is only given to you after checkin and some of them are fully booked several days in advance, so you don’t get a chance to visit, especially if you have a short stay.
the food was amazing, the sun bed wear comforting loved the one next / in the pool also the one in the beach
can’t think of one
I spent four days/nights at this hotel and had a wonderfully relaxing time. I chose the all-inclusive package and the table service and quality of food offered for lunch and dinner was excellent. There were plenty of staff in the restaurants and bars, and poolside service was swift and efficient. The infinity pool was stunning and an excellent place to spend each day.
Breakfast wasn't as good as other meals, but there was a range of sweet and savoury items available so it was always possible to find something to eat.
