    • Pool near the beach. And old gentleman in the restaurant near pool. Outstanding service.Nice beach views during sunset

    Cons -

    • All my family got food poisoned including myself, vomiting and diarrheas.
    • Dislikes:Plastic drinks cups at the main bar inside (even when asking for glasses which were available)- those seemed to be kept for people who were tipping.Difficult to get away from smokers- the upstairs bar covered veranda was a no go for us due to the amount of smoke- we had to sit in the reception area on an evening.Lack of seats in the main bar/reception area forcing us one night to literally sit by reception.Sports equipment tired and needs some replacement (eg tennis racquets)No self serve for soft drinks and ice cream- had to wait in a queue and the staff weren’t quick. People would cut in and be served quicker if they were tipping the serving staff.Spa prices too expensive- eg more people would use if a pedicure was £25 rather than £35- I couldn’t justify £80 for a massage.
    • Definitely not 5 star hotel. Max 3.Animation team disorganised and discriminating and ignoring non French customers.Food the same each day and average quality.Room - double bed made from 2 single - disgusting.Old furnituresBeach full of rocks

The location was amazing, right next to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a flight stike and our flights got cancelled. We had to change dates around with our holiday which was stressful but the hotel was extremely helpful. The staff around the hotel were very kind and friendly.

Nothing really, if i had to be picky id say it was hard to find times for when the activities were on, pilates ect.

The people were great and the facilities were good. The restaurant was really nice, but beware some of the reconstituted food. For the price, it represents good value for money.

It's not 5* luxury. It's tired and needs updating. The location is a 20min hilly walk to nearest town, with not a lot going on - tacky english pubs and overpriced gift shops..

Good value for money, lovely staff.

Not 5 star, more like 3 star plus. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t nice. Just old , needs a repaint and revamp.

Greek hospitality and beautiful resort with palm trees, olives and flowers.

The beds were not so comfortable.

I loved the activities throughout the day and the facilities. I liked some of the people in the entertainment team that tried to include everyone, unlike the rest of them. Shout out to Ricky, Lorenzo, and the new lady that only came on Monday (Sep 16th) from Germany (didn’t catch her name). All 3 of you, thank you for including all guests and greeting everyone even when different from your own nationality.

The clear distinction of how guests were treated depending on their nationality. I would have never chosen this place had I known that in advance. Overall, though I loved Crete, I regretted so much staying at Annabelle. The hotel is very French tourist oriented and it seems like if you are any other nationality you are not as important. The staff will make you feel less. I don’t think anyone wants to feel that, especially if you are crossing the ocean to spend your vacations there. I had never been in a hotel where they treat you differently like that. They even gave the French tourists a wristband, but not the rest of us, just so they knew who to talk to. They would go right past you, look at you straight in the eye and only greet the French person behind you. They even had special events for them that did not include the rest of the guests. It was unbelievable at first, it became uncomfortable later, and created some awkward situations. Additionally, the cleaning/housekeeping personnel refused to clean the rooms unless you tipped them daily. I would always tip the cleaning personnel at the end of my stay on my previous vacations. However during this stay, they only cleaned well the room after the first day of our stay, I think they expected daily tips because we started finding our decorative pillows in the floor, the towels were barely or sloppy folded and one shoe on one side under the bed and the other on the other side under the bed. I would not consider this place a 5 star hotel, probably a 3 would be more adequate.

EVERYTHING. I even left my expensive designer bag in our room when we had left for the airport, and the hotel posted it all the way to England for me! Amazing staff, food 8/10, great kids club, and great pools and entertainment. All round, great family holiday.

    9PeterPosted on: 8-18-2024

Staff was tremendous, always smiling and offering help. The food was surprisingly tasty and it was well-organized. The food variety was very good and there was always fresh food. The rooms were very clean and kept clean throughout our visit.

The beach was nice, but the wind caused large waves causing the lifeguards to put up red flags thus not allowing people to go into the sea. This is not a fault of the hotel, but an unexpected consequence of the weather.

    7LucyPosted on: 8-5-2024

Nice beach and pools. Friendly staff.

Watered down drinks. Had to ask for soap and toilet roll for our room.

The animators were amazing..... fully with energy. Hotel guest was possibility to spend great time in hotel territory doing sport activities and leisure.

The taste of meal sometime was tastelessness. During when we stayed in this hotel, room cleaner sealed money from our wallets and hotel security first moment did want to solve this problem... only second time, when we found out stealing attempt, stuff reacted.

    10AndreasPosted on: 7-31-2024

Pretty much everything. People were friendly, amazing animation team, buffets were great, amazing price to quality ratio. Nothing to complain about. As close to perfect as one could get.

A screw was loose one the toilet door. Nothing else to complain about.

It was our first time in Greece and we absolutely loved it!The resort is very big and beautiful! Amazing pool and private beach! The best thing about our trip was with out a doubt the Entertainment Team! They were the best! Every activity and every show was fantastic!A big thank you to Lila, Mila, Sofia, Marco, Carolina, Lori and Valeria. Amazing young people! The waitress Rena was very nice and friendly as well. Girl´s trip from Portugal!

The food was bad, we did not enjoy it. That's not how a 5 star resort should make it's food...The lady from the massages was a bit rude when we said we didn't want the massages. If the prices were low they would definitely get more clients in the spa.The people from the reception didn't give us a lot of information about the resort and they need to work on their English. Girl´s trip from Portugal!

Location, accommodation and amenities were very good.

We are fitness oriented so 9am gym opening was we felt a little late plus dining room should have somebody greeting diners as they arrive to eat, small customer service gesture.

    7KellowPosted on: 6-23-2024

Relaxed atmosphere, good selection of food, beautiful gardens, hard working staff, layout of complex

Room a little tired and pillows very poor. Often no paper towels in hotel toilets. Long wait for service at Taverna due to not enough staff.

    7CharleyPosted on: 6-18-2024

The staff are the crown jewel of this hotel. Particularly Lella from kids club, he was brilliant with the most fantastic energy, also the young bar man from the pool bar, i didnt get his name but he was lovely. Facilities were good, had more or less everything you need there (shop, multiple pools, 24 hour reception, entertainment, activities, a church, tennis courts, beach ect.) Loved the beach. Drinks were okay. For the price I would stay again. I wouldn't say its a 5 star though. Rooms were better than the pictures and bed was comfortable. Things are a little warn in the toom and around the hotel but it didn't really bother us

The food was poor but the price of the hotel and stay reflects that in my opinion. We ate out almost every meal time.

Was a very nice hotel nice pools and nice views close to everything there is a rent car in the hotel that its helps a lot but thank you very much for the staff

we had a problem with the food because we are muslim we hope they will change a little bit with the menu

I love everything about the place. The hard-working receptionists, cleaners, entertainers, drivers, managers bar attendants always want to make life comfortable. I was impressed with Nicos and the managers who made our life very smooth any time we approached them with an issue. The place was always super clean with lots of food, entertainment, drinks, wines, and a lot more. I cannot fault this place and I recommend it highly to everyone who wants to travel to Crete. ,

Nice layout of the hotel - beautiful gardens and villas, right on the beach. Very friendly staff. We had a nice villa for 3 adults overlooking the beach and the pool. Great Greek food - yoghurts, salads. There is a playground for kids.

Not my type of crowd - so many buses kept coming delivering people every day, and lots of them just eat, drink and sit by the pool. Too crowded at eating time, felt like real conveyer. Every evening there would be some entertainment with quite loud music till late, which might be fun for some but we really just wanted to relax
