Glaros Beach Hotel

Property was beautiful & well maintained. Everyone from housekeeping to wait staff to front desk was friendly, professional & effective. Beach is right outside. Location is in the midst of beaches, shops, restaurants & atttactions. Meals were better than anticipated. Rooms spacious & comfortable. Hotel has a parking lot. Be aware spaces are limited.

The property was a nice location for an overnight stay near various options for beach food and shopping.

Rooms a really small but the balconies are a nice addition to be able to step out and not feel cramped. Bathroom small as well. The main floor is beautiful. Parking was tricky.

I think the price of the half board is perfectly balanced, offering comfortable accommodation with good food, a pool, and a beach. If I had chosen all-inclusive or paid 20 percent more, I wouldn't have been satisfied.

From check in to check out this hotel and the staff were amazing! My flight was late getting in which meant I missed the dinner time however the lady who checked me in sent me to their other restaurant in the hotel with a card to ensure I got a meal that evening. During my stay the staff were amazing from reception to restaurant staff. I last minute asked if another night could be added due to a strike the day of my departure my flight was cancelled and I faced multiple issues trying to confirm information with the airline. The hotel staff were exceptional and within minutes had my extra night half board added at extremely good value. They helped me get information on my flight and use their phone to contact the airline etc. I used the spa which was also great value for money. The pool was amazing and everything is just like their photos , even better if I am honest! The food at breakfast and dinner varied each day (in a good way) ,always an incredible variety of hot and cold food, and the desserts are a 10/10!! The hotel is right on the beach , with a super cosy and comfortable vibe! I really can’t think of a single thing this hotel didn’t offer and if I ever go back to Crete I will 100% come back to this hotel. I unfortunately did not get any of the staffs names, but to the guy that greets you and takes your drink orders in the restaurant and was working the week of the 4th-10th of April , you are AMAZING at your job! And to the receptionist working the evening of the 8th April and helped me with my questions, booking me in an extra night and helping me in my state of panic , Thank you so much!! You were incredibly helpful! All other staff weee also friendly and incredible but these 2 in particular really need to be recognised. The staff here really do go above and beyond and the hotel is just beautiful I would HIGHLY recommend you stay here!

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the hotel was in a great location close to the sea.

During Breakfast times their was a shortage of both cups and glasses with people having to wait for both to be brought out from the wash up area.Also during our week there, the showers each morning were cold except for 2 mornings

We got a sea view bedroom without booking it, food was good.

Bad service in the restaurant and you have to pay for drinks with you’re meal (even water)

Too crowded. Small pool with too much people. No clean sea water. Food was below average. The parking place is a joke.

Primarily booked it because, its next to beach. However, the so called Beach front is a joke. Hotel wants money for getting a safe, beach towels (Not just deposit, you need to pay rent for these).Though dinner included, you can't take your own water, you have to pay for overpriced water.We did like the chef, who went above and beyond to make vegetarian food for us.For the price we paid, there are other hotels with sunset views, next to the beach that we could have gotten.

The location is good, near the beach.The staff is very friendly and nice.

You have to pay if You want a beach chair, on the detalis they don t mention that, it just says that you have acces to it.We had lots of ants in the room.The bathroom was very very small, barely Could move 2 inches in there , and there was a window but into the wall and You Could year eeeeveeything people NexT to You were Doing in Their bathroom. The food was the same every day, only on the last day they changed couple of them.In my opinion this hotel Does not deserve 4 stars.

The location is perfect, the staff is extremely friendly, rooms are comfortable (expect 2 twin beds even if you are a couple, which can bother some people). very good value for money!

the water pressure in the shower was not great. the buffet at night could be better (but it's not bad at all). Don't fall for the massage offered as an extra, it is very expensive compared to other locations in Crete and not the best.

1. Dining room with a rich selection, the dining room had an excellent service team2. A very spacious bedroom above the standard3. The bed for the girl was very comfortable like the bed for the adults (not a folding bed and not a sofa)4. The location of the hotel was very good5. The hotel has private parking for owners of a rental car that is free of charge

Improvement is required in:1. I rolled down the stairs and opened my elbow, I got a lot of blood from an open wound, from the slip I also got hit on the back and head from the stairs. It is strange that there was no doctor or nurse in the hotel, nor was there an orderly evacuation from the hotel to a local clinic. They told me to take care of myself but they gave me polydine with cotton wool and a small gauze. There was not even a bandage to stop the blood by a local dressing.2. Bad attitude of the cleaner in the room towards us, the guests.3. One very small elevator. A cleaning staff member from the ground floor showed a bad attitude towards the guests. Pushed and did not give priority to the guests to enter.4. An old safe without a key5. When choosing the hotel, we realized that the hotel has a private beach, which belongs to the hotel, but in practice it is not the hotel's beach and we were required to pay a high price for the chairs

Incredible view, perfect location.

Overcrowded. Too many young party people. Yelling.

The location is one of the best because of the surrounding shops and restaurants. The street is wide enough to drive in comfort even though parking space is limited.The staffs are all in all very nice and helpful. Perhaps it's typical Greece people. The lady in Veranda Restaurants is very nice.The room is old but still comfortable.The food is mostly taste great, especially the dessert. Worthy to get a half board package there.

For a 4 stars hotel, it's not what you expect at all.1. One slow barely functioning small elevator is just wrong. Each time you step in, the elevator drop about 5cm. Even the cleaning service used the same elevator. 2. The plate in the breakfast and dinner area are dirty and so difficult to get a clean plate. I even get one plate with some food leftovers. Disgusting.3. Don't expect to get a free sun bed in their promoted beach. You have to pay.4. The bathroom is so old. The shower head is always falling because the holder is almost broken. Very poor maintenance.5. The refrigerator barely giving any chilling. Is almost useless. You need to buy a bag of ice to keep drinks cold. There's no rack in it.

We were on a family vacation, about 10 adults in suites facing the sea. Excellent location on the boardwalk and the sea, not in a noisy and accessible location. Behind the hotel is the main street. Good and varied meals. The hotel staff responded to every request and did everything to make our vacation enjoyable.Must commend the efforts and great service of the ladies at the reception Maria and Petra.

The hotel does not provide pool and beach towels.

I love this hotel. It's CLEAN and it is located in a great location. There is a minimarket inside for all you need and the blonde shopkeeper is fantastic. Me and my family were in Room 222 - great room! Lovely beds! I also recommend to get a massage with Eva. She is super. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was incredibly kind and professional, the services and rooms were excellent, the hotel is right on the beach and near attractions! The staff accommodated any needs or wants that we had, and we got a beautiful romantic getaway.
