It seems very close to the lifts but in reality is 20/30 min waking with ski/snowboard boots.
Very good hotel with a long history dating back to the 19th century. At the same time there is a new part where you can find a gym, swimming pool and saunas. The service in the restaurant and in the rooms is of high quality.
Nothing major.
This is the sixth time I have chosen this hotel to spend my summer vacation, the previous visits being 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024. Every time I choose the room with a view of the glacier. It is a hotel that offers great comfort, excellent staff, varied cuisine. Staring to 2024, the spa area is dreamy.
I wanted the balcony of room 67 to have flowers, a common thing in Tirol. Many other balconies have them, I don't understand why it's so expensive to put a flower pot. At the restaurant several times beef was served, for example stew. I was surprised to find that the meat is very tough, barely chewable. Or is it a problem with the oven or with the the chef. I must say that all the other breakfast and dinner offerings are extraordinary.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Beautiful views. Great location to get to Hintertux skiing quickly. Nice spa facilities as well.
The building consist from refurbished and old parts. We stayed in the older one. Well, everything seemed to be somehow “tired”. The furniture, entire bathroom, equipment, common spaces and unfortunately also some member of the staff. Beds were rather uncomfortable. On the other hand, the wellness area and pool were very nice. We also enjoyed the kitchen. Both breakfasts and dinners were very nice. Excellent location is very much appreciated.
Great food and location
A bit crowded with the facilities I thought the pool will be with thermal mineral spa water not chlorinated (maybe the Thermal-Badhotel) is only for the summer?
the swimming pool, overlooking the mountains, is an incredible feature of the structure. The room is average, typical of a two-star hotel, while the food, at breakfast and dinner, is excellent.
the staff and service is really poor. 70 percent of the waiters do not speak English, which makes it really difficult to interact and have peaceful meals. But the worst handicap is the absence of night services. I left my room key at a friend's house, and when I arrived at the hotel at 11 pm the reception was closed, and the only people there were drunk at the bar. When I asked the barman if I could have assistance he referred me to a waiter, who was celebrating and, visibly drunk, when he listened to my problem he made me understand (visibly annoyed) that the reception was closed and that no one could help me. Moral of the story: I had to get back in the car and sleep at a friends house. Unacceptable from a 4 star hotel that costs 900 euros for 6 nights.
Close to transport cable. Very nice sauna, pool and resting area apres-sky. Table arrangement, food and menu in restaurant was very good. Nice view on mountains from the restaurant.
Excellent location. Food is very good value. Pool & spa facilities exceptional
Staff can look a little grumpy but if you make an effort and talk to them they’re very friendly. Rooms are dated.
Good breakfast and dinner options
Multiple waiters did not speak English so I had to wait for 10 minutes for them to find me in a system and assign the table. At check out I found out the extra charge for the drink on my room (which I never ordered)
Sauna areaStaff friendliness
Water dispenser and towels at the gym would have been great
I was here second time. Strategy place just one bus stop to Hintertux ski. Very easy parking. Half board plus sneck, here best of the best, Wellness fantastic.
In the restaurant staff dont speak English. No big problem but expect some people with English. Sometimes we have to long time wait for staff to ask us if we want order something.
I knew the place since 2007 and I like it very much. It is nice, clean, large rooms and I had a view to the mountains. In the evenings I could relax in the saunas and swimming pool. Excellent conditions for a holiday.
The room was very spacious and had beautiful views of the valley, although the decoration was a bit dated. The ski room and wellness area were the best facilities of the hotel.
The food was extremely disappointing. It was closer to youth-hostel quality than a four-star hotel. The staff in the restaurant were not very helpful and had very little English, which caused some communication challenges.
Thermal-Badhotel Kirchler is good value for money. The whole team is really supportive. I request Kettle during my stay. The hotel fulfil my requirement. The staff is really helpful, specially Tanja, my figure get cut, she provided me plasta. She always smiles and says hello to the customers. Full of energy and always try to help.
The dinner (main course) is salty.
The staff and service were excellent as were the meals and the fancy dining room. The hotel has a large indoor pool and there is ample parking. It is well located and a free municipal bus, which runs frequently, shuttles skiers to the base of the mountain. There is some shopping nearby as well as a mini market carrying essentials.
I was assigned a single room in the annex, which is a separate building, across a driveway from the main lodge. Unfortunately, it has no elevator so, if you don’t like climbing three flights of stairs carrying heavy bags, specify you don’t want to stay there. Furthermore, the room I was assigned was not what anyone expects in a four star hotel. While the room had a nice bathroom and toilet, the sleeping area was extremely small and the single lumpy bed, tucked into a corner, was unsuitable for an adult as were the small duvet and meagre pillows.
nice room, very good food, excellent service
more convenient shower
Nice pool, good food, excellent staff.
