Olydea les Bottieres - Saint-Pancrace

I was able to cook dinner as I please, there were restaurants all around and supermarket to get supplies as needed.

The location is perfect, close to the ski lift, the free ski bus, and restaurants. The rooms are cosy. The ski lockers are in an ideal location and well-planned.

The pool was a bit cool but clean, the changing rooms were also clean.

The staff were lovely, chatty and helpful ?Towels and bedding really fresh.

The price was right for what we got, it could do with an complete overhaul though. The bed was made for us with fresh linen – however, it is the bed settee. Difficult to get in and out of because of the wooden surround. One half of the bed is extremely uncomfortable. There wasn’t a mattress or pillow protectors and you could smell the unpleasant smell through the clean bedding. The bathroom smells of sewerage. We didn’t use much in the room and ate out very nearby. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it was taken over by some young men who are working locally and living there, they were a nuisance loud and rude. There was a smell of cigarette smoking in the corridor. I spilled something on the floor, I cleaned it up and it is safe to say the floor was really really dirty. The balcony is great but the edge covered in bird droppings, and the seats could have done with cleaning.

Felt like home.. had all basic amenities for a completely laid back holiday with family. Both good and bad - the place had terrible internet

The pillows can be far better - another uncomfortable piece of the totally lovely experience

poor messaging prior to arrival. told us the payment was declined yet we had already paid in full then they didn’t respond to messages. on arrival no one answered the door or the phone. I had to search the village for someone who knew how to contact reception to get. response so wasted an hour trying to access the property. when she did arrive there was no apology. sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable.

The young lady in the reception was kind and tried to do her best; the appartment was quite big;

Location is very remote with very poor infrastructure: no shop, 2 restaurants (very difficult to book for a dinner); facilities were quite old and there was a consistent very bad smell in the corridor so probably a ventilation is not working correctly

Direct access to the ski piste, adequate parking and friendly staff.

No sheets or towels in apartment upon arrival, however we did book the day before and they were provided as soon as we asked.
