Helena Park - Ultra All Inclusive

The rooms were very clean, the food was diverse and very tasty and the drinks were good as well (but with off brand alcohol). The whole staff was great. Also the animation team deserves 1000/10, they're the one that add the extra star.

Didn't appreciate the fact that we booked 2 rooms and one of them (Park view) was about 10% more expensive - there were simply no similar room available at the time of the booking, and the more expensive one was claimed to be 269 ft^2 and the other 215 ft^2, so it seemed worth it. We actually got the exact same room, just across the hall, with view to the parking lot and kid's scene that had loud music, and it was not bigger in any way. We realized we got fooled very late in the week when we visited our friends' room (the less expensive one). Not fair to your visitors to do this, charge more for nothing additional, if anything a view to a noisier side of the hotel.

It was our 3rd vacation at Helena ... and we are waiting for the next one. We feel like home in this resort. Comfy and quiet room, very nice garden, a beach with good sand. Very clean places and very kind people. A huge hug for the chefs!!!! The food is amazing ... large variety and very good taste ... this summer entertainment program has been a high class one ... The staff was really good and very accomodating. They even allowed us to check out late for free since we had a late plane. The room was clean and was cleaned daily. The massages was very good. Price was good.

A lot of the activities where not being held. The food in restaurant was very bland and a lot of times overcooked. The spa and facilities was quite run down. Lot of the things on the hotel was closed down.Disclaimer: We were there at the end of season so pretty sure a lot of the things was because of that.

All, except entertainment!

no entertainment, no party, no music as a sound of ambiance at the restaurant, it was something for seniors club! Unfortunaly this was the line between superb and excellent!

The variety and quality of the food and drinks, very good location, is not a noisy area.

The stuff were very friendly. My girlfriend had a birthday during our stay and they prepared a special surprise for her! The facilities were great! The food was amazing!We were provided free sun beds at the beach each day of our stay! All in all, I highly recommend this hotel!

Food was delicious.The staff was professional and very polite.

The free chairs and umbrella on the beach were in a very limited number. To get one, sameone from the family or friends had to go early. I believe that is not a very big thing for a complex like Helena to add some more. It's not fair to pay for all-inclusive and to pay again for a umbrella and chairs.The gate to the beach was always locked and we had to use a secondary gate that belongs to Helena Sand that was little bit to far away.

This hotel is highly recommended. The service is wonderful, the food is brilliant. The private beach is really close. We loved the pool and the vibe there.

All the staff is super nice, the waiters and waitresses are adoreable, but fire the life guard at the pool!!He is the biggest jerk I've ever met. Has nothing to do with people and the tourism. As I see I'm not the only one with this opinion.

Very nice hotel! Great animation team! Every day was full of different activities. Wonderful meals and drinks. Very nice and clean beach!

Number of free sunchairs at the beach is very small, so you have to go there very early to get some.

Everything was great - food, room, staff, location.

We really liked the yard, which had many trees, the cleanliness, which was exemplary, and the friendliness of the restaurant staff. The food was tasty and varied.

We rented a room for two people and received a room that was part of an apartment, with a separating door between them. Of course, everything that was said in the adjacent room by the 'neighbors' could be heard by us. Luckily, I think they were German, so we didn't understand what they were saying :)). The people in the restaurant, at the reception, and the cleaning staff were very kind, but a man who worked with the beach towels was very rude and irritable throughout our stay. I believe he was the only Bulgarian employee in the entire staff. As I mentioned in the list of positive things, the yard, pool, and architecture of the hotel were impressive, but I don't consider the interior of the room to meet the 5-star standard. I've stayed in 4-star hotels in the same sunny beach with much better rooms. However, this doesn't mean it was bad, just that we had higher expectations since it was a 5-star hotel.

Lack of parking slots , small restaurant for the people they can accommodate , cleaning of the pool happens only once per week.

The restaurant staff were great. All very polite and fast to serve us.

Would be better if more of the sunbeds on the beach were in the all inclusive section as the included ones fill up very fast everyday.

The hotel is nice, just 1 min from the beach with perfect sand. The food, service and maitanance of the resort were excellent. My son was very happy of the Kids daily activities in the hotel.

The hotel is huge, very close to the beach (5 min walking), surrounded by trees, with a nice pool. Rooms are very clean, the ladies come every day to clean and to change the towels.Diversity of food, which is very tasty as well.We enjoyed our staying.

I just didn’t understand why we did not receive two rooms one close to the other one, as we traveled with my parents which are helping a lot with the baby and I mentioned this in my reservation made since January. The explanation at the reception: the hotel is fully booked. Yes, but I reserved in January. When you make the plan of all your bookings, you don’t take into consideration an early booking request? Why it’s so difficult to give me the room next door if you know this with 6 months in advance?

Same thing happens every year. No measure is taken against the people who are reserving sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach or around the pool. I was on the beach at 8 am and there were seats available only starting with row 5, the people reserving their seats with towels in the front rows were arriving way later, even around 10 am.
