Hotel Restaurant Raunig

It was truly a vacation well spent at Hotel Raunig! At first, we thought we’d be missing out on a lot since it seemed like the season had just ended—but we were wrong! The place was calm, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Stunning view on the balcony! We even got a great deal from the hotel that included a Kärnten Card, which gave us free entries to some of Carinthia’s most beautiful places and attractions. We were just a day late for the boat trips -- they ended exactly the day we arrived, but everything else made up for it.The breakfast and dinner were always good! Honestly, they went beyond our expectations every time. And what made our stay even more special was the humble couple who owns and manages the hotel, they were so accommodating and kind. Plus, they have a super friendly dog who seems to love every guest that walks in! ?Quiet surroundings, good food, and warm people, what more can we ask for? I would highly recommend this place. ☺️

Wifi can be difficult. Took that opportunity to actually enjoy the quiet nights reading a book. ☺️Probably the thing we didn't like is that we only stayed for 5 nights. It would be great to stay longer. ?

Located uphil offering a beautiful panoramic view. The owners are friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food is excellent!

Located a 5min drive uphill from Kaiserburgbahn lift. The view form the room is wonderful. The room was very nice. The food they serve is amazing. Hotel also has a ski and boot room, with heating for boots.

The personal was super kind and helpful. Answered all our questions. Furthermore the food was really delicious.

The hotel is newly renovated with great views, very comfortable. The sauna is clean and relaxing, and the food was really good, too. The staff is super lovely. Perfect for a skying trip.

Great hosts, lovely little hotel.

Location is a bit up in the mountains, takes about 5 min by car to get to the hotel from the main road.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious, featuring a large balcony overlooking the ski piste. The food was simple but tasty, with an excellent salad bar. They provide a heated ski room for drying boots and equipment.

The WiFi was slow.

Beautiful view from the hotel restaurant, where delicious meals were served. Very friendly and helpful staff. Made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and cozy.

The sofa bed was not very comfortable. However, it was possible to sleep on it. I really have no other complaints, I definitely recommend the hotel.

The hosts were the nicest, most hospitable people we’ve ever had in a stay. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the restaurant overlooking the slopes made the experience 100x better. The room was clean and spacious, and had an incredible view as well.

The breakfast was good. Fresh croissants. The coffee could be a little better.

Everything was within the expected limits, except the high temperatures.

Just wow!This place is amazing. Located very close to the Kaoserburgbahn with an amazing view to the mountain.The bahn is a 8 minute car ride, however the owner offers a bus shuttle for free as well.The style of the whole house is very elegant and beautiful, awesome and quality stuff all around.They have a nice sauna on the 3rd floor as well and a treadmill with a window facing the mountain.The best part is still Adrie and Petra, the owners, who are one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life! Adrie is a supernice, chill dude, always looking for you to help with anything you need.Thank you for having us around!

Amazing place led by super nice hosts. The time we spent there was very good. They also looked out for my food tolerance so it wasn't a problem either. And they cooked amazing food, very big portions.The view is totally worth it as well, you can check the slopes during your breakfast :)Thank you for having us there!

The breakfasts were great - variety of bread, eggs upon request. Vegetable, fruit...Sauna was a nice benefit to the place (I would prefer more options for cooling down after sauna, there was only shower).

The hotel is located just over the village of Bad Kleinkircheim with a beautiful view on the mountains and on the slopes. The staff is very friendly and you can feel positive vibes.Breakfast and dinner are good.

Perfect location, with extraordinary views. The hosts were excellent, made us feel at home, nice communicating with them in Afrikaans. Good breakfast and dinner.Enjoyed our stay tremendously!
