Dine outdoors on the terrace in front of the beach and admire the view. The free pebble beach in front of Hotel La Certosa is equipped with sun umbrellas and loungers. Friendly and welcoming staff organize boat rentals and boat tours of the coast or the nearby islands.The structure is an old restored Charterhouse and is all stairs first floor 2 flights 36 steps second floor 2 ramps another 24 steps.

It was right on the beach and tours of the Amalfi Coast and Capri were available and left from the dock right in front of the hotel.
It was an hour bus ride back to Sorrento.

Probably the biggest disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of an elevator.
