Hostal Sa Barraca - Adults Only

The couple who run the hostel are lovely. The views are stunning and we were very comfortable. The lounge is filled with interesting books and a telescope for bird watching.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hostal Sa Barraca. The moment you walk in, it feels like home—the kind of place where you instinctively want to take your shoes off and settle in. It’s cozy, welcoming, and full of charm.The couple who runs it are truly wonderful—so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their warmth sets the tone for the entire stay.The location is perfect if you enjoy walking. We didn’t use our car once during our time there! Everything from the beaches to the town center is within reach on foot, and the strolls are beautiful.We couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore Begur. Highly recommend!

Incredible view, wonderful patio, comfortable bed, and incredible hosts!

The owners were really nice and welcoming. The property’s area was beautiful with big houses in the neighbourhood. The view from our room was magical and it had 2 lounge chairs with a table. The view from the communal balcony was also incredible. Lastly, the kitchen and fridge area is well organized.

Location, atmosphère and the owners.

All restaurants were closed that we had to buy some groceries in a supermarket. They let us use kitchen appliances that we were able to have dinner there.

The hosts are such kind and friendly people who can't do enough for you (we planned our return journey just so that we could stay here again). The hotel and rooms are spotless, breakfast is tasty and the views are incredible. We spent most of our time in the communal living room as the atmosphere is like home from home and we can't wait to return.

View along the coast is exceptional and hosts are delightful. Beautiful 2-3 star property.

You must have a car to stay here (we did) as walking to the beaches or Begur is a bit of a hike.

The hosts were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. They gave us lots of local information and a map to help us find places. They gave us use of a shared kitchen with our own shelf in the fridge, microwave and kettle which was very handy. Our room was lovely, traditionally Spanish and with our own terrace with a fabulous view overlooking the coast. We opted for breakfast each day on the hotel terrace with a sweet and savoury option, this was fantastic value for money. We will definitely return and it was very hard to leave!

The view from the balcony overlooking the local area and to the sea is just great!! The owners are super friendly and helpfull. Breakfast rooting from Spanish cuisine is superb.

Free parking, nice views, pretty good location (not the best if you’re trying to be close to Begur as driving is required).

For the price, it was unimaginable to me that there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. Breakfast also not being included after paying 160€ for a room outside of city center WITHOUT AC… terrible value imo but it was one of the few hotel rooms left in the summer.

Our stay at the Sa Barraca was absolutely wonderful! The hosts are a married couple and are very welcoming and lovely. We had booked a room with a seaside-view and were blown away by the panoramic view over the ocean. The room was very clean and the hosts were always happy to help. The breakfast is freshly made and totally worth it. The hotel is at a very good location, with the ocean and supermarkets being nearby.

Expensive breakfast.

Stunning views from the terrace. Easy parking. Shared fridge space works well, albeit different. Lovely owners and staff. Breakfast looked good but we didn’t have it. Wine and beer available. Good place to tour the area for the day.

We like to walk everywhere but too hilly for that. Bed was hard and pillows so hard we didn’t use them.

Great location and views. Very friendly host and amazing breakfast in the beautiful terrace.
