Hotel-Spa Classic Begur

Looking for a cheap comfortable stay in the centre of Begur and it was perfectly located.Check.in.and check.out times were good ,staff were amazingly cheerful.and helpful.Breakfast was a lovely treat with plenty of choices . This was a November stay so town was quiet and parking etc easy .Bed was comfortable and room spacious and quirky.Great location for central sight seeing ,food and drink although most places were closed during our time there

Room was on front of hotel which was ok for us but be aware if you want a lie in the church bells are active early 7am onwards and also the workmen opposite started building work noise very early ...not the hotels fault I know ! Room was lovely but starting to get a little tired ..needs a refresh of paint ,wardrobe door handle missing ,and bathroom sink didn't hold water ,..spa was great but not sure everything was working as it should and again lighting ,shower and toilet rooms need a facelift .Shame you don't get a couple of complimentary coffee or tea in your room before having to pay for the extra mini bar items ..None of these would put me off staying again but I guess for premium season prices you may expect a little more on the finish details .

Owners weren’t the friendliest, staff spoke very little English, water in spa wasn’t hot, toilet paper wasn’t replenished one day and we ran out of it

Breakfast was great and served on the roof terrace, which was lovely and shady in the morning.Our rooms were all together on the second floor, with balconies, a large terrace in our case and well stocked mini bars!The location was as central as you can hope for, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

Beautiful room, and amazing view from the balcony! The bed was extremely comfy and the cleaning was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well! And the location is super central, right on the heart of Begur and walking distance to every place in town. In order to get to the beaches, you must grab a bus about 5min walking distance that cost an euro per ride.

Keep in mind, the elevator is quite slow, but they have staircases as well. I would say the sauna has room for improvement.

The room was clean, gorgeous and very large. I had a deluxe double room with a balcony. It felt luxurious. The location was central to many shops and restaurants.

The parking is far away, if you find a spot. The street noise was a party like atmosphere that didn’t quiet down until after midnight, and then early morning lots of clanging and trucks unloading. The AC was difficult to figure out so the room was a little warm.

The staff was not up to standards. The receptionist couldn’t really indicate a proper parking where to park our car. He sent me a small screenshot of Begur where you couldn’t see a thing and when asked about parking possibilities over the phone, he was of no help.We also enquired about restaurants in the area (low season, many restaurants are closed), and he couldn’t tell us about any. The only one he suggested (20 meters away) was closed and he had no idea.We eventually found one after searching the neighbouring streets.The lady in charge of breakfast was rather unpleasant. Not a smile, not a word uttered.So all in all, a pleasant stay due to a nice hotel and a nice setting but the staff is not up to standard.

The room was well appointed. Spa was very nice too.

Location: you will have to walk five (5) minutes with your suitcases from the nearest parking lot, on cobblestone.Customer service after an incident at breakfast.

Rustic charm kept to very high quality. Bedroom had all you expect in modern hotel with added charm old arched and brick display. Had a free spa in the basement, very clean and relaxing

The location as the hotel is in the centre, in a nice neighborhood. We had a problem with our room, as the air conditioning didn't work but the owner could manage to give us a different room. The breakfast was really good, just like the view from the rooftop terrace.

The location as the hotel is in the centre, there is no possibility for parking at the hotel, only a bit further. The owner of the hotel can help you with the possibilities. Some are free, some are not free. It was fine for us, but depending on where you can park, it might be a problem for old people, or for people with more suitcases.

They serve you most of the breakfast, some of it without being able to choose, which is not the best when you have food intolerances, as you might end up with many things on your table that you cannot eat. Food quality was good though.

it was great location - very central

The staff. The woman that greeted us was miserable from the second she greeted us. That attitude carried over to breakfast the next day. So much so that we decided to eat out the next morning because we didn’t feel like interacting with her. She was in accommodating and rude. it definitely put a bit of a damper on the stay

my room was not that great, but okay.

The breakfast was excellent and staff was friendly. We enjoyed the view from the outdoor terrace in particular.

The staircase was quiet dark and easily you can overlook a step.

Great central location. Large rooms and showers. Overall a very good small hotel in an excellent location
