Amazing hotel, staff and location!
Reception staff were extremely nice and helpful. Very accommodating all around. Helped us book a boat excursion and call cabs, couldn’t be happier with their kindness
Breakfast buffet was just ok, but very nice feature.
Spectacular location, fabulous views, tranquil, very clean, friendly staff, amazing food and wonderful service! We loved our stay! What’s not to love! Will be returning very soon!

Absolutely amazing property! Hotel Aigua Blava sits right on the beach, carved between cliffs, with breathtaking views of the sea, pine trees, and surrounding nature. Parking and breakfast were included. Breakfast had a delicious variety of eggs, cheeses, meats, pastries, fresh juices, and beverages including wine and cava. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The property is spacious and full of activities, including a heated pool, tennis and pickleball courts, ping pong tables, and a spa.Our room had a lovely outdoor patio, and a small beach was just steps away - such a relaxing and beautiful space. Highly recommend this hotel on the Costa Brava, especially as a central point to explore the area.
great location with terrific views, good facilities and great pool. Restaurant good service and quality
Breakfast was amazing. Scenery and setting was spectacular.
Restaurant dinner was terrible. Recommended not eating dinner here.
amazingly beautiful cove, quiet property, nice gardens and rooms
parking situation was extremely crowded and difficult to manage, lots of flies and mosquitos
Beautiful beach. Gorgeous views.
Dinner at the restaurant was not good.No chairs or umbrellas in September and hotel runs out of theirs quickly. No place in the bathroom to hang wet stuff and no place in the shower for shampoo etc.
The setting of this property is amazing. Perched over the sea the views were stunning. The rooms were spacious and we had a nice large sea view terrace. The deserts in the restaurant were some of the best we’ve ever had The housekeeping did a great job loved they had l’occitane products.
The black mold in the bathroom was very concerning , the towels were long past needing changing out.The food in the restaurant is beyond terrible, which forces you to leave the property and go find dinner elsewhere, served a caprese salad that I wouldn’t have put the tomato’s to any guest in my home. Served a huge bowl of pasta with no decorative plating , sauce on side which didn’t even cover the pasta so you have a bowl of basically plain pasta.None of the staff seemed overly happy to be there it was strange Breakfast buffet food quality was not great. Coffee from the machines wasn’t great
An absolute slice of paradise! Our room opened up onto a private beach which was bliss. We hiked, went for runs, snorkelled, played tennis and had the best time. Staff were amazing and the food at the restaurant & breakfasts were excellent. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. My husband and I had a magical time and we will definitely be back. Thank you Hotel Aigua Blava!
The views were marvelous. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast options were great.
It takes 25 minutes walking to get to the Aigua Blava beach. The cala that’s directly near the hotel is tiny.
Location had beautiful views
This hotel is very expensive for what it offers. The breakfast was good but the quality of dinners was pretty low given the price. The staff was okay but not very friendly. The beaches were tiny and overcrowded. Overall this was not impressive for a hotel that costs 500 euros a night
Absolutely gorgeous setting and very nice hotel! Staff were great and we loved our stay!
The only complaint is the doors are not soundproof so you can often easily hear noise in the hall ways. A sound machine helps and hopefully people are courteous when coming in late at night.
Great location on the Costa Brava. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Quaint vibe.
This isn't really a property for international travelers. More like a 1970s style popular European resort. Very distant from any luxury feel.
Comfy beds and rooms, nice staff and wonderful breakfast. The location was nice next to small calas, and near drive to Begur.
The restaurant unfortunately is not very good, and very expensive. The service is top, so you expect a better quality meal, but it's very average, and expensive.
The location is quite beautiful . We especially liked the summer dinner menu( but the wait staff didn’t seem to understand their own menu). The breakfast buffet is great. Make sure to check out the orange juice machine!! The room was immaculate!! There are no elevators so you might be in for a hike to access your room. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and there is no valet to take care of the parking for you. The beach is public and a bit of a downhlll hike. The hotel is like an M.C.Escher drawing .
No elevators and shower can scald on occasion. Bidet is a useless garden hose affair.
Location and views are amazing. Everything is superb quality - staff, facility, views of the sea, breakfast
Food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was too expensive given what it was .. 16 eur for gazpacho soup is too much given I could get the same soup for 7 eur in town .. However, I guess you need to pay for the amazing views when you enjoy this soup :)
