    • Beautiful views

    Cons -

    • The room was in poor condition. Holes in the walls. Hard and uncomfortable mattress. The hot water in the shower only lasted 5 minutes. They also gave me two single beds instead of a double bed.
    • Bathroom was really bad, there was weird smell that really bothered us and we could not really sleep.
    • There are lots and lots of stairs, though the staff was accommodating in helping with our luggage, we also went during a not so busy time. I imagine during the summer you will need time muscles to carry luggage up and down the mountain

We stayed here one night before going to Paros. Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff and beautiful room

It would have been nice if breakfast started earlier as we had to check out at 8am

The view was perfect and location was very convenient. Breakfast was decent. It included specific options.

The photos in booking are misleading. We paid for an executive triple room to be spacious and in front of the sea and the room was on the side of the terrace, small, dark and without private balcony table/ chairs. There was only one window in front of the bed with no curtains and the view was to the terrace, not the sea. If we want to have window open to have light, everyone from the terrace could see us since it was a shared terrace. WiFi connection was bad, the last day there was a problem and no signal at all, not even for our personal data. Stuff was polite but not accommodative.

Just the view from the room booked was impressive !

The room was smelling foul , maybe could be the bathroom or the room itself was not smelling good. Booking.com listed the property would have certain facilities but there were just half of them. The hair dryer was worse . Overall not good for the amount paid.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful, being on the cliff's edge it had spectacular sunset views. Great daily breakfast! Centrally located to the shops, yet once inside the hotel compound, you wouldn't know there was BUSY foot traffic from the hotel's location and "guest's only" policy. Booking through Booking.com we feel we received a fair price for what we got. We checked with the hotel directly and pricing was substantially more expensive. Had we paid that amount, we would have been quite disappointed for the dollar value of our room.

Place could use a little updating: bathroom sink had mildew in the corners due to the way the faucet is set into that corner. The light up our personal flight of stairs to our room did not work so we had to watch our step carefully and at times use our phone flashlight to see the lock to the door. There was a big empty space in the room, like a large closet without doors, which was great, however there was only a single luggage rack. It would be helpful to have a dresser or shelves in that big wasted space. Having a secondary very small closet with hangers to hang a few items was helped some. Otherwise there was nowhere else to store your clothing, therefore we were living out of our suitcase.

Fantastic view of the bay. Very good spot.

Very difficult to get cases from anywhere. A lot of steps.

I would prefer a buffet. They served a lot of food but most of it was left behind.Would have loved to have gotten Greek yogurt

Would have liked to have gotten an overview of our room. We didn’t know how to work the shower or the air conditioning. Didn’t find most of the staff very friendly

Amazing breakfast and nice pool area were we spent quite a bit of time.

The patio outside our room missed the sunset so instead we sat somewhere else on the property which was really lovely. Overall that was fine that we didn't sit right outside our room to see it.

It was in the heart of Fira on the cliffs with a magnificent view, absolutely stunning, we had a delightful terrace with views views and views, delightful to wake up every morning and night view. Lots of stairs and hard getting bags to the property if you have leg problems in which we didn’t but worth it. Shopping, restaurant’s at your doorstep, the cable car is around the corner. The staff were very helpful with local tourist attractions and we took their advice and took an all day boat ride on the Thalassis( probs spelt wrong) a beautiful old large tall ship, worth it. Santorini was a highlight of our trip especially staying at this hotel.

    Great view from our balcony

No choice of breakfast items. They brought the same tray every day. Cold eggs.Never with a napkin. The stairs to arrive at our room were a nightmare for a person over 70.

    9TrudyPosted on: 9-21-2024

View was spectacular. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and the location was perfect. Right in the middle of shops restaurants and bars. Transport by bus and taxi very close.

The stairs. We were in a triple room so at the very bottom of the hotel. The staff transported our bags up and down for us however we still had to navigate the 146 stairs up and down every day. Luckily everything else made up for that.

Great location right in the middle of everything. Pool area was nice & clean.

The rooms were very dated it could definitely do with a makeover. There shower wasn’t working when we first arrived but they soon come to sort the issue! The mattress was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on the floor also it was full of mould down one side! The noise from other rooms was just irritating you can literally hear everyone’s conversation and why we was there 3 different people stayed in the room next door so this became quiet annoying! Breakfast was ok but you aren’t asked what you’d like so there always a lot of waste and the coffee was never hot! There are lots and lots of steps to the room so not at all for the unfit/elderly. My husband is super fit and even he struggled… if your looking for luxury on the caldera view this isn’t the hotel you need although the views are outstanding from any part of the hotel the rooms let it down don’t be fooled by the pictures!

the view (also offered by most other hotels at the caldera)

The "elegantly decorated" "executive room" was quite basic, not welcoming, old cables sticking out, old drains covered with plastic bags, no real furniture (only desk and bed tables: functional & out of stone). The "private balcony" was not really private as the people of the next room had to walk over it to get to theirs, plus after night fall there was an annoyingly bright light switched on, making it uncomfortable to sit there.During night till past 2am, there was loud music playing at one of the bars/nightclubs above, which made it quite difficult to fall asleep. Even more disappointing as in the room description it mentions "soundproof".The breakfast was looking okayish, however, the scrambled eggs were cold.Probably except for the receptionist, the remaining staff felt somewhat disengaged and not welcoming. While the room looked indeed clean, there were a few ants running around including in the bed, and then I got quite shocked to find a cockroach running through the bedroom. As I was disappointed and not feeling able to sleep in a room where another cockroach might be present, I asked to check out costing me 645 Euro without any refund ... but found another hotel with a better view and an actually nice room at a lower rate. This hotel feels off, and I should have checked Google Reviews before booking as there are a lot of similar comments.
