Dream Island Hotel

Breakfast was excellent! The eggs, croissants, the fruit, all excellent The pool was very clean and very refreshing!

The pillows were thick … so had a few not so good sleep nights

Dream Island is a fabulous boutique hotel within walking distance of all of Fira but tucked away from the crowds. The receptionist is lovely and the pool and outside area are beautiful. Rooms were clean and nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location couldn't have been better- It's just outside of the busiest part of Fira, yet within a 3 minute walk of the town and easy access to the caldera side of Santorini. The room was clean (the lampshades were in rough condition, and the door needed a solid push to open it) but all other aspects were lovely. The pool area is very well maintained by staff, and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. The shower had both a hand-held spout and a rainshower shower head with great water pressure. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. Word of caution, though, for anyone using Google maps to get you here from the Fira bus station (10 minute walk away) - when choosing your route, if you'll be traveling on foot, be sure to stay on the main road and NOT take the suggested route which brings you through a labyrinth of alleyways and tells you the access point to this hotel is BEHIND and BELOW the hotel itself. Avoid my mistake, and stay on the main road- it brings you straight there, and there's a large sign on the road guiding you in.

Beautiful property with an amazing view. Very clean and well maintained

Staff is family-owned and very close knit with one another. The quality of service they provided was optimal for an amazing vacation in Fira.

Everything was outstanding…our expectations were exceeded every single day. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was out of this world. Staff was wonderful and beyond helpful. Fantastic location.

- Location of the hotel, close enough to the center of Fira that you can walk around without issues. You are even close to the bus station- The rooms are big and comfortable- The hotel staff did everything they could to help us, even when we asked to be the first to be served breakfast as it it starts at 8:00 am and we had to leave by 8:20 am- The pool area has a great view- Close to a minimarket to buy drinks or snacks- Great wifi internet connection, but a bit of bad signal in the pool area- Breakfast was very good and served to your room. 4 different types of breakfast you can choose from.

- Lack of power plugs next to the bed. On one side the phone was taking the only plug available. You could not have a phone charger and bedlight connected at the same time- While its close to the bus station, the way to the hotel is upward a hill and difficult if you have more than one bag/luggage per person- The shower was located pretty low so if you are a tall person (> 1.78 m) you will have issues fitting

This place was a dream! The beds were so comfortable, the people were lovely and welcoming and the location and view were perfect. The pool was so nice. Everything was so clean and breakfast was so fantastic! So much variety and fruit. We were sad to leave and hope to come back!

We loved that our room was comfortable, clean with a great view from the courtyard.We loved the lounge chairs and outdoor seating by the pool. Staff is courteous and helpful.Great location close to bus station and shops & restaurants.

Peaceful hotel with friendly staff. It was clean & the breakfast was amazing! Super outdoor areas to lounge & enjoy the weather.

A little hilly but manageable

Beautiful facility and excellent service! One of those dream lodgings you think of in Greece - white buildings scattered down a steep hillside with a blue pool. Some rooms are accessible by stairs, but ours was accessible totally by paved walkways. Staff will help with luggage anyway. Had chairs and table outside our room - perfect for eating breakfast there. Each room is unique. Our daughter's had a separate bedroom in an arched "cave" that was picturesque. All service was great, but Carolina was totally outstanding and helped arrange van transportation for our family and fulfilled other requests. We liked our driver, Chris, so much that we booked him for all our transport needs to Oia, to dinner, and later to the ferry. Property itself was easy walking distance to everything in Thira (of course, it's steep being Santorini).

Absolutely wonderful breakfast selection delivered directly to your room. We sat outside every morning enjoying our coffee and breakfast enjoying the beautiful views. We were a group of 10 and all commented on how hot and delicious the food was every day. I also want to give a shout-out to Caroline who helped us arrange cars and buggies. She was so helpful before we arrived and also on numerous occasions during our stay. She is a very valued employee I’m sure.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent and so helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at Dream Island Hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We were delighted that the hotel were able to facilitate us by letting us use their facilities on our last day as our flight wasn't until late in the evening. Location is ideal - hotel nice and quiet but still just a few minutes to the centre of Fira.

I loved how everything was so tidy and well kept in the hotel room, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the boy who delivered our breakfast every morning was very persistent and hardworking

The facilities, particularly the pool and comfortable poolside loungers, were excellent for relaxing. Everything was kept perfectly clean, and even the flowers and shrubbery were nicely tended.

It is quite a steep hike up to the main road from the hotel. But everything in Santorini’s involves steep hills, so I shouldn’t complain.

Clean , breakfast excellent and so quiet

You order breakfast the day before and it is served to your room. We found this to be a unique experience and enjoyed having our morning coffee and breakfast outside on the patio. The pool was a nice touch - large and well maintained.

We could not find any major issues. The staff were amazing and the facilities and our room were immaculate. The rooms are not very large but we managed without too much difficulty.

Great location. Perfect size room for three of us. Loved our quaint little table and chairs outside our room and seen the most beautiful sunrise is right outside our door. It made it very nice that the hotel is not so massive and we enjoyed talking with other guests and the pool area was so welcoming and comfortable. They had us hooked up with an amazing driver and we would definitely use this hotel again.

Really liked everything about the hotel. They did work on our toilet, which would run quite often and did get annoying at times.
