LavaRock Santorini

Fantastic location very close to Black Beach, lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Owner was very attentive to all our needs, always smiling and being helpful. As we were the last customers of the season, he even offered us full minibar for free. Very happy with our stay.

The hotel was perfect for us! It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach and loads of restaurants which is super convenient. The hotel room had everything we needed, and they cleaned and refreshed it daily. The balcony and mini fridge were really nice and the swimming pool is great! The staff were really friendly, polite and helpful and I would definitely stay here again if returning to Santorinin!

Location is perfect. Can walk to the beach and restaurants. The pool is beautiful. Aircon tin the room walls a treat. The gentleman at reception was lovely. Helpful and very friendly.

Not much shade by the pool. Shower curtains feel a bit dirty.

Location was perfect and the room was spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony. Nikiforos was a cheerful, friendly host and was always on hand if we needed anything.

Many things needs to improve! But the price is cheaper so its understandable! i am rating it base on how i paid.

beautiful swimming pool , nice location with mountain view and a little bit of see view

for a family with 2 kids , the room is a little bit small and warm . iflt gets warm if you don't turn on the AC. Owners could be more social and respond more subjective not like some boots

Accomodation exactly as photos. Lovely place to stay. It was about 5 min by walk to beach, bus stop is near and also supermarket and bakery.

If they offer breakfast it would be 11 stars from 10.

Niki "kutsko" front desk, housekeeping and chef is an exceptional man. We were greeted traditionally in Greek style...Gliko. Why so? Ask him, if he tells it, I don't mind. The rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. Without Niki the hotel would lose stars in the rating. Helpful, always smiling and making us feel better. Hotel rooms are big enough! We came on holiday to visit around not to dance in the hotel rooms right? Smaller sinks would increase the space a bit because there is really a lack of it and showers with cabin will be better. The curtains stick to the body which is annoying. The umbrellas next to the sunbeds are definitely ! !!!

Maria the hotel manager is one of the nicest people l've ever met. She looks after this small hotel on her own. Extremely helpful and always a smile for her guests.

The rooms are tiny, the pipes in the showers and in the sink are all rusty, the rooms are poorly furnished, very old cabinets, plastic bins, smelly dirty shower curtain ( it had not been chaned for ages). Not a good experience at all. The were not any shades /umbrellas in the pool area other than an olive tree providing some shade for only two sunbeds. No umbrella in the balcony (which had a marvellous view by the way) but you could not stand more than 10 min under the sun.

only a short walk to Perissa beach with a supermarket that sells decent coffee take outs for 2 Euros. We stayed at the property for a short last minute break as a family of 4, and it was well placed to visit other parts of this small and beautiful island. Quite snug for 4 adults as it has a double bed and sofa bed but would stay here again in a heartbeat. Good wifi and air con, a small fridge for drinks and a decent patio to sit on to take in the views. loved every minute - everyone needs to go to Santorini, my photos simply dont do it justice. Maria greeted us and was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is small with small rooms and has a nice pool (because there are only few rooms, sometimes it looked like belonged only to us). It is really close to the beach, still far away enough to be quiet and calm. Maria was a wonderful host. Would definitely come back again.

Maria was really friendly and helpful. She was always on hand to answer our questions about aircon/wifi etc. She kept our bags for us when we arrived early and also after we had checked out and had time to wait before our flight. We loved the pool and bar! Great value for four people, especially considering the pool and location - right next to Perissa beach, near brilliant bakery, supermarket, restaurants etc, but still quiet and peaceful.

The room was on the small side, there was a winding staircase leading up to the mezzanine which was a bit tricky to get up and down, plus the upper mezzanine level got a bit hot as the aircon didn't seem to reach up there.

The hotel is beautiful, located in Perissa only a few minutes walk from supermarkets, bakery, restaurants and the beach which is filled with tavernas suitable for lunch/dinner and little shops. The host Maria is excellent, very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The pool is amazing, there is only 4 sun loungers however, on the days we were by the pool we mostly had it to ourselves. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily with a change of linen and towels, includes a fridge also.
