- The WiFi was spotty and unreliable. The breakfast staff wasn't very courteous. They also struggled to get enough food out when it was getting busy. When I asked for olive oil to add to my vegetables, they asked for 2 euros extra. Never had this happen before and for sure wasn't expecting it in Greece. Room cleaning service wasn't the best.
- Although the hotel is considered 4 star - it would be a UK 3 star. Our triple room was definitely not a superior triple (which I had upgraded to). There was no cupboard space at all for 3 peoples clothes, so very disappointing. There was no kettle or coffee maker and the bathroom was quite dated and is in need of a refurbishment. However, that being said, the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Beautiful hotel. Great pools. The beach is right across the street. The staff are super helpful and nice.Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. A minimarket on-premises.Parking nearby, though it would help if they left the rear gate that leads directly to it open. Anyone can walk into the hotel freely through other entrances anyway, so not seeing the security concern.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and charming. We enjoyed our large balcony.
The location of the hotel was absolutely brilliant, as we were located right on the beach. The sunbeds and umbrellas were a bit dated compared to others, but it did the job. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant and had soo much variety, that it was hard to choose what to have but great selection for every eater (especially fussy ones at that).

Location
They ended up charging for amenities that had been promoted as “included” when I made reservation and when I paid and checked in.After 4 days of staying at hotel, I was notified I had to pay $15 euro a day for beach lounge chairs and umbrella. I went to speak to management and they said the owners decided to charge this fee “due to peak season”.This is why I thought the room charges were higher , was because its peak season.
Friendly staff but working under unethical management.
The rate we were quoted and paid included Beach access. This is our third time at this property and it always included Beach access. This time - on the fourth day - suddenly a new charge was added for the beach. Employees acknowledged this was a new charge and many clients were unhappy. However, even though management admitted that the charges were new and unexpected, no accommodation was made for previous clients who booked under the original rules.
The location is great, beach right in front. Hotel has its own beach chairs and they are free for guests. Pool is nice and well maintained. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Lots of restaurants and shops. Free parking.
The bed is on the firm side. On windy days, it would be nice if someone could oversee the hotel beach area. Fallen chair cushions and trash tend to make it look unkempt.
Location was perfect and hotel was very nice.
Bed was not super comfy and some rust in shower.
The location was good. Great restaurants and beachfront location.
The AC never cooled the room enough. It only stayed at 25 Celsius consistently even though I attempted to lower the temperature. The stairs leading up to loft beds were very steep and unsafe. The beds were hard and not very comfortable.
The facility is good. Great location- near beach, restaurants and shops.Very good towels. Good breakfast. Great staff.
The TV wasn’t working all time
Across from hotel
Breakfast was nothing special, sheets were very very scratchy, brand new out of a package and put on a bed. Tv did not work, internet in room and reception in room was terrible.
Hello,The staff and hotel was perfect, especially our new friend John at Reception and Elsa at Breakfast in the mornings. However I have the following observations:1. We had dinner on our first night, the dinner food in Pergola is terrible and really expensive, frozen pizza and 7.5e for chips !!2. Hotel bar too expensive, this is why we drank in ZEN bar most nights, LOWER your prices in bar. My wife bought a tea in the pool bar and it cost 4.5 euro ??
Bar drinks far too expensive, we drink there only once, Pergola restaurant dinner food is terrible.
Location, the staff are brilliant, food at then restaurant perfect
Location
Not coffee or tea in the room. Also I report the mattress was broken on one side and they just turned to the other side but not replaced it. Not complementary coffee tea or water in the room.
Lovely beachfront location. Extremely helpful and kind staff. Very pretty hotel.
I liked the location most of all, l wanted a relaxing week away and I got it! The hotel is literally looking onto the beach. It’s clean and staff were amazing - I can’t remember their names but two young men on reception were extremely helpful from the very beginning and never once failed in that. I would definitely go back and in fact, have a week booked in May to return to Veggera! The room was basic as was the bathroom, nothing fancy if that’s what you’re looking for.
The restaurant in the evening wasn’t my favourite part but totally fine just the same. I like to try out different places to eat so I was glad not to have booked full board. Breakfast was fine, lots of buffet options.
Location was excellent. Style of hotel was quite beautiful. Guy on reception was polite and pleasant.
One of our rooms had a bad drainage smell (though I moved on day 3 so just put up with it knowing we would be moving). We were travelling with young kids and had requested rooms side by side but we were very far apart (completely different annexes) for the first 2 nights which was massively inconvenient. The breakfast was terrible. Really bad. Awful coffee. Hot chocolate on day one and then never again which had the kids disappointed every morning. One of the nights someone was blaring music until 3am, I think from the road in a car. I dont know how the 24hr reception didnt hear as it came from that direction. I am a good sleeper and it takes a lot to disturb me but that was unbelievable and kept me awake between 1am and 3am. The cleanliness of the bathroom wasnt great, spit drips all around the outside of the sink bowl, I could only see it when I sat on the toilet so I guess housekeeping never thought to clean the whole sink. And my goodness the beds were hard. Second room even worse than first room. We're not that old and had such sore backs in the night. Such a pity to spend so much money and be fundamentally so uncomfortable.
Location
On arrival told our room had an electrical fault and we needed to move to another hotel not near the beach. After disagreeing they agreed to give us two room instead. The breakfast area was tired, the breakfast itself was that good, no labels on food, always out of plates, cups. Ran out of Joyce most days. Tge whole hotel was geared up to close, we even got turfed off the sun beds on the beach half way through day, 3 days before it closed. Then told that we needed to move hotels as the hotel was going to close early! So unbelievably we had to go back to the sister hotel for the last two days, packing up all and stuff. The hotel bar prices were ridiculously expensive.
