The Boathouse Hotel

Sonia went above and beyond in preparing our breakfast the night before as we were checking out very early the next day to catch our flight out

Boathouse breakfast was lovely, convenient, and even though I think breakfast start was a certain time, we were able to have coffee and enjoy the views of ocean and pool all at the same time. Location of hotel was wonderful for us being on the ocean and yet a transfer ride to main attraction of top view. Our group likes a low key area with less hustle and bustle but this might only be because it was end of season. Also, staff was extremely accommodating to order a transfer/taxi for our 5 person group.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day. The food was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options at every meal. Overall, I felt very well taken care of, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable stay.

Beachfront ,, charming, warm and helpful staff

Wonderful family run business, directly at the beach with undisturbed views. Nice pool and rooms. Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. Great sun rises. Our 2nd visit, won't be the last.

There was nothing I didn't like.Others might dislike the closeness of Kamari to the airport - you can see and hear the planes coming in. Did not bother us.The hotel does not have TVs - a bliss for a relaxed vacation if you ask me.

The accommodation I stayed for three days was comfortable and wonderful. Especially, it was located right in front of the beach, so it was good to spend all day on the beach. The hotel staff also helped me well with the tour schedule. Breakfast is attractive. I highly recommend it.

Location close to the airport. 6 minutes by car. If you are private to airplane noise, consider deciding on accommodation at Kamari Beach. But Not bad for me.

location across from the beach, breakfast was really well prepared and over catered...there was plenty of options! room was always cleaned and new towels supplied, the pool is a good size for the amount of people

our rooms were located adjacent to the pool bar, with young kids it was pretty loud on some evenings to the early hours of the morning, more our problem than anyone else's...., the wifi in the rooms didn't work more then it worked but was ok in the open areas, No TV in the rooms to chill out between exploring the island, this beach and where this hotel is located its in the direct landing path to the airport, with planes running from 6am to midnight

Pretty, traditional hotel with a beautiful pool area in wonderful Kamari. Surrounded by lots of great bars and restaurants and only 20-minutes on the bus from Fira making it really easy to explore the whole island. Good breakfast, very clean, nice modern bathrooms. Great value for money!

The location is amazing, loved being able to hear the sea at night. Our room was fantastic, view across to the beach was wonderful. It was definitely worth getting up early to see the sunrise over the sea. The staff were great; super helpful and friendly. Lovely family run hotel would love to visit again some day.

Needed some tables next to your sun beds.

We were looking for somewhere special to relax as our twins had just worked hard for their GCSE exams, and this was perfect! This is a wonderful family business with a really friendly and helpful team. One of the owners, Will, made fabulous cocktails for us at the poolside bar and told us interesting information about the island from a local’s point of view. Breakfast was fantastic, varied and all fresh and delicious! They have created a pretty setting which is welcoming, and has a very relaxing ambiance. We had two rooms next to each other with private balconies overlooking the pool and this was great! The rooms were clean, comfortable and had effective air-con and good Wi-Fi. We went mid-July and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool (which were very comfortable), and tables with Hawaiian style parasols between the pool and bar which we used when we preferred more shade, and also used in the evening. We all enjoyed the pool, and the location is ideal right on the beach (with a path between the hotel and beach), and the waterfront is lined with restaurants, bars and shops. The walk to the bus stop is pleasant and less than 10 minutes. We used the buses a lot as we found them simple to use, clean and have air-conditioning, but at certain times they can get busy. That said, The Boathouse were very happy to book us a taxi when we wanted one, and they also organised our arrival and departure transfers which went very smoothly. We had a superb holiday staying at The Boathouse with memories to treasure!

A minor point to note is that there are no smoke detectors in the bedrooms so we personally chose not to charge our phones overnight.

Nothing to dislike

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, from the friendly welcome and hospitality by Will and the staff upon arrival (and the duration of our stay) to the great breakfast and relaxed vibes of the hotel. We have every intention of returning again.

A little gem! The nicest people and the best location on the beach with many shops & restaurants along the promenade. Breakfast was one of the best we had in the Greek islands. Rooms & bathrooms clean and comfortable. WiFi and Aircon were brilliant too.

The hotel is located really close to the sea. While eating breakfast you can enjoy really nice views. There are also rooms.woth sea view. The rooms are clean and tidy. There was an Air conditioner in our room as well and I suppose every room has one. Bathroom and big which was a nice surprise :) Breakfast was tasty and there was enough choice. There were always enough freshly prepared meals. Hotel is small so it is also quite cozy and quiet. Hotel crew was really friendly and nice.

There could be a bit more light above the mirror and no electricity in the bathroom for a hairdryer. But this is minor

Everything ! The view , the position on beach , quieter end) the pool , the BREAKFAST all were amazing ! The staff were super friendly and it was wonderful having the on-site bar in the afternoons . We would return everytime when we go over to Greek islands .

Not to do with property . The Sea at kamari is challenging to get into even with beach shoes , rocks were slippery . Therefore it was AMAZING TO HAVE THE HOTEL ON THE BEACH , with view of sea and then have a stunning pool to swim in at the BOATHOUSE hotel ?
