    Pros +

    • Hotel probably has seen better days, however, it is clean, very good location, reasonable value for the money.
    • We got exactly what we expected and paid for. Price/value ratio is excellent. It is a nice hotel with all the facilities that one may need. Swimming pool is big and crystal clean, rooms are spacious and clean. It sits right on the beach so one can choose where to swim without having to walk virtually any distance. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are very good, with reasonable choice of main and side dishes, all tasty and accompanied with decent selection of desserts.
    • The breakfasts were very good and the food was always fresh and well prepared. The drink selection was good. The staff did a great job of making sure all of the serving trays were well-supplied.

    Cons -

    • Paradise Lost at Kamari Beach HotelWe stayed here seven years ago and loved it, but this time was a disaster. The air conditioning in our sea-view room barely worked, the hallway reeked of smoke, and the water in the bathroom stopped running altogether. After repeated complaints, we were moved to another room where the AC and water functioned—but the shower didn’t drain and we had to shower ankle-deep in water. What made it worse was the management. Every issue was met with excuses or blame-shifting. When I asked for a refund for the difference in price for the downgraded room we were forced to accept, the manager refused.Sadly, Kamari Beach Hotel is no longer the charming oasis it once was. Save yourself the frustration and book at Afrodite Hotel next door, or any other hotel in Kamari.
    • Room is very sparse, basic, drab and needs updating, especially the bathroom which is very small/cramped with barely any room to stand or turn around. The shower is dark and very narrow/cramped. We stayed in a SUPERIOR suite with sea view room which we thought might be a bit more luxurious but it wasn’t. NO complimentary bottled water, Kleenex, lotion, cotton pads, q tip ear swabs , emery board, shower caps or other toiletries or slippers or robe. Only small tubes of shampoo, shower gel & small soaps. No fresh fruit or juice at breakfast, only canned fruit and orange flavored drink with no real juice. No elevator for upper floors.
    • The rooms are quite small as well as the bathroom.

Location is terrific. Beautiful beach and convenient to restaurants and shops.

The staff was excellent! The hotel is well located, just by the beach. They made me feel at ease with my two year old daughter.Breakfast and dinner were tasty with variety. Special thanks to Dino and his restaurant team!!

The rooms are quite small as well as the bathroom.

Manager was very helpful when our ferry was cancelled and called a couple different places to get us the information we needed

Rooms are not great, stained bed coverings, no blanket, only a sheet. Shower in the bathroom was small, when you turn on the faucet, it sprays outside of the shower. When you turn on the shower head, you barely have enough room to move around and the shower curtain comes in and sticks to you.

Excellent friendly staff, this was our second visit to Kamari beach hotel because we had a great time the first time. We had a late flight and Margarita went out of her way to make our family stay less stress-full and extended our check out time. Thank you Margarita we will be back soon.

Beautiful pool, good sized family run hotel. Staff friendly and good value as we stayed half board in low season. Beautiful location and plenty of good local restaurants and shops nearby and as Santorini is compact you can easily get to the caldera towns for the day.

Room for a family was good sized, split level, but rather light due to glass blocks and external lights on all night and small balcony.

We had an exceptional stay at Kamari Beach Hotel! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they even let us check in a few hours early, which was a great start to our trip. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location is perfect—right on a private beach, which was super convenient and relaxing. It’s also really easy to get to Oia or Fira by bus or taxi or rented car, so exploring the island was no problem at all.The food was amazing! Both the breakfast and dinner buffets had a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Greek dishes—there were always tasty local options like moussaka and fresh salads, which made the experience feel even more authentic.Overall, my family and I had a fantastic time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Santorini

Pool and proximity to beach. Lunch food. Architecture of hotel.

Breakfast/ dinner food could be better and didn't like that ran out of key aspects of breakfast.Customer service eg. Friendliness and not forfilling requests.

    10JanicePosted on: 10-27-2024

Easy access to all amenities. Good food. No charge for sun beds.

Triple room could have been a bit bigger. Shower a bit cramped.

    10ThaavinaashPosted on: 10-26-2024

The hotel was right on the beach. Staff were lovely! It’s down the bottom end of the strip so it’s quiet and peaceful but still vibrant. Pool was clean and the rooms were lovely. We got a free upgrade too!

Breakfast could be better but nothing to complain! Everything was lovely.

Great location, lovely big pool and lots of shade around. Bar staff and restaurant staff really helpful.

Reception on arrival was extremely rude and unhelpful to all our group and our group leader in particular. Clearly under pressure but no excuse for the completely unhelpful response to any question.Bar, breakfast and a la carte restaurant great but dinner buffet was poor.Room had great sea view but tiniest bathroom with bath taps in the shower meaning you had to manoeuvre round the taps to use the shower.

From arrival at reception to departure, everything was absolutely perfect. We ordered a room with a sea view, we received a large apartment sea view, clean, nicely furnished, spacious. The sunrise from the balcony was fascinating. The staff at the reception was welcoming, all smiling and in a good mood. Huge selection of food in the restaurant for breakfast, smiling waiters. Very tasty mixed drinks and excellent Greek dishes at the bar by the pool, which were also brought to the beach. The beach was clean, plenty of sunbeds. There are taverns and shops near the hotel, where we spent time after dinner. Opposite the hotel there is a scooter and quad bike rental. We traveled the entire island on a quad bike and saw the beauty of the island. I highly recommend the Kamari beach hotel.

Wonderful hotel and amazing staff set right in front of the beach! Very impressive cliff feature on the beach, like a wall in the sea! We were upgraded to a room with sea and pool view at no extra charge! Breakfast and pool was fabulous! The largest pool size of all the hotels along the sea front! We will definitely return always here!

Thank you very much for your hospitality and amazing room charges affordable to most families but benefiting of great services!

We stayed here for one night while waiting for a late evening flight. We normally stay on quiet islands so this was inevitably a compromise. Having said that, we felt we had made a good choice. Very easy access to the pool area and to the beach beds. The staff were very helpful in terms of storing our luggage and we were able to use an empty room for a pre-flight shower. A good choice of restaurants and bars nearby.

The breakfast buffet didn't get seem to get topped up at all, so when we ate many of the options were not available. Our room was a bit cave like and needed some updating.

    9VimalPosted on: 9-8-2024

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Also has its own section on the beach with loungers and shades, which was nice

The showers were awkward, with limited space and thin shower curtains which get sucked in.

    10GabrielaPosted on: 9-3-2024

Excellent hotel by the beach front with a very large swimming pool like none other in Santorini or Kamari! The access to the beach is just crossing the pedestrian road by exiting the property from the pool. Very beautiful view of the white cliff projecting into the blue waters of the sea and black pebbled beach. We had a room with the view to the pool and sea, being probably upgraded from a budget room booking. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, hard to find same hospitality in other locations in Greece. The breakfast was much better than the 5* hotels we stayed in mainland and you can find tables to seat with pool / sea view. They also have lots of water rings/ floaties which are very appealing to use drifting into the pool or the sea! Top quality hotel, in my view I would grade it much more than 3*! They aim for clients who can enjoy an amazing hotel when they are on a budget holiday. Fantastic location, fabulous pool, amazingly polite people! We will definitely return !

Nothing about the hotel! But I would like to advise you either rent a car for your stay or arrive before 11pm so you can use the airport bus to Fira for 2€. Taxi service is a rip off, 10min drive to Kamari - charge 25-30€, 20min drive to Fira - charge 45€…. All local buses services are very good and you can get a print out of their timings from your hotel. Only €2 per trip! They run up to midnight but all come to Fira for connections to other locations, you have to change in Fira (capital)
