Hotel employee was very helpful and very nice guy

Friendly and helpful staff, the owner M. Akis went out of his way to help, comfortable room, with balcony

You have to leave the key in a shelf when leaving, shelf is not supervised

Everything is really clean and modern, with a good bathroom and comfy beds. The staff were all very friendly and always made sure to say good morning/night and to talk to us. The room was very spacious and the AC worked perfect.The location is as good as it gets, just a few steps from the beach front.

Nothing I disliked. This was my 4th time visiting Santorini and it's the best hotel I've stayed in.

No pool

The location is just perfect, with many nice restaurants nearby and very close to beach. Mr. Akis and his wife couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The room is simple in typical Greek islands style, but it has everything that's necessary for a holiday including a fridge. The bed is hard but surprisingly very comfortable. The towels and bed linen are changed every few days.

Not sure what the daily cleaning should consist of, as wash basin and toilet seat were not cleaned.

The location is amazing, just a short walk from one of the best beaches on the island, but also far enough from the bustling nightlife. It's a perfect base for exploring any part of Santorini, whether it's the island itself or the surrounding archipelago. Akis, the host, is exceptional and always there to assist with anything you need.

Regrettably, the room we were assigned was located on the basement floor, so we didn't have a pleasant view. However, since we were only there to sleep, it turned out to be worth it in the end, especially considering the affordable price.

Excellent location, many places to eat nearby and a nice view from verandah. Very clean, modern room. The staff and owner Mr Akis are all very friendly and helpful. We booked a tour with reception, Mr Akis waited for the bus with us and made sure we were in the right spot and got on the correct bus. Such kindness is always appreciated on holidays.

I like that the hotel is located in the middle of Kamari, just 2 mins to the beach and same to the walking street full of restaurants/bars and shops.The hotel is nice, we had a beautiful view to the mountains. The room was clean, and we had a daily cleaning as well. The stuff was amazing, especially Mr. Akis. He was extremely helpful and taking care of us :) highly recommended hotel. If I visit Kamari again, I’ll stay at Akis hotel.

Very clean, cosy and comfortable with a very good location, just a walk away from the beach and a fantastic bakery. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Mr. Akis!

Everything was good, excellent location, hotel with very good design, the owner is a knowledgable person and very cordial and friendly. The hotel is close to the beach (1 block) and the neighborhood has a lot of good restaurants.

Very clean and quiet. Perfect location steps away from the beach, restaurants, bakeries, and a pool bar. Easy 15 minute bus into Thira. Super friendly staff and an amazing stay.

The owner is very kind and caring, I recommend this for your stay .Quiet area and close to the beach .

Very nice location, near the beach, with very nice and helpful people. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nearby, 5-10 min walk, is the bus station that goes to Fira every 30 min.

just 5 min from the beach and plenty of restaurants, car rental and diving center in just 1 mingreat staff, concierge even helped me hold the tour bus while I was running a bit late, and also helped me to order taxi to the airport there is also hotel pet - cat Takis who is adorable ?

Very friendly staff made a stay so comfortable. Always a lot of smiles, good advice, positive attitude. The owner, Akis, is so kind and caring. It was a great pleasure to talk to him. He helped a lot with all my questions.Separate shoutout to Aurel (sorry, if I misspelt this name). He is a young guy working there during the summer season (if I understood correctly). He is literally the most heartwarming person I've ever seen. He was very responsive, always wishing a good day, helped organising excursions and was superbly fun to have a chat with.The room was very good too. New bathroom, personal vault, comfortable bed, fridge, kettle - everything was all right.After looking at reviews of other hotels in Kamari, I was afraid of the following things (which seem to be typical in Kamari):1. Unpleasant smell in rooms.2. Noise from planes and reception.3. Lack of hot water in the evenings.I can assure you that it's not the case in the Akis hotel. None of these problems have been observed. I'm totally satisfied!

Actually, nothing severe I didn't like.One of the things is that they seemed to forget to change beddings. I saw a lot of hair on the pillows and a little dirt on the bed linen.

Location is really good, close to everything, and the room was exceptionally clean. The hotel is nice and very, very clean. Mr. Akis, his wife and the gentleman at the front desk are very nice and helpful people. Kamari is a great location.

Smoking in the lobby. Fortunately the smell wouldn't get the rooms.
