- Convenient Location, Room had a very nice view, Polite Personnel.
- Friendly staff
- The food and all staff specially Leo and the receptionists were very helpful specially Elena. The environment and locations was great.
Cons -
- The low rating goes to the hotel upper management. The facilities are clearly badly maintained with many issues that do not meet 4 star-hotel standards. Our room clearly had many issues but we didn't change to a different one since it was spacious. It was not just our room though, Overall, the hotel shows signs of tare a ware beyond one season and points to poor maintenance (e.g. moving pool ladder, rusty features, broken door handles, malfunctioning toilets, windows not closing properly or stuck). The crew was very polite and tried to accommodate , but they can only do as much to manage a falling apart hotel. We visited in early Oct.25. It seems that whatever gets damaged never gets replaced or fixed.
- They opened for the season the day we got there so things really unorganized
- The bathroom was always giving bad smell and the zaccusi we had never used because water was very cold.

All our stay was superb. We went for our honeymoon there and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The room was spacious and comfortable. We even had a private pool which made the time we were there extra special! We would totally recommend it.
The way to get there is a little challenging but totally worth it.
The spacious swimming pool and sun terrace are excellent for relaxation. The hotel is clean and attention is paid to the details. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly; in fact, only one man was working the whole time, Lio (I think that was his name), and he ensured that everyone was happy and served on time. The breakfast is good and care was taken to serve something different daily
Location. The communication of the reception staff could be better.
When we arrived at Antinea we were greeted by friendly staff who took us to our room. We were given a room with an outside pool and the staff had placed champagne in the room because it was our honeymoon which was lovely. The room was clean and tidy and right next to the bar/restaurant (we didn’t hear a thing from it at night or in the morning). The breakfast is lovely with a wide selection of food and the lunch menu is amazing. We stayed in twice to have lunch because the club sandwiches were delicious. Dinner was great, too. The pool is well looked after and never too busy; there’s plenty of beds and loungers for people to enjoy with a cold drink - we loved the Zombie cocktail. The staff are incredible and what makes this hotel brilliant. We don’t know their names, but the two men (one older and one very young) who did the shift on breakfast and day bar were lovely and very kind. We had an amazing, relaxing honeymoon and we would definitely recommend Antinea. Thank you for making our honeymoon so wonderful.
The hill to the hotel was difficult to climb after being in the sun all day, so I would keep this in mine if you have young children. There was also an eggy smell sometimes in the bathroom, but we found this smell elsewhere in other restaurants’ bathrooms, too. The music throughout the day was a few songs on repeat which did get very repetitive so it could be changed but we just used our headphones.
We had a great week in Antinea Hotel. The location was great, the staff was very friendly and kind! For my daughter's birthday they surprised us with balloons, a cake and a birthday card. We truly recommend it!
Beautiful location and facilities, with helpful and attentive staff
The staff were pleasant and friendly, even if they didn’t speak English they always tried to help.
- The room was tired, budget two star at most, 80s style. Definitely not like the picture we saw online! False advertising.- there was no sofa in the room- false advertising. The room we booked had a sofa in room description.- there were metal banging noises outside the balcony between 1-2am. We could hear our neighbours also. From around 6-7am more noise outside. Don’t dream about having a lie in after a late night flight. From 5:30am UK time (7:30am Greek time) the housekeeping staff are making lots of noise and have loud conversations. We didn’t sleep all night.- the aircon barely worked- v old, and was leaking water, so made a dripping noise. The room was v hot.- the bathroom had an eggy smell- the toilet didn’t flash properly - no tea and coffee making facilities- false advertising. When we asked, we were given a rusty kettle and 3 herbal tea bags and were told yea and coffee was at breakfast. The room listing specifically states tea AND coffee making facilities in the room. This was important to us. No milk either, of course.- the mini fridge didn’t work, it was warm inside and smelled awful!- we did complain to reception after check in and were told there was no manager and that we had to stay in that room. We were told to come back at 11am next morning. As we didn’t sleep we were on the phone to Booking.com since 7:30am. The general manager ‘reviewed’ our case and we were asked to pay 130 euros instead of 178 for that night! We were shocked. The experience was horrific. We will be seeking compensation. We had to move to another hotel, which we had to find ans book ourselves and also pay for a taxi to get there. No problems at the new hotel, it’s lovely. All of this was the beginning of our honeymoon.
Property is in good location not far from the beach strip and restaurants but far away enough to be nice and peaceful. Must note that the hotel is right at the top of the hill so the walk up may be a bit of a struggle for some. Rooms were nice and spacious and main pool area was lovely and well kept. Calm and quiet atmosphere. Room service food was delicious and the girls at reception were very helpful.
Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed overall with the facilities at the hotel. Being a 4 * and for what I paid it didn’t live up to my expectations. Furniture was a bit tatty and rooms were very outdated. We had a junior suite with a private pool which was nice but the sun lounge cushions were stained and the parasol was broken. Also a couple of the outside pool lights were broken which I did mention to reception twice but nothing was done, so was quite dark when we wanted to use the pool at night. TV was useless satellite didn’t work which I also mentioned to reception and it was fixed the same day but signsl was still pretty poor and kept buffering so gave up on it in the end. Air conditioning could also do with being improved as there is one by the bed but it’s now powerful enough to reach the suite area and the rooms get a little stuffy. Lock on our room door was so fiddly we had loud of trouble with it when entering and leaving the room. No lock on bathroom door - handle was broken. Coffee machine was broken. Only had breakfast once even though it was included with our room as our experience wasn’t great. Eggs and beans were stone cold - I don’t think there heaters work which was a shame as put us off for the rest of our stay. Rest of our breakfast wasn’t too bad, and there was a pretty good selection. Also electricity went off 3 times throughout our stay which obviously isn’t ideal.
Great room with a small pool (free upgrade)Great breakfast.
The climb to the hotel from the center.
Lovely and helpful staff, more than happy to help plan and sort any issues or requests you may have. Thank you! Views were exceptionalRooms cleaned regularlyGreat breakfastPool was clean and access to sun-beds and towels each day was easy.
No tea and coffee in the roomAir conditioning was temperamental in some of the rooms we had booked, although once reported always happy to sort.
Everything was perfect, hotel, pool, food and staff too.Thank you for a pleasant time spent.
Me and my Partner had an amazing stay here at Antinea. Everything was perfect! Hotel staff was so friendly and helpful! We couldn’t of asked for anything more. Room and Jacuzzi was clean, breakfast was lovely! Everything met out expectations. Would 100% recommend and would come and stay here again!
I can’t really say there was anything we didn’t like. Other than the hill to walk back to the hotel, but everywhere in Santorini you had steep climbs, so wouldn’t say this was a bad thing.
Lovely small hotel , had very much a family feel ,the breakfast selection was very good , and the staff are amazing , Maria in reception was exceptional
The hotel itself sits up a hill , the walk up and down was a little hard especially for the older generation
The view was amazing and the hotel was only a short walkable distance from the beach
The manager was argumentative when told that they never responded to my email regarding the accuracy of the pictures of the room I had reserved
The hotel was beautiful and the staff and employees were all super friendly and helpful. Both the free breakfast and any meals we ate there were great!
The room could’ve been a little cleaner when we first checked in but they did a good job throughout our stay.
Perfect stay and perfect hotel. Maximum comfort. The restaurant food is so delicious, prices lower than anywhere and portions are giant!)Pool always clean and pool area super enjoining and comfortable. I guess best view in Kamari.
Staff was extremely helpful
The location is relatively close to beach and shops but on a very steep hill that very difficult to climb, especially in the heat.
I loved that we stepped out of our room onto a small terrace with a jacuzzi and an olive tree. we spent a lot of time out there and we were right by the main pool.
We often ran out of toilet paper. More could be distributed and there wasn’t a kettle to make tea in the room but neither things were a problem really.
