The only thing I didn't like about the resort was that smoking is allowed everywhere. It was difficult to find a spot near the pool and the beach to avoid smokers. I booked the resort because of the kids' club and because it is family-friendly. I didn't expect smoking to be permitted on the property. I will not recommend it to my friends and family, and I will not return.

Heavenly place. The hospitality here is beyond exceptional. Welcomed us and the kids warmly. The staff are all amazing starting from our Arabic assistants Tamara & Mehtab, also Tayfun, they all kept communication on point. Kids Club was another great place the children never wanted to leave there. The food selection and quality is excellent, Khalil always welcomed us when we arrived. The spa, I was with Fatimah and she took good care of me. There was also professional photographers on site, we worked with an Arabic speaking photographer for family pics, he was amazing. Finally, check-out went smoothly and on time.

Check-in took some time. At the kids club., i wished there were Arabic speaking caregivers, and an Arabic Teddy book. Some areas could use better a/c like the 24/7 restaurant. At the aqua slides, there were not enough sliding donuts especially the double type, and most guests seemed greedy and not giving turns.

The service was actually beyond my expectations it was amazing, the kids area is actually amazing.

Landscaping, size, pools and slides

Low number of sun beds, it’s always a struggle to find one on pools and beach. Also, the food was good, but not great, the variety was good but the quality and taste was average. Eggs on multiple days were overcooked and burned from the bottom. Service during meals time wasn’t as expected, it was slow and we almost always had language barriers as not all staff clearly understand English.

Amazing facilities for kids. Beautiful garden and pools. Good service, excellent fish at the restaurant. We loved the ice cream and macarons.

The extra charge for taxis (paid double the price from hotel to airport vs from the airport to the hotel).

The hotel really had a very varied and powerful children's area and children's programme. The territory was clean and the range of services and facilities was impressive.

We had serious problems with immediate service. Our door cards stopped working on the second day of our stay and the problem could not be fixed, repeatedly more than 10 times each day being left behind the door was an unpleasant experience. Normally the hotel will respond to such inconvenience and compensate for the damage, but this opportunity only arose after talking to the management. However, we were only staying at the hotel at the beginning of the season, and the expectation is that such situations are learned from.

We stayed one week before Easter. We had a family lagoon Appartement. Which was perfect with two boys sleeping in a separate room. Overall it is a great hotel and I think ideal for families. A high level of service and spacious areas to relax. A heated pool outdoors and one indoors which was great for the April season. We used the SPA, beach canapé, kids pool also heated and club was great. Overall for a week of getting some sun and relaxing time, it is the best experience we have had.We can recommend the Ela without hesitation and wish all who stay there a wonderful time!

I very almost cancelled our reservation and booked elsewhere due to some other reviews but I’m so glad I didn’t! This was a great hotel with fantastic facilities, especially for children. Good food, and many food options, beautiful and well maintained landscaping and resort grounds, and the Ela Assistants that looked after us were excellent. Super responsive and helpful, always on hand to help and organise our meal bookings and went out of their way to ensure a great stay - we would definitely come back! We are a family with a 9 year old who frequently visit 5* luxury family resorts and despite this resort being more on the lower end of our budget I can safely say that the kids club here is the BEST we have experienced in any luxury family resort to date. Great provision from baby through to teens and this was worth its weight in gold!

The vast majority of staff were fantastic, extremely friendly and polite. Unfortunately there were a few instances (predominantly with the same individual who looked to be a manager) where the service wasn’t so great. Generally a sharp and rude manor in the way he interacted with guests - this was disappointing however we overlooked this given that the general service was great. The prices in the resort shops are absolutely ludicrous! As an example I picked up a generic high street sun cream and was quoted €35 - I could happily afford this but refused on principle for something I could buy for less than £5 elsewhere. Similarly, a pair of basic Havianas flip flops for €75. I don’t mind paying more for quality but these prices were clearly unreasonably inflated which meant I lost trust and didn’t bother visiting any of the other shops on resort.

The resort offers exceptional luxurious atmosphere, facilities and comfort. Food is excellent, you get all you need for a comfortable stay.

It was crowded, too many families with babies and toddlers, baby carriages all over the place, noisy everywhere, even in the spa zone and the pool. If you wish to have relaxing holidays October is not the best time. Evening concerts start around 22:00 and last until after midnight so no sleep before that.

My son got sick there and we went to the doctor in the resort and 1st thing he said to check you you will need to pay 135 Euros and we said okay then he start the check and after he checked he said I am not a pediatric so you need to send your son to the local hospital so thewy can check so not sure what was that 135 Euros for. food was okay but not very tasteful and not much variety! Its an all inclusive but when you go to 24/7 restaurant and you order anything they ask you for room number and if you order extra Coca they ask you for room number and same for LA sofa restaurant which make you uncomfortable.

A disaster from start to finish, more like a hostel than a 5* hotel.

The room cleaning service was terrible every day.The beds were always badly made, the floors were sticky and dirty, as was the bathroom. They just ‘tidied up the room’ a bit and left. Needless to say that we mentioned more than once that the service was terrible (photos attached).The F&B service is the worst we have ever experienced in our lives. It is an All-Inclusive where you have to pay in almost every restaurant you go to and the service is lousy.You had to remind them 3 or 4 times to bring you the things you asked for. The baby seats were always dirty and they ‘cleaned’ them with a napkin.In the Greek restaurant, they forgot to bring us the main courses, obviously, they charged us for them anyway.In the Japanese restaurant (which you also have to pay for), we made a reservation at 7:00 pm and they ended up serving us at 8:30 pm.One day we ordered room service (where they also charge for the dishes), and they didn't send us what we ordered. A cheeseburger without cheese, and a ham and cheese sandwich without ham…Faced with all these problems, the F&B manager requested a meeting with us to solve the problems. Not only did the disrespectful guy not go to the meeting, but he sent his assistant who does not speak English and could not make any decision. Waste of time and a total lack of respect. In that meeting we agreed not to pay for the room service, because it was a joke, and they were going to tell us how they were going to solve the other problems.Finally, when it was time to check out we were still being charged for the room service....Again they told us that the F&B manager and the Guest Experience manager would come to apologize and fix the issue. We were waiting for half an hour and they sent again 2 assistants who did not speak English and charged us for the room service that they had sent wrong.... really unbelievable, since we had problems throughout the stay and in almost all the restaurants.

Extraordinary kids facilities. Fast and friendly service. Great shows and entertainment on daily basis

Everything was absolutely incredible for our toddler. I was amazed by the pools and kids club and how lovely the staff were to her. She loved the flowers and wild animals/fish. The food was amazing, as were the facilities. Really cannot fault it and we had the best time.

We knocked a point as the wifi isn’t great and we had some issues with the room being cleaned.
