    Pros +

    • The breakfast was fantastic and the location was perfect, right by the train station! It was quiet and they provided toiletries. Although the room was very small, it was great for the price.
    • The location of the hotel is strategically next to the Funabori station. A lot of eatery around the hotel and AEON just located next door, and a pharmacy at the end corner lot. Basically, it it easy to get food. The hotel provides welcome drinks starts after 4pm and free coffee for whole days (as much as you want). The check in counter has an English native speaking staff that makes the check in a lot much more easier compared to other hotels that we stayed in Japan. The hotel prepares amenities near the check in counter where we can take whatever we needed for the stay.
    • Experience the ultimate convenience in this vibrant Tokyo block, where effortless travel to anywhere in the city meets a self-contained haven of amenities. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with a spotlessly clean and safe environment, perfect for both locals and visitors. From bustling streets to serene corners, this neighborhood offers everything you need right at your doorstep, making it the ideal base for exploring all that Tokyo has to offer. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing stay or an adventurous getaway, this area has it all!

    Cons -

    • The room was a little too hot and the bed could have been more comfortable.
    • The bathroom which is one stair higher from the floor. It is difficult for our elderly with knees problems. Otherwise the hotel is pretty good.
    • Everything was ok

    Breakfast fast really nice.

The room and especially the bath was a bit small.

What a great value for the money, especially for solo travelers! The hotel is conveniently located 1 block away from the Funabori station on the Shinjuku line, making travel very convenient. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood at all times, including late at night after getting off the last train. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, and they had extra supplies/toiletries that you could grab for free from the lobby. The breakfast in the connected restaurant that was included in my stay was great (Japanese, western, and Korean options), though there are other good places nearby for breakfast and other meals if you prefer. Tip: take advantage of the free coffee in the lobby instead of getting it from the restaurant where they charge you extra. Also, take advantage of the free beer and other beverages in the lobby each day! The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They have varying levels of English fluency, from native speaker to very basic, so please just be very kind and patient, and be prepared with a translator app if needed. I am a native English speaker from the US who speaks very little Japanese, and one morning I needed to ask a staff member a question, but they didn't speak much English. I took out Google Translate, and we had no issues! They were super friendly and even walked outside to point me to a nearby restaurant -- how kind! I will absolutely stay here again in the future!

Great value business hotel, close to train and facilities, 2nd time we’ve stayed, they have a really great friendly team that make you feel very welcome

Got sick with flu so spending the day in a small room wasn’t so good, normally just there to sleep so not their fault.

The location is less than a 5-minute walk from Funabori Station. I had a late check-in and contacted the hotel beforehand. The staff quickly replied and ensured everything would be okay even if I arrived late. One free daily drink can be collected from the fridge near the reception desk. There's also a hot beverage machine serving coffee and cocoa. The room is a typical compact Japanese business hotel, but it's clean, and all necessities are available.

There is no trash can inside the bathroom.

I lovedddd that this hotel had lots of amenities. If you forgot anything they had you covered. Lots of free drinks as well and a grocery store right around the corner!

I could use another pillow, but that’s only a minor mishap

Great value for money. The location was perfect for my plans, very near Funbori station. The staff are very nice and helpful. They could keep my luggage after check out.

Free drink, close to train station

    Very small

    8NkPosted on: 5-19-2024

    - It is on the Funabori metro station and near a Plaza and the Tower Hall Funabori. It is a must see - the view over Tokio at the sunset is amazing!- The room has every necessary furniture.- You can get amenities and a cup of coffee or tea at the morning.

    - The breakfast was the worst I ate in whole Japan throughout my trip (4 weeks). Japan has one of the most delicious and rich kitchen in the World, serving some "amerikan style white bread sandwich" or a raw egg as a possibility is really disappointing. Besides the whole restaurant was busy preparing "take outs" for later on, therefore there were limited seating. A won't recommend to eat there.- The rooms are small and not the newest also bit smelly.

you have a nice, comfortable private room for a good price. The staff was good. Not in the center but very close to the Toei line station (different than metro). The room was very clean and had everything needed. You have a supermarket a few meters from the hotel.

it is noisy, you can hear a lot the neighbors.

    7BronislawPosted on: 4-13-2024

Cost. Easy access to trainline. Close access to 115 metres tall tower with viewing observatory. I received a 'welcome beer' which, having travelled all day, was very welcome.

Not much to look at in the neighbourhood apart from the tower.

Station, shops and restaurants are nearby. The staff very helpful and the breakfast is super. You have to choose one dish from 3 style ( korean, western or japanese) My favourite was bibimbap.

    7PowersPosted on: 2-19-2024

A little difficult to find. Small place with a small sign on a small side street. Use a mapping app if you want to find it. Good breakfast in Korean cafe adjoining the hotel. No buffet, but 5-6 choices on menu cooked to order. Try the bibimbap.

Tiny room. Double bed occupied 80% of space. Be careful with the bathroom, especially at night. There is an 8-10" step into/out of it. Dangerous at night!

By train and bus is very near and convenient and alao free coffee ?

    9JamesPosted on: 11-29-2023

Very well-equipped hotel with everything you could want. A bit old, but very high quality and well maintained. The rooms are very tiny - you could view this as a negative, but it did not impact me so I found it nice.

The room did smell quite strongly of smoke. This isn't terrible as it clearly says smoking is allowed, but I expected the smell to be less powerful.

    9SrideviPosted on: 10-6-2023

Easy check in. 1 free water bottle and little free slipper and qtips and comb. Expensive in my opinion but a good stay.

So tiny! First time in Japan so maybe that’s how it is everywhere. But it was very tiny.

    8MichaelPosted on: 9-25-2023

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to the train station and supermarket as well as an arcade. The staff was very friendly and understood English. The free drink everyday was refreshing to come back to.

Some parts of the room weren't clean such as some dried blood on the bed sheets and wall stains.I would've preferred a stronger air conditioner. The emergency flashlight had a battery leak and didn't work.

    8LynnPosted on: 9-20-2023

The staff were amazing, every one of them. They also have a translating device for when communication is difficult. It is very close to Funabori Station. There is a coffee machine 24/7 which is free to use, and you can take one drink a day from the fridge with a good selection to choose from. Toiletries are also provided. We have stayed here many times and will book again if we have another chance to visit Japan. The air-conditioning in the room was a life saver as it was still extremely hot in September.

The rooms are very small and, because we usually stay for at least 10 days, we always book separate rooms usually opposite each other. The single rooms have a bit more space to store your luggage.
