Shuttle to Disney. Free breakfast. Cleanliness.
Free breakfast, the strangeness of the hotel and the shuttle bus to Tokyo Disney even though that I barely used it because I missed both the going and returning schedule.

Space was adequate as rooms in Japan tend to be small. Has everything you need like a fridge and microwave if you are going to visit Disneyland. They also have a free shuttle bus service to/ from theme parks. They run on a schedule and tend to be full.
They make guests with kids enjoy the stay at their hotel get the experience in a vacation.

The location to Tokyo Disney is convenient.
Everyone was so warm and welcoming, they even give you free gifts daily, free beverage & late snack, you get to pick your extra pillow. I like also that it's in the residential area, restaurants & groceries are within walking distance.
The staff was really great with non-Japanese speaking guests.

Top Tips
- Reserve Tokyo Disney Resort-adjacent hotels in Urayasu 3 to 6 months ahead to secure rooms during Golden Week (late April to early May) or late July to August. Rooms at major chains like Sheraton, Hilton, and Okura often sell out the day they open, and booking early also helps ensure access to desired amenities and room types.
- Use Maihama Station as your main transit point; the JR Keiyo Line reaches Tokyo Station in about 15 to 20 minutes, making day trips and airport transfers easier. Many top hotels offer shuttle service to the station; check if Narita or Haneda airport connections fit your itinerary.
- Compare the direct walk from Urayasu hotels to Maihama Station (800 to 1,500 m, or about 10 to 20 minutes) against scheduled free shuttle rides, especially since shuttles can run less frequently outside peak hours. Most major hotels post current shuttle schedules in their lobbies and on their websites.
- Ikspiari or Maihama Station coin lockers are practical for early arrivals or late departures, with daily rates of around ¥300 to ¥700 (approx. $2 to $5 USD) depending on size and availability. Many hotels also offer complimentary baggage storage at the front desk for registered guests; ask at check-in.
- Withdraw cash at Seven Bank ATMs in 7-Eleven stores near Maihama or Ikspiari; these ATMs support most international Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and Amex cards. Notify your bank before travel to avoid card declines.
- Hotel nightly rates rise during Tokyo Disney special events, with weekday stays typically 0 to 30% cheaper than weekends and higher prices during peak holidays. Compare rates for both weekdays and weekends to maximize savings.
- Request an accessible room in writing 7 to 14 days in advance at hotels like Sheraton, Hilton, or Okura, and specify your needs such as a roll-in shower or specific toilet height. Hotel staff will confirm availability or suggest alternatives as needed.
- Japan uses 100 V, 50 to 60 Hz electricity and Type A flat-pin plugs. Bring a plug adapter and make sure your high-wattage devices are compatible. Many international hotels can provide universal adapters at the front desk upon request.
- Check your hotel’s smoking policy ahead of time, since most Urayasu hotels are fully non-smoking except for designated areas or specific smoking floors. Violations may lead to room reassignment and cleaning fees of around ¥20,000 (approx. $140 USD); look for clearly marked smoking zones if needed.
- Dine or shop at Ikspiari mall next to Maihama Station after park hours, as its restaurants and stores usually stay open later than Tokyo Disney Resort outlets. Many hotels also have on-site convenience stores and late-night dining—ask reception for exact hours.
