El Ksar Resort & Spa- Family Hotel

I liked the activities , food , animation team was ok and the view and beach were spot on the staff was absolutely amazing

Many things, the service was Poor , the fact that you only get a bottle of water once per day in the room is annoying , also the reception was really bad , no explanation on where to find what

Furniture was old and doesnt have anything. Refrigerator was working loudly.

Amazing views, food, facilities, staff members and accessibility to the resort. This resort is known by most taxi drivers in the city and it is very well located.

The room had some ants, but other than that, we had no problem at all. They just need to get rid of ants in the rooms to be a 10/10.

The location was fine but the rest it was horrible

Internet kept cutting off but other than that nothing else.

The first contact with the reception people where extremely rude, on their phone while serving you, speaking to other in their language while serving you, not going the extra mile for the customer, I asked to pay in Pound and was informed that can only pay in Euro, doing so the Hotel will control the exange rate, and took all together £15 from me for commission on paying. My wife had a food poisoning and was informed that if the doctor came in, I would have to pay €40 for the visit, but I was never giving another option, i.e., hospital. You are seeing as a money bag's, extracting the maximum possible from you was the goal, I spoke French the Hotel worker national/Education language so confusion was the cause of this. The staff from the swiming pool, kids Club and the Restaurant was amazing ? alway smiling and helping. Even the Manager of the day of my arrival was verry stubbies and arrogant. I was looking forward to a good holiday but will not want to come to this Hotel.again.

Location and pool

THERE ARE COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE, even inside the rooms. My bed had ants rolling on me. Some employees were nice but some were really disrespectful towards women.

The place is massive, some parts I just discovered after few days. It's quiet, right on a beach, had a sea view room it was amazing. Room was spacious with a large bathroom. Cleaned every day and staff made animals from towels on a bed. Food was delicious and lots of choices, the staff was very attandent. Beach was great, soft sand and nice warm sea. Security got extra beds out if it wasn't available any. Private, security was around and beach sellers were not allowed to go up to the beds. Animation team was great, lots of programs every day. Beach party was the best with foam party, but should be longer not just few hours, people loved it.

WiFi was good but only available in a lobby and in a terrace. By the beach I could barely connect and in a room it was no chance getting a signal. Its 2024 WiFi should be available everywhere in a hotel.

Buffet options are good, alot to choose from. Majority of it tasted lovely. The access to town and the beach was great. Convenience of everything included was great.

The rooms looked nothing at all like the pictures. The resort is dated, it needs some love in some areas painting, upkeep etc. The WiFi was terrible.

Please lunch a basic refurbishment as the hotel is in a good location has the ground and the facade in order to be one of the best hotels in souse

Just add room service

I was made water and they called the reception. The service is close and the fridge in the room it’s empty so I think I need to add water catle for coffee

Great selection of food. Some of the meals prepared freshly in front of the guests. Lovely staff from housekeeping, waiting to animation.

Unfortunately bathroom looked very dated and was not properly cleaned. Some of the facilities weren’t open at the time we came such as children’s pool with slides which was disappointing. Poor variety of drinks.

Terrible rude lady at reception. WIFI not working anywhere around the resort. AC not working

The staff who where at the reception were very kind and friendly. The staff who do the children's activities where amazing. Very understanding and help full. The cleaning ladies did an amazing Job and where always smiling.The place was very safe and secure for children and adults. It includes a free private beach and spa too which was amazing. You can find a lot of staff everywhere which made the hotel and beach very safe and secure.

The hotel could do with some new up to date renovation. I also did not like the fact that you was not allowed to bring any kinds of drinks ( water too ) into the hotel and they had to be purchased even when dining.

The rooms were very very basic but the bed was sooo comfortable. The swimming pool indoor is ok again basic, the hammam was really really nice

The rooms are not sound proof at all, the food was absolutely disgusting we paid half board and ate nothing at all. Really bad basic self food not 4 star at all. No drinks available either. They charge you 20 dinars for a remote control.

Location, loads of food

The décor created an Eastern ambiance and gave the hôtel a unique charm that far exceeded its capacity to serve its guestd.

The service was less than idea and not cominsurate with the price. The quality of food was poor, and the facilities clearly run down in places - a sure sign that the entire hôtel was not interested in customer-service.

The beach only

The furniture was too old, the hair dryer didn’t work, the sink in bathroom was blocked, there is no pluggers apart from the TV and the light ones. Wifi not available at all. The staff would treat you differently if they know you come from an Arab country example I am Algerian. They would treat foreigners better (for tips) no variety of animations one programme was being played on repeat for the whole week that I have been there. The AC in restaurant doesn’t work, the food wasn’t great . I booked a taxi with the receptionist to take us to the airport and not only he came late and we nearly missed the flight but also wasn’t a taxi driver it was some random guy that could be a relative to the receptionist so he came make some money, the guy looked dodgy and wanted me to sign a paper of rental car in case we get checked by the police. I would not recommend the hotel

amazing staff - polite, courteous and helpful. Food standards was satisfactory for an all inclusive buffet.

facilities can use a bit of renovation and maintenance the elevators for example - also the wifi availability is not great and takes a lot of effort to get internet. drinks quality can be improved slightly to offer more choice.
