The hotel is located next to the Mont Choisy beach, nice property overall, pleasant staff. Taxis are easy to find, I mainly used the local Dodogo app and had no problems getting in or out.The breakfast was quite good, interesting concept - set menu with fruits, croissants and a main dish to choose from several options. The portions were generous, selection of juices and coffee (self-service from the machine nearby).The hotel pool was very nice, with great sea view. I also liked the room which was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable big bed and a large shower area.

I can't really think of anything. There are stray dogs wandering around. But this seems to be the case everywhere on the island.

The hotel did not warn us that they were fumigating the premises. It is very irresponsible. My sister was on the balcony and I was walking from the pool area back to the room. I saw the smoke and asked the cleaning lady what is going on. She informed me that they set off cannisters for fumigation. Arriving back in the room I saw my sister sitting in a thick cloud of smoke. I immediately informed her to come in. The day after she started coughing and has been in bed since our arrival back home the following day. I am still shocked about the whole incident!

The location and the staff were really great! Beautiful view on the beach and the breakfast staff were very attentive. The bed was also comfortable.

The rooms really need maintenance and deep cleaning specifically in the bathroom (bathroom joints, toilet seat, etc). The beach towels have a strong perfume which made us noseous.There needs to be better access to the beach.

Really nice hotel, at the beach next on the whole beautiful bay. Definitely great for the price and the stuff there were always helpful and friendly and generally we had a great experience.

The hotel is truly beautiful, offering stunning views and exceptionally comfortable rooms. Staff went above and beyond with personal touches, including accommodating an early check-in and late checkout. The fresh fish dishes were delicious, and I appreciated the availability of almond milk for my morning cappuccino. The location is perfect - nestled between two magnificent beaches (Mont Choisy right next door and Trou aux Biches just a pleasant 15-20 minute coastal walk away), making it an ideal spot for beach lovers.

Despite being advertised as having high-speed WiFi, the connection wasn't sufficient for video conferencing, even after staff helpfully switched me to a faster network. The restaurant menu could benefit from more green salad and vegetable options. Additionally, a safety concern: I learned from another guest to avoid swimming in the rocky section of beach in front of the hotel due to possible stonefish - a warning sign would be helpful for guest safety.

Very close to Mont Choisy beach. The staff were amazing, friendly and incredibly helpful. Breakfast wasn't too bad.

They didn’t replace the towels or the bed sheets, they just picked them up from the floor and fold them back in counters

Poor communication, we booked half board basis for the duration of our stay. On Friday Valentine’s Day. They had a valentine dinner event that amounted to Rs1800 and they added the amount to our room bill even though we didn’t book it. They forced us to pay it upon check out

The staff were superb. Extremely polite and very helpful. The hotel is located close to Gran Baie and the beach but you definitely need a car or transport to get about. The hotel is right on the beach. Stunning views

We had a wonderful balcony with views over the beach but no seats on the balcony or anywhere to sit. Despite airing the room continuously there was a strong smell of cigarettes/snoke on the curtains/room. They obviously encourage smoking as there was an ashtray in the room. As non smokers this was particularly unpleasant. I’d urge them not to allow smoking in the rooms. They were told and attempted to use some spray, but the curtains would need washing to remove the strong odour. The breakfast included was modest. The portion sizes were small. We had some disturbed sleep which wasn’t anything the hotel could do. Our room overlooked the beach/car park and someone decided to set off fireworks at 3am then the other nights dogs were barking in the night.
