    Pros +

    • Location, convivence, Family Mart at 1st F.
    • Room was small (to be expected for Tokyo) but perfect for one person. Everything was clean. Possibly the fastest check-in and check-out I've ever experienced, because it was all by machine (though I don't know what one would do if there was an issue of some kind). All around nothing objectionable.
    • The location was perfect, close to the train, food and night life. I booked this hotel near Benizuru Pancake i mentioned ally and it was exactly what we wanted. It was more expensive than I would have liked. Check in/out was easy, accessibility to toiletries and laundry was nice too.

    Cons -

    • Not much
    • Nothing!
    • The beds were harder than I would have liked and the bathroom was somewhat like showering in and airplane bathroom. Our door handle brok off on our last day but the staff came right away and fixed it. Having laundry facilities on our floor was really nice but the dryers would work and I was up very late drying my clothes, I had to use the dryer on one load 3 or 4 times and eventually gave up and hung the damp clothes in my room overnight.

—great variety of breakfast foods; the breakfast area gets loud/crowded but there is another room where you can eat (wish we’d realize this) —very clean—great attention when I called or messaged; got responses right away —being able to keep luggage there (in lockers if available or locked leash) was very helpful both before/after our stay —convenient location for public transport, shopping, restaurants…—the room was very quiet

—the automated systems were practical and efficient, but lessened the warmth from human service (that we came to live in Japan)—room was functional but also small and no personality —seems expensive for that size of room; maybe that’s Tokyo? —lobby is small and can get very crowded

Good value for money for a room with 2 separate beds and a little more space than typical budget hotels in Tokyo.

    8FRANKPosted on: 1-19-2026

    The location. Large room.

The air conditioner was on a timer. Temperature would drop from 20 to 24 after around 30 minutes.24C was too warm in the room.

    Good location and nice staff

Clean, easy check in. Staff extremely helpful when i lost my earbuds in room.

The room is nice. Not too small for 3 persons but also not big enough. I like the baggage storage where you can place your luggages and roam around the city while waiting for check in time. Easy check in and check out. The location is perfect 5 mins walk to Asakusa Temple and markets, 15mins walk to Skytree viewing deck, 5mins walk to subway stations and 5 to 10mins walk to nearby restaurants.

TV is only limited to Japanese channels. Pillows not that comfy.

There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The river and Asahi sky room were also within walking distance. Check in and check out were convenient and complimentary luggage storage and a machine to vacuum pack clothes were both available at the hotel lobby. There was also a convenience store right at the entrance of the hotel.

Train stations were a bit of a walk from the hotel, which is a bit of a struggle if you have many pieces of luggage, but I was able to do it.

It is located near a good number of restaurants and cafes. It’s also a quiet area. I was able to sleep well even with my window open. Check in and check out were convenient and there were luggage storage and a machine to vacuum pack clothes in the hotel lobby.

It was a bit of a walk to the train station. I had to go back and forth with 2 pieces of luggage since I took the train to takayama and back and also the train to and from the airport. But without those pieces of luggage, it would be an easy walk.

Clean rooms, even though space is small is very functional. I like the Family Mart directly downstairs without even to have to go outside. The Pola bath products

Pillows were not comfortable. Need a trash can for the bathroom. Other than the cream, all other free toiletries outside the elevator were not helpful.

    Its a standard room.

I'd heard a lot of good things about this hotel chain from youtubers, so I was very excited to stay here. I booked a standard twin bed room and what I got was exactly that - It was a standard room with nothing unique about it. There was nothing 'Henna' in it. I guess all the advertising is for the special and themed rooms. I learnt my lesson - only book this hotel if you can shell out the money for one of the themed rooms.

    Clean roomsGreat locationSpacious Good shower

Beds/pillows not the most comfortable Better pillows would make it much better

    7MelaniePosted on: 12-15-2025

The room was spotless and a decent size with a good sized bathroom. Very quiet.

The self check-in felt very impersonal. We didn't see any reception staff for the 3 days we were there. I'm sure they would have been available if we had needed them, but not seeing any staff made it feel a bit unwelcoming.

Location was amazing and the lockers for your luggage, the compression bags and the cleanliness were extraordinary, the room size for Japan was fantastic and they do take care of little details, their process to do the online check-in is easy but note you must do it before arriving for smoother arrival. The family mart below with access to the elevators was fantastic! The LG steamer was a really cool addition.

Horrendous breakfast, this is seriously the worst breakfast I have ever had on a trip, and I travel a lot. All the choices were Indian food, one Japanese, and the scrambled egg looked like vomit, horrendous coffee, just dont do breakfast is absolutely awful! There are many restaurants around go get better food outside. Our room was always freezing even with the heater on and the bathroom was a complete freezer even when you took a shower it wouldnt heat up, it was so cold, like the distribution and air flow was not good and it didnt warm up even with the heater. We were in a 10th floor in a corner room. It was colder in the room that outside, freezing.

It's conveniently located in the northern part of the city. Asakusa and Kappabashi are within walking distance. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. There's a convenience store below. This was my second stay, and I was pleased again.

    9LouisePosted on: 11-29-2025

The luggage storage option was very useful. The waiting area with the tables/chairs was very convenient as we came in early and needed a place to relax before checking in.

Close to Asakusa, easy checkin and out, very clean

We stayed last year and were on the 11th floor, so had a lovely view of the city. We were looking forward to that again, however we were on the 4th floor and looked out onto a wall of another hotel, so it was a different experience.

To start with ,Communication before arrival via chat, excellent!!. Second I double book same hotel with different dates and they were so flexible and understandable that were able to cancel extra cancellations with no cost, that was awesome, it was almost 700 Dlls?. Third I sent my luggage from Osaka and they kept it as told and was there at my arrival time. 4 they kept my extra luggage before check in without questions. Check in was smoothly and they had humans ?to help you !!!Room was very clean!! You have family mart first floor and 7/11 across the street. About 10 mins from Tagawarachi Sta. shout 700 yen’s taxi from Senso-Ji. Lots of good food around!! Big value for your money. And almost forget they have bag compression machine for your clothes and toys for 300 yen’s. Excellent service, facility, customer care and location. Will stay again and 100 % recommended!!!

Location was convenient in Asakusa and close to subway stations. Hotel was clean. Room was a decent size when considering common room sizes in Japan - enough for two backpacks and two carry-ons. May be tight for bigger luggage. Family mart on the first floor. 7-eleven and Lawson a 2 min walk away. Super convenient. Efficient and modern luggage storage for day of check in and check out!

Bed was very firm, but likely common in other hotels from what I read. But my back definitely hurt each morning :(
