Pros +
- The hotel is 3 minute walk away from metro station. It has Skyliner station that goes directly to Narita airport, which makes it extremely convenient. There are restaurants and supermarket in between metro station and the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.
- Well priced, great location, quite compact and simple.
- Near train station , staff can speak English
Cons -
- Room just enough for 1 person with luggage; Price can be cheaper
- Cramped space
- On my last day, my friend, who was staying at a different hotel nearby, came over to help me grab my luggage from my room so we could head to the airport together. As soon as we walked in, the front desk staff made a scene and told her she wasn’t allowed to go up with me because she wasn’t listed on the reservation. It was honestly unnecessary and embarrassing — she was literally just going to help me for about ten minutes to carry my bags down. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and most staff are understanding in these situations, but here they handled it very poorly. What made it even more frustrating was how crowded the lobby already was. The hotel offers luggage storage, but they had hundreds of suitcases piled throughout the lobby — so many that it was difficult to even walk through without tripping over bags. It looked completely disorganized and gave off a chaotic impression, especially for guests checking out or trying to find their way through.Another big issue was the room temperature. Even though it wasn’t that cold outside, the thermostat had automatically switched to heating mode for the winter season, and it couldn’t be changed back to cooling. The room became uncomfortably hot and stuffy, and despite trying to adjust the settings, nothing worked. When I asked the front desk about it, they told me the system automatically switches to heat during the winter months and that there was no way to turn it off — the only solution they offered was to open the window. I tried that, but my room faced the train station, and the noise was so loud it kept me awake most of the night.Overall, I left feeling frustrated. Between the uncomfortable room temperature, the chaotic lobby, and the front desk staff’s poor handling of a simple situation, it wasn’t a pleasant way to end my stay

Elegant. Clean. Accessible
Cramped space
The hotel looked nice and it was near the train station.

This is the best APA location if you need to take the Skyliner to the airport. The whole hotel is smoke-free so that is nice. The staff is very friendly.
The wi-fi is pretty much unusable. Painfully slow. There is no individual A/C in the rooms. It can get unpleasantly warm in there and the best thing you can do is turn off the fan and open the window.I stayed in December, the temp outside was 8˚C and inside the room it got up to 29˚C. I had to deliberately open/close the window every few hours to control the temperature. Awful experience.
Location.
Room size.Value.
Perfect position right next to Nippori station. Everything was as you'd expect from an APA hotel/for the price.
The beds were a little too soft and bouncy, the Wi-Fi internet connection worked, but sometimes it was slow and not reliable for calls. There's no lobby, just a couple of chairs near the front desk, which were sometimes all taken.
The Hotel location is excellent. The Hotel room is clean and comfort.I can recommend!
The room size is tiny, but it is in Tokyo. So, I guess it is normal here.
- The location: a vibrant and lively neighbourhood. The neighbourhood feels more local than touristy and this is what I particularly liked about it. There are a lot of eating options around. It is also very well connected (easy to get to the more touristy areas).- The room: my room was small but comfortable- The value/price
- The wifi stopped working on a few occasions, I had to go twice to the reception to ask them to do something about it and they were able to fix the issue.
It improved alot from the last time we stayed in the hotel.
There were some portions that were not dusted properly. There was a ghost in the room and it just turned on the TV. We stayed in room 904
Location is good, room is clean and cozy, and breakfast is wonderful!
Size is typically small, but that is a norm in Japan.
Really close to the station, drugstore, and lawsons. The sink, toilet, and tub were clean.
Temperature slightly too warm, but there is BBQ exhaust particulates which is bad for allergies when I open the window because of the location being next to many bars.Christmas tree cuts off the shortest path from front door to elevator.Grout could be cleaner and shower curtains smelled sour.
Great location, reasonable price, clean and comfortable.
No onsen
Superb location within a few minutes walk from Nippori station where the Skyliner takes you from Marita airport in 30 minutes.
The bed is much too soft and so old that it's sinking in the middle. The room is much too warm especially at night when you sleep covered with the thick blankets. When the rooms are so small, it would make sense to have a common area where guests can sit. The lobby is jam packed with stored luggage making access difficult.
The location and breakfast was good. Temperature in the room was uncomfortable.
The room was heated too high. It was uncomfortable.
i was super close to the station yamanote line seven eleven and family mart were just near to the hotel .
there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom and on the day of checking out i asked for an extra hour to check out and they charged me 1000 yen
This is the perfect location as it is on the Yamanote line, only a few stops from Ueno and a Skyliner stop.
Check out at 10:00 is quite early. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Japan over the years, but this must be the smallest room and tiniest bathroom ever. Every morning one has to navigate the piles of used/fresh bedsheets and garbage bags in the corridor. The reception area serves as a suitcase storage place. The pictures show my impression of this hotel.
Excellent location, right next to a train and metro station. Really convenient for transport from and to the airport. On the day we checked out, the hotel stored our luggage for a few hours before it was time to go to the airport, which allowed us a bit of extra time to shop before the flight. The staff were extremely helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There are lots of restaurants and diners along the street outside the hotel, with emphasis on a really good one that serves the famous Japanese beef which you barbecue on a grill on your table.
The room we got was absolutely tiny. That's apparently normal in many Japanese hotels. If you're traveling heavy, you'll have a bit of a problem, especially if you're a couple. We had to ask the hotel to store one of our suitcases. That's standard practice for them. There's also an issue with room cleaning. They do it only once every 3 days, and of course after checkout. That means you need to put used towels and bags of rubbish in the hall outside of the room. In return you find a bag with fresh towels hanging outside the door on the handle. No big deal.
Just average but there are better APA hotels than this one.
The noise from the station. The staff were not so friendly. There was a many items on the hallway.
