    Pros +

    • Rooms - big enough for two people and open two big check in luggages. Bed was okay, I suggest getting the pillows offered at the lobby (different styles / tops) to your liking.Big perk: accessibility. So many subway lines run through here, as the station is right there. Incredibly convenient and easy to hit the usual Tokyo popular tourist spots.Abundance of shopping: Termina, GU, Uniqlo, Daiso and more nearby. Donki (although smaller than Mega), had everything I wanted and needed.Lots of food spots: Rotary sushi, fast food, bars. local ramen faves, etc. I came here with family and friends and we were able to find food we liked. It was very easy and blocks away.Perks: The onsite onsen after a long day of shopping and being a tourist is a huge perk! It’s very private and clean.Free yummy ice cream at the lobby, cheap laundry and free dryer. The hotel breakfast is good for what it is and had a little bit of variation through the days we stayed. All in all, this hotel was worth the money paid for its convenience, perks, and ease of public transportation access. I wouldn’t mind staying here again or within the area in general!
    • Hotel was very close to the train station. This area has plenty of food even late into the evening. But it’s not noisy or crowded. Very accessible to key attractions. Hotel was kept very very clean and neat. All amenities I need were available for free. Public bath opens throughout the night, which was really nice. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room’s desk was really useful for me. Nothing to complain about, even the rooftop offered a nice view of the area. Would stay here again the next time.
    • Clean, staff is friendly and speaks English, easy access to subway. Many local option to eat in the surroundings of the hotel. Rooftop has a great view of Tokyo Tower.

    Cons -

    • In my room, there was a very slight urine smell from time to time that would waft occasionally. I did flush and run the water, smelled around the bathroom itself but it wasn’t there. When I turned on the air conditioner, the smell would go away.
    • Not something I was bothered with but something to keep in mind. This hotel only has one elevator, so during peak hours (7AM - 10AM: Breakfast & Check out), the elevator may take a while. They have signs up at each floor in front of the lift too about this. Also, they don’t have a 24/7 front desk staff, so plan accordingly if you have a red eye flight.
    • Coming from Scandinavia, the rooms felt and actually were very small. My wife and I were not able to open both of our suitcases due to limited space, we had to take turns to do that. Onsen does not allow tattooed people. Breakfast was OK!

We had a great stay at Super Hotel Kinshicho Ekimae. Check-in was fast and easy, which made arriving stress free. There is a small onsen located on the same floor as the check-in area, and it was a nice bonus after a long day of walking. The included breakfast was excellent and very filling, giving us a great start to each day. The room was a good size, and the second bunk bed was especially convenient and helped make the space feel more comfortable. We also had a view of Tokyo Tower from our window, which was really nice to see, especially in the evenings. The location is extremely convenient, with plenty of restaurants, malls, and the train station all nearby. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book here again.

I like the Onsen “Hot spring “ and we are lucky we got a room can see Tokyo Skytree from our window. My son really like it. There’s free bar from 4pm to 7pm but I don’t drink alcohol, so to those people who drink alcohol I’m sure they will enjoy it. The breakfast was good ??

Convenient location, subway station & airport bus terminal is right across the hotel. Lots of great eateries & shopping areas too.

Very convenient location in Koto. Onsen in hotel. One thing that we enjoyed a lot was a very good water pressure from the shower, although we were staying on 10th floor.

Coming from Scandinavia, the rooms felt and actually were very small. My wife and I were not able to open both of our suitcases due to limited space, we had to take turns to do that. Onsen does not allow tattooed people. Breakfast was OK!

    9DaltonPosted on: 12-3-2025

The location was incredible. Close to Tokyo Skytree and Kinshicho Station.

I wish that the onsen was a bit warmer.

    10KennethPosted on: 11-17-2025

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was close to transportation. The breakfast was included and quite good.

The location was very nice! The train station Kinshichō was very convenient and exploring what Tokyo had to offer. Also Skytree was a short walk. The breakfast was included which was convenient for getting out and exploring quickly. The hotel was immaculately clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location had multiple stores and food places near by. and the view was breathtaking!

Rooms are a bit small and we didn’t have access to a closet.

The open bar in the evenings was a nice touch ? Breakfast buffet has all kinds of different foods. Very yummy, good variety, plenty to eat. There were at least 5 different types of pillows to choose from, which I thought was a cool feature.

That bed killed my back ?

    10DarylPosted on: 8-4-2025

The staff were very helpful when I needed to ask questions and also check my bags in early. The onside Onsen was perfect!Check out was super easy - No card to hand back as it's all pin code and you just leave out the door before 10am.

This is a fantastic location. A five minute walk from the train station. A 7/11 and Lawson right down stairs. Has an amazing rooftop view, free breakfast and free hot tub. Also a free drink at night available in the lobby.

The rooms are a bit small but I knew this going in to it so not the properties fault. Just a warning.

    9FenniePosted on: 6-13-2025

The location was nice, only one stop away from (Oshiage) Sky Tree and the Hanzomon line took us many places. There were many malls around the area, which meant a lot of food options and shopping. We were lucky to have Sky Tree view from the room. The bottom bed is a queen sized bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is only one elevator. Breakfast wasn't that exceptional with only few options, it's a bit hit or miss. Thin walls, you could occasionally hear the next room.

    8Joey a. M.Posted on: 6-13-2025

Great location, relaxing onsen, and a traditional Japanese healthy breakfast selection. Plus we had a great view of the sky tree from our room.

Our stay would have been wonderful if not for the stained linen in our room. The stain—possibly blood or a coffee spill—was quite noticeable. I informed the front desk, and while they offered to replace it, I declined since we were checking out the next morning. Still, such visibly stained linen should never be used, especially when it's that obvious.

Near train stations, mall and restaurants.

    8JOYCEPosted on: 5-15-2025

Breakfast was good but if you eat lightly, you can easily pickup things at nearby Lawsons or 7-Eleven. The station is nearby as is a Starbucks and Excelsior Coffee.Location is excellent, near station, shopping and the Sumida Hokusai Museum.Across the street is the Tobu Levant Hotel where you can easily catch an airport limousine bus to Haneda.

Be prepared for a very small room and bathroom. OK for one but tight for 2.

    7AlysonPosted on: 5-14-2025

Location. Publix transport. Nearby retailers and cafes, restaurants. Fabulous view of Skytower from room.

The room was so tiny for two people. Each had to vacate for the other to get dressed, unpack and pack to vacate room.

    9ChristopherPosted on: 5-13-2025

The hotel is located right across the street from Kinshicho station, which provides easy access to the rest of Tokyo. The double room is decently sized and the bed is comfortable. The included buffet breakfast each morning offers a nice variety of options. The public bath is not very big, but it was always clean and offered a very relaxing hot water temperature. The coin laundry is great too, and very modestly priced. There is convenience store just outside the hotel entrance, and a myriad of dining on shopping options within walking distance.

There were no ice machines except during breakfast service.
