Beds were hard

The hotel is placed behind just JR Shiomi Station, it’s convenient to go to Tokyo Station or Tokyo Disneyland and so on. The room is wide and clean. They also offer various amenities including the bathroom goods.

The bed was little hard for me.

Spacious, modern peaceful bedroom, with friendly hotel staff. The hotel is located directly opposite the metro station, making it easy to get into the city centre in just a few minutes. The service offering is very good for the price, the bath salts were a lovely idea for guests to create their own blend.There is a small shop attached to the hotel to get basic provisions from.

The local surrounding area is a bit sparse, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

I prefer quiet neighborhoods with access to key cities when I travel. This hotel satisfies both! Rooms are spacious compared to usual ones in Tokyo. It's super near a train station (1-2 min walk), supermarket, convenience stores in the hotel premises and a few ones 3 mins away. It's 3 stations away from Disneyland, 3 stations away from Tokyo center! I love it so much ?

Convenient location, Breakfast was okay, Room was nice.

The location was GREAT. The JR Rail station was right across the street and it easy to get to downtown Tokyo, as well as the Disney theme parks. We enjoyed the location as it was away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Wonderful amenities and good breakfast. Nice lobby. Even though the room was small, it was very comfortable. Convenience store on site and open 24/7. Larger grocery store about a 5 min walk away.

Limited closet space and nowhere to unpack your clothes. One luggage rack and we had to use the small table for the other suitcase. Limited menu at downstairs bar and no other waitstaff restaurants nearby (there were a couple of noodle shops where you ordered at the kiosk).

Beds were too firm for my comfort

the family rooms with bunk beds are designed perfectly for a family with kids. The stay becomes very comfortable and also enjoyable. We loved the way the room was furnished with all the required amenities without compromising on free space.The breakfast spread was good every day. It had a bunch of vegetarian options which was superb for us.The location of the hotel is perfect if you are going towards Disneyland, TeamLabs, Legoland etc. the metro station is right in front of the hotel. Furthermore, it is only three stops away from the Tokyo station.Breakfast, location, wi-fi, room size, amenities - all were really good. There is a convenience store right inside the hotel and a currency exchange machine too. Hotel reception staff were fluent in English and were helpful with information about things outside the hotel.

Hotel is just 2 minutes walk from subway station in a quiet neighborhood. We had a good meal at a local bar, enjoyed the interaction with bar owners and next seat customers from local.

Great breakfast. Really good location across from the Shiomi railway station, 3 stops on the Kaiyo line from Tokyo station. However, it a long but well marked route through Tokyo station to the Kaiyo Line. It’s a great location for all things near the waterfront. The rooms were a decent size for Japan but like most beds in hotels we stayed in the beds are really hard. The room had two sitting chairs and a coffee table which was nice. The toilet was separate from the bathroom which was also nice. They have some good coffee pods and machine and also cups for tea which was lovely.

If there is a plan for the check-in morning for the tourist from abroad, it would be great.

The hotel is in a quiet location east of downtown Tokyo, but since it's across the street from the subway station access is easy. Exceptionally quiet rooms. Staff is unfailingly helpful. Cleanliness is exceptional - even by Japanese standards.

Not many dining options in the area. Other than that - nothing.

Absolutely amazing! A beautiful new, modern, and comfortable hotel. The location is super convenient. We only spent one night here before flying home, but we had a very good impression. The room is very ergonomically designed and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, including an adapter for Japanese sockets and a coffee machine with high-quality coffee capsules. Very comfortable bathroom. Super modern laundry room on the floor. The staff is simply charming. I highly recommend this hotel!

Initially, we booked only for 2 nights because we were thinking of changing hotels nearer a relative in the suburbs of Tokyo, but a JR station with storage lockers is just across the street, and we were so comfortable in the hotel, we decided to stay in Tokyo East Side Hotel Kaie for the duration of our stay in Tokyo. It has everything inside the hotel premises - a clothes shop, a Family Mart, restaurants, a weighing scale for luggage, a foreign exchange machine good for currencies all over the world, vending machines, microwave, ice dispenser, etc. We arrived very late on our first night but we did not go hungry and had a decent meal because of Family Mart and the microwave.

We stayed for 5 days and we got tired of the same buffet breakfast offerings everyday.

It was clean, comfortable, and quiet-- everything I needed to get a good night of rest before/after a day of adventuring! It was right across the street from JR Shiomi station (which goes straight to Tokyo station), a handy grocery store, and some restaurants. It's not in the middle of a busy area or night life, which was perfect for me. The station was only a couple stops from the Disney resort so that was convenient for the days we went to Disneysea/land. I didn't make use of this, but in the lobby there was a cute Mickey Mouse statue with outfits your kids could wear to take pictures.I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends or family visiting Tokyo!

The quadruple room was enormous and styled in the traditional Japanese style with tatami mats. It had 4 large single beds and a LOT of space. It was directly across the road from Shiomi Train station, making it extremely easy to get to Tokyo Disneyland (3 stops away). There was a good supermarket directly opposite the hotel on the other side of the train station, making it very convenient to get water and snacks.
