    Pros +

    • 10m from the Asakusa station.Asakusa itself has a lot to see.Clean and japan-standards-spacious room. There is a coin laundry. For a 4-night stay it did the trick.I can't comment the breakfast, I didn't have it there.
    • The location is great and convenient, being a short walk from the station and minutes away from grocery and convenience stores. The area is very local, residential, and quite special when compared to staying in more touristy areas. If you simply need a budget location to sleep at night, this place works okay. The staff is nice and easy to reach out to and communicate with.
    • Quiet, clean, near train station

    Cons -

    • Wifi a bit weak sometimes.
    • The rooms are a lot smaller than they seem compared to in photos, being just enough space for the beds. The bathrooms are also extremely tiny, and weren't the cleanest - our shower door had visible mold on the outside. Several items throughout the room were also dusty, even after requesting cleaning. While the hotel was within our budget, I personally would prefer to pay more next time for another hotel.
    • Compared to previous inns/guesthouses i’ve tried so far, this one lacks a lot of amenities and the room was too small

    Helpful staff

Rooms are so small that you can’t open your suitcase unless it’s on the bed. The sink shower combo was not great, as you end up with an unwanted shower when you want to wash your hands ? breakfast was a disappointment

Staff are attentive and friendly, even though on my late arrival for check in.

    Great location, nice building.

way too small, couldn't even handle my luggage inside the room.

    7MichaelPosted on: 8-7-2025

Room size was above average for Tokyo.

Kind of in a residential part of the city so there are a lot of rules about noise. But a perfect place to sleep and explore the city.

The size of the room and the location were perfect for the price

The toilet was a bit smelly, which could be due to the house being a bit older.

Room is clean, Easy check in and out, easy access to public transportation, room is enough space I think is bigger than I expected and affordable

Great location. Staffs are really nice. They allowed me to drop luggages before checking in.

Little bit small for two adult but fair. Affordable and reasonable.

    Great location. Extremely friendly staff

Very nice size rooms and very clean organized place

Not to far from Ginza station, not a bad price. Nice view of Skytower.

The bathroom smelled, the breakfast had small choices and the rooms were small.

    7Keller-CarterPosted on: 5-20-2025

Not to far from shopping and Train station.

There was a smell from the bathroom, the room and bathroom were small for 2 adults. The breakfast was ok.

    Friendly staff good food

Everything was written in Japanese, English would help

The room itself is little smaller but that’s expected. It was clean & cozy. It’s little walk to Asakusa station, around 10 min, it’s okay. The only disappointment was the breakfast, there aren’t much options and not so tasty.

Tiny room. At first I thought it was a bit far from the action, but once we got our bearings and found the convience store around the corner it was good. Nice and quiet at night No where to sit, only on bed, very small room, tiny bathroom. Expensive room for what you get. But staff were great and room was clean. Great view of the sky tree, especially at night.

Ano Hotel really exceeded our expectations for the trip! It has a stunning view of Tokyo Skytree from the balcony area leading to the rooms and it is in a really convenient location, just a short walk from Asakusa and Senso-ji in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel has laundry facilities if you need them and they will also store your luggage in the breakfast room if you arrive early or need to leave bags there if you plan on going out after checkout and don't need to take them with you yet.The rooms themselves are clean and simple but equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is free wifi which is great for overseas visitors as well. I'd highly recommend it!

    Nothing - everything was amazing.

    7TreimanePosted on: 3-16-2025

It's a great location and very clean room and friendly staff.

It's very small. Slightly cold in the evenings. Room was smaller than it seemed in the pictures. Many lights on by the ceiling, so bring a sleeping mask, if you're a light sleeper. Walls are also thin, so bring ear plugs.

    7OlivieriPosted on: 3-15-2025

Good position, short walk from Asakusa stations. Good buffet breakfast Japanese style, kind staff

The room was really really small and with a small child ilt was hard!

    8LeongPosted on: 2-13-2025

Overall, the experience was not bad. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable for me. I also liked the nice TV with Netflix, good lighting, and the fact that it’s a strictly non-smoking hotel, which kept the room odor-free and fresh. Surrounding was super quiet and chill! Quite a distsnce away from main city. Although there isn’t public onsen, but there’s shower for every room. The staff were very friendly, could speak Cantonese, and were thoughtful and helpful. You can even leave your luggage at the hotel after checkout if needed. ?

The location isn’t the best, as it’s about a 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station. If you're unsure about which exit to take, you might end up walking an extra 10 minutes, so it’s good to check the directions in advance! ?‍♂️?Not suggest to walk alone at night especially for women and girls.
